I have just hit 65. Just been a solo player so far, completing all the quests i can in each zone. I was over levelled for most zones as i just level my professions as i go along. Just been in my own world and really enjoy this game. If anyones looking for an extra pair of hands doing some expedition's i am up for it.
Really loving the game right now. Feels like how it did back in the day when new world launched. This time however the end game is refined and actually fun. The new gearing system is way better than the old watermark/gypsum system.
I came back to I never touched it since release maybe 2 hours now I bought the dlc or how some people call it update and I’m in love game feels great currently level 39

I was doing the horse stuff and kept seeing all the good materials people usually farm. IMO right now is a great time for crafters to harvest because no one is doing that.
Had to switch servers cause I'm on the east coast and when I quit I was on the west coast, releveling has been awesome I started playing on Friday and I'm already 22, feels good to be back after 2 years the game feels wayy better now.
Finally reach lvl 65 . Thank you for the video . Everything was just a mess and i was shutting down before and now i have a clear vision of what ima do .

I’d like to just play the game. I get off work and try to get on and there is a queue of over 3000 ppl. I let it sit there a few hours then gotta go to bed because I gotta work in the morning. Got the expansion and now on day 3 where I can’t play. Can’t change servers cuz I gotta log in to do so.
great video thanks! Been playing since beta on and off as a more casual player, but I have friends who are top tier PvPers with over 3000 hours in the game. My perspective can get warped because I'm not into doing wars and I don't have tons of time to play. But boy do I enjoy this game casually now. I'm glad there are multiple ways to get to approximate "BIS" gear without having to use 3 chromatic seals. Also the loot biasing is amazing, I wish every MMO had it
Grind to 65 was far too short imo as a proper expansion it really hasn't felt like that, the zone is too small. I'm glad they have done it and I am happy yo pay given the game has given a lot of free content and updates but I just don't feel like they went far enough.
Confirmed I pulled a 698 Evolutionary Response (legendary bow) out of regular SD last night. Keep in mind my gear score is 687 so I think there is a gear score threshold you must meet to get a 675-700 gear score item to drop. Once your 690+ in all slots you should start to see 695-700 gear score items dropping everywhere you go.
I rather pick gear with the right perks than pick the highest gs. The base damage difference between a 700 vs a 675 isnt very much. With that being said , I was able to get two 698 warhammers for tanking one with Trench Recovery and leech and another with Trench Recovery, Refreshing move, and hatred on a single run of Temp reg.
Try the new influence open world PVP. I'm not even a PVPer and it's SUPER fun. I'm surprised. Definitely group up with your color. It's basically a feeding frenzy on singletons.
Btw the battlepass gives you purple Materia that you can use to craft gear from the Gypsum Kiln. The BP gave me enough for a full set of gear and I was able to hit GS 700 on Day 2 lmaooo

Normal forge and ennead give pretty often around 700 leg. Go do scorpion to get scorpion sting as a relic, i did it once and got the drop and a lil extra ontop of the scorpion cave are 3 mythril nodes for whatever reason they spawn like every 15min. Forge is the fastest anyway, ppl didnt do it cause of the fire and a possibility to fail...now they nerfed all normal dungeons to the ground it seems like they didnt adjust to flail and GS. I'm not done with all the quests but so far, (641/2) just doing quests but the stuff I've gotten for the quests are junk for my ranger overall. Is there a quest that rewards you with a bow?
my msq is bugged so cant do that! the season pass is all over the place some challenges registering others not, xp not awarded etc, im gonna wait a week or two and come back hopefully everything's sorted by then, not a good look for new players to the game

I did reg Laz with my company earlier today and all our epics and legendaries were dropping under 625 when we all have 685-692 GS is there only specific ones that drop the higher gear?

