- Hey everyone! Today I got my repaired 'Home' Sailor foutain pen back from Yoseka Stationery! So I'm going to unbox it and ink it up with a nice Autumn ink from Dominant Industry called Maple. I'll also include some footage of the oopsie design they originally sent out that I'll place side by side so you can see the difference. Lastly, I'll do a little line test showing what the Zoom nib from Sailor writes like.

I like the paler gold trims on their Sailors. Depending on the colors, of course, some yellow gold trims work very well with other colors and then sometimes it is too striking for me xD For their Home pen, the yellow gold does look nice with it, but I think the softer champaign gold fits well with any pen. You can call the "butt" (LMAO) the end finial. Some pens don't have cap finials or end finials, and Sailor is one of them that makes these cute little finials :D I'm so excited for you for your Yoseka x Sailor collection! They're super pretty ^_^
P.S. You'll buy more Sailors. :) lol!! unless you only bought these due to your love for Yoseka :D

that was a drama for sure- but what I don't understand is why would they not check the shipment before sending out those pens? I may be wrong, but if they just would have opened the boxes before they sent them out, they could have avoided a lot of the hassle it caused. To me it seemed they blindly sent them out- I am a third generation retailer, and have done product development as well, and there's nothing more important than making sure everything is ok before sending. I love Yoseka, and frequently buy from them, but this was perplexing to me. All the Home series pens are so beautiful! I myself don't have the budget for them, but this is the one I would have chosen if I could have afforded it. Enjoy this beauty!!
Yeah I did wonder this as well. My guess is they were in a hurry to get them out to everyone. They’ve had two prior Sailor releases and no one really imagined Sailor would mess up this way. But yeah a quick quality check would have saved a lot of heart ache for sure!
All pen,s are pretty & rare but I really like the Golden One
