Thanks for clarifying that. I was wondering if we could reroll the 3rd perk and upgrade legendary named items that dropped at say 690.
that actually makes named items usefull now, cause 90%+ where pretty bad tbh but if you can choose the 3d perk that actually makes them usefull

Is it better to open gypsum cast now or wait for updates?
Can you do this to old named items that drop AFTER season 3? For example, you might not be able to upgrade the Hybris that dropped in season 2 but what if you get it again in season 3?

So, I got a syncretic musket at 620 gs(got it a week ago) , and at the kiln it says that it is going to be 650 after upgrading it, which is far from 700. Are there any news about how high of a gs they need to be in order to become 700?

So for example, i can't upgrade my old Expedition Captain armor set. But if I go get a new Expedition Captain set, which is literally the exact same, i would be able to upgrade it ? Are they freaking kidding us right now ?
how do you get the "Named Item Crafting" tab? When I visit the kiln the tab is not there for me. I am trying to upgrade the "Hero of the hills" war hammer.

Is this on live servers? Cause I can only craft named items using dense materia from expeditions
I heard that the named Item needs to be at least 650. Which means Items from old open world bosses or old non mutated expeditions won't be dropping 650, right? That would be a bummer.
it would be nice to know tbh. The thing is, there are so many powerfull 2 perker Named items in the game rn that this could really be game-changing if it worked for older items as well...batheqets cudgle for example...if this comes with void chain + thwarting strikes u'd only need to put Sundering Shockwave on it to be BiS...i will test this tho when im at home

have you guys figured this out yet? No way they're just throwing out all the old items and making them obsolete right? Like Infernus or Curiosity Greed for Tanks.
@@KingOppTre i've tried to do it with an old gear but it didnt work. Luckily enough they scaled champions gear to be over 650 so you can change the 3rd perk (although u need to get a new one, old ones are on 625).
well what i'm hearing is this..if you get an old item again from a dungeon you can craft it up. SO if I go farm Curiosity Greed or Glowing Life Crystal Staff from mutated Dynasty I can then go to the kiln and up it basically once it's reacquired. Not sure how true that is though..I understand you can CRAFT BiS easily now though if you have the mats but the mats are very time consuming and expensive. I usually only go for BiS for PVE as I teach dungeon mechanics, play with friends who suck at PVP, and gold farm to help new players in Company. SO idc about PVP stuff I just want to be able to use the old gear that imo was BiS for PVE. I will try this today and let all of you know.@@r3load403

You can't upgrade with umbrals in the PTR at all. So if you want to upgrade then do it now.

Will it work for old named gear if we loot it again? Sounds like a waste to all current named gear if they wont be upgradable but i understand if we need to loot it again.
If only they did the Sulfur event AFTER the expansion. I must have gotten about 75 named items from that event so far.

FINALLY... named items are good. Named items should always be better than the generic crafted ones... especially the ones you have to work for and farm

I’m so pissed about this update wow!!! 3000 plus hours and now all that time spent is fing worthless now after the update! Our gear that we have been grinding for years now is just worthless. I’m excited for the new content, but not losing years worth of gaming to this update damn man this sucks!

Serious fk you guys who discredit the work that goes into this game. This MMO is retarded for people who legit worked to get gold- gear- gear sets and skills up. This expansion is a big FK you to those of us who put the time in. This is a casual / quite grab to see if they can pull those people back by hitting reset on everything and gutting almost ever system- oh and here is a run around in a circle side game.

yea question is save for dark mattter (upgrade with shards), or savage it all for trading xp now if your not capped yet. (3 scraps daily limit inc). few options.

This time around it seems like gearing will be quite fast. Especially if you have gold lying around. I want to work for BIS pieces and be excited when one drops.

It’s better because there is less RNG. Deterministic crafting is good different.