I think you should do more newbie friendly content just after the expansion, I've played launch and then stopped at 60, I have no clue what majority of crafting items are for and how to get them. Your video would be great 6 months from now when only people who will play and know all this stuff will know, but yeah, it would be nice to have a newbie video that explains where to get these materials, how crafting works nowadays etc.
New zone msq was pretty easy in rapier-bow dex 625 gear... lol i still have 625 gear except for the bow u get at the end of msq... I just want the same set, but 700gs, so will be a bit of a wait i guess 😅
I can see why so many people dislike new world. They have over complicated a very large majority of the game for seemingly no reason other to make you grind for one item.
The group requirement is what turned me off of New World. It would’ve been really cool to see challenging expeditions designed for solo play for endgame gear. But then again, it’s an mmo.
I'm new to new world, I'm level 50 , but I opened only two first dungeons, I'm quite far in msq , I'm in level 50 area with level 50 corrupted mobs and I'm dying a lot , I can't even progress msq, so I would like to run higher level dungeons to get better gear , but like I said , I can only see two dungeons on the map yet ...
i honestly didnt get the expansion. i was ready to come back to new world. but unfortunately it sounds like the exact same end game as before. just more grindy to get guranteed gear. nothing really new to collect or no new way to play.

Ikr new world has us all fooled. They have given us a reset and added a mount. In several weeks, after all this farming, we will be back to square one doing the same opr, arena, and expedition

The gypsum is ment to be used only for BIS that was what it was intended for. Anything that guarantees you a BIS item should be harder to obtain because once you get it you won’t ever replace that slot! Not sure why that concept is hard to understand.

Im level 51, before the expansion i was doing the MSQ (main story quest) in Edengrove. After the expansion, i wait in Q for hours just to log in and find that all of my main story quests have disappeared which is preventing me from leveling up effectively and getting end game content. In addition, the game crashes too often to make waiting in Q worth it. @ i got a 3070 ti with 16 GB of ram.......... This is worst than during launch, wtf did i pay 45$ & the season pass for? wish i could refund and forget that i ever gave this a chance again.
@@Syzas13 you seem to not know English. Main story quests give the most xp buddy. Other side quests and skilling won't solve your inability to do late game content because of your lack of a tier 5 azoth staff. Which in case you didn't know, you can only get through the main story quests line

Yo my luck so far lmao ive gotten 4 artifacts all on first drops.. I crated my way 65. Did those 2 dungeons runs and now im 676 gs.. games to easy now. Its quite sad.. new world was a grind . But they really dummbed down the game
60k tokens for 1 seal for 1 upgrade ? 100's of named items.. many worthy of upgrading.. wtf ? so the average player who wont be 250 in everything this week or doesn't spam pvp faction quests for the generous extra tokens :/ they cant upgrade anything really can they ? This all seems in favor of the meta slaves & the same 5 builds to follow again bcos its too expensive to experiment... they say they wanted to widen the build potential but right now i feel my chars have to abandon most plans for various sets & just choose one path to go down.. did anyone on ptr now submit feedback about this stuff ? i played for few days when i can log in & honestly feel like a new low level player again in average junk gear.. i seem to get mostly the right attribute gear but its all the wrong weight so rn it feels like a long bumpy road

Day 3 and still can't play. Marrama has a 6k person 5+ hour queue when I login after work. Guess I'll be waiting to test these scenarios.

The firestaff artifact (I think called inferno) scales with Str and does strike dmg

I crafted to lvl 65 then ran Tempest Heart with 588 gs, I got 670 gs after one run :)

Well you’ve gotten extremely lucky because I’ve ram 3 m1s, about 12 regulars and I’ve had fuck all 😂 every life staff has keen or viscous on it and a fair amount of the time both of them
Yo my luck so far lmao ive gotten 4 artifacts all on first drops.. I crated my way 65. Did those 2 dungeons runs and now im 676 gs.. games to easy now. Its quite sad.. new world was a grind . But they really dummbed down the game

60k tokens for 1 seal for 1 upgrade ? 100's of named items.. many worthy of upgrading.. wtf ? so the average player who wont be 250 in everything this week or doesn't spam pvp faction quests for the generous extra tokens :/ they cant upgrade anything really can they ? This all seems in favor of the meta slaves & the same 5 builds to follow again bcos its too expensive to experiment... they say they wanted to widen the build potential but right now i feel my chars have to abandon most plans for various sets & just choose one path to go down.. did anyone on ptr now submit feedback about this stuff ? i played for few days when i can log in & honestly feel like a new low level player again in average junk gear.. i seem to get mostly the right attribute gear but its all the wrong weight so rn it feels like a long bumpy road
