HFXC from SMS Laser - Can a cheap MFAL be original and good?

    Get’er to the range and let us know if it holds zero. No one has done this yet on a production version.

      Sadly, it's been freezing fog here, so outdoor range is not only freakin' cold, but beams are literally blocked by the heavy fog that rolls in just before dark. However, I *have* been doing laser zero retention testing by using multiple optics/lasers mounted to a carbine. All are sighted in on a grid, with the carbine fixed in a sled. The various optics/laser's original positions are marked on the grid. Then the SMS laser is impacted with a rubber mallet from various directions. The whole setup is then re-aligned so the other optic/lasers are at their originally marked positions and see if the SMS originally marked position has changed.

      @ appreciate ya goin above and beyond like that. I’ve been waiting on the iris to drop but if this holds up it might be a real option for nv capability on non dedicated builds. My main nv rig wears a D2 but she’s a chonky gal and I wouldn’t mind selling it to fund an iris and a cpl of these. Thanks again
