This!! The whole trilogy is AMAZING. Pain Remains I, II, & III. When the ending cuts off, it goes right into pt. II on the Album. There is a video of all three Videos put together in one video. It flows very nicely.
This trilogy is phenomenal and heartbreaking. Will's vocal talent has no limits, there's nothing he can't do to perfection. Thank you for the reaction.
Also, fun fact, they cut first song in this part "Am I just a ghost just like you, caught between the Seams of two intertwining melodies?" So not only the first pain remais leads into the second song but also the ending/cut of the song represents lyrics
Dark times my man. Dark times. This trilogy is what I listened to constantly after I came off a 36 hour suicide watch. This band and this trilogy helped me through an extremely dark time
@okscribbles9556 I'm sorry to hear that man. I'm 39, I've had 4 friends commit suicide. 2 of them before I was 18 in high-school. There is always something that should stick in your mind. Your stuggles may be over. But at that point everyone around you that loves you stuggles just begin. Probably not my business, but that's what always kept me from doing it, knowing how bad it would destroy everyone that cared about me.
I am 70 years old and I cried. This is a very powerful, emotional song. I love Lorna Shore and Will Ramos. There is no other voice like his and that can do what he can do vocally. Love your videos.
Adam, the guitarist, writes all of the music for their tracks, and he was going through a *really* tough time while writing this album. Every single track is full of his emotions, but I think combined with the lyrics Will came up with for the trilogy they come through clearest here. Will decided to go with a concept for the whole album, that being of a dreamer discovering a fantasy world they have complete power over, but these final 3 tracks are where the dreamer realizes the fantasy has become more real to them than the waking world. But the lyrics also work superbly to tell the story shown in the music videos, of dealing with loss and grief and everything that comes with it. These three tracks, in my opinion, surpass just good music and have transcended into sublime art. I haven't seen or met a single person (who can stand metal) who doesn't get destroyed by these songs. I've been binging them for the last couple weeks, my grandfather had a stroke and in all honesty isn't going to recover, and my dad died of cancer several years ago and those emotions have all come back. Lorna Shore's music helps me find catharsis in an f-ed up time.
In the first 31 years of my life, I never thought I'd be saying things like this... but 2 years ago their 3 song ep came out... and it blew my mind. During 2019-2022 I lost so many people (only a couple to covid), 4 to cancer, (and my partner being diagnosed with cancer) that meant so much to me, that I didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye to. These songs are so incredibly important to me This trilogy is so beautiful. It's something that I cannot finish with dry eyes. Either of the 3. It's nice that I've found something other than avengers endgame, that can give me a good guaranteed cathartic cry
I have listened to this song over 100 times and still, when he says “The face behind, the silhouette, in this world I made to be infinite, but within the expanse, I finally see, a life without you isn’t meant to be” makes me ball my eyes out every time. You can hear the pain and emotion in his voice and the lyrics hit heavy. Amazing song this.
Listen to all 3 parts together and it just destroys you. I'm a teary eyed wreck every time I hear it. If you want to learn more about will and his singing techniques, go look at 'the charasmatic voice'. Elizabeth is a good friend of his.
The Vocal , symphonic elements, guitar solo, and all of instruments in this song is absolutely Masterpiece. And this is why i fallin' in love with deathcore especially Lorna Shore. This band isn't about extremely heavy but Lorna giving the beautiful of symphonic melody. By the way nice reaction Ray love it❤
The songs ending quickly like that was to symbolize how quickly a loved one is here with us, then suddenly not. But it blends into the next song, as does the 3rd. It's a brilliantly done tragic journey.
Will Ramos is so unique now that he is in a voice tutorial book and his throat is scoped. The operation throat camera on the Charismatic voice started the hysteria. He also has some other amazing skills in singing 🎶 Btw he sounds the same live as on this and the one takes of many other LS songs. He has done 2 insane Sleep Token covers btw.
Also believe that he does it all in fry scream he just uses his mouth shape and tongue position to modify the sound and pitch so to speak even tho it doesn't really change the pitch
@rysirion_9102 they are correct actually, most of the pitch and tonality in a scream does come from mouth and tongue shape/placement, trying to alter the pitch coming from the vocal cords themselves is 1. very hard and 2. potentially very dangerous for your voice if done wrong
About Will Ramos' voice. See vocal coach Elizabeth on her Charismatic Voice channel when she took Will to a vocal institute and put a camera down his throat to film how he created his vocals.
This song tears me to shreds every time I hear it. Life is never promised. Its finite. There is an end to it. And its never easy to say goodbye. Absolute masterpiece of a song.
It's crazy to me that we live in a world that has both Lorna Shore and Ren at the same time. I cannot tell you how many people have cried during their reaction to this song and the subsequent 2 other songs that make up the trilogy. It's a hard listen but so authentic and honest. We are blessed to have music like this in our lives. I've watched people that not only don't like or understand aggressive metal vibe with this and break completely down. These guys are special.
My humble brag is that I used to play local shows from 2011-2013 in NJ with Lorna Shore when Tom was still their vocalist and also with Will's old band. They've always been a cut above the rest.
So glad you started this journey! I have listened to this song dozens of times and I still tear up every time. Part 2 is excellent too, but part 3 is absolutely brutal (and my favorite of the 3). Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the trilogy!
this is by far the GOAT reaction video of this song imho! because she read the lyrics which makes the reaction more sincere. pardon my english right there, but thankyou for the vid!
My current favorite band This trio of songs is truly powerful filled with emotions i tears up all the time I hear it I experienced watching someone very close to be pass away in my hands…
This song means so mucj to me. I recently lost my grandfather. A few years back I lost my dad as well and these songs helped with being able to find some release. The way the orchestra melds with the track, at the end along with the vocals when Will says "where do you go when I close my eyes? What do you see looking back at me?" Broke me daring my first listen. The choruses expression so much pain in it's self is like saying I want to see you, but it'll never happen, just hurts
Every time I hear those incredibly fast and intense verses, I can’t help but tear up. The repeating melody is so haunting, and then you have the band just playing furiously on top of it with Will screaming with such raw emotion. The pain is palpable.
Dir en grey - Vinushka live from Androgynous Please react to this one lots of people are blown away. Singer has immense range (arguably the widest in music) and the song is a very powerful/emotional journey. He has a lot of screaming techniques that only he uses and singing styles I haven't heard from other metal bands. They have no genre and every song is different.
The first time I hear this song I got goosebumps all over my body. Here I am, probably hundreds of listens later, and I still get the same feeling. This makes me think of my wife and how fortunate I am to have her and just how quickly it could be taken away. I love her.
Saw them 3 weeks ago on the main stage of Download Festival absolutely amazing and they finished the set with the trilogy. The band band were awesome. Good reaction to this cant wait for the rest.
This song is so amazing. There are not many songs who mangage to transport so much emotions. Rage, sadness, grief, desperation...i feel it all. Its the only song which makes me always tear up
That was the first part of the Trilogy, to learn about the full story behind it you need to see the other two parts, watch them even if you don’t react to them but get your tissues out, they will be needed 😢
You really should have done all 3 parts at once. The Trilogy is a masterpiece of modern art and the lyrics are poetry. Part one, like the life of a loved one, ends abruptly and without warning.
As much as I want to see part 2 and 3 to this - I also would like to recommend something entirely different in some ways, and similar in others: "Lyfjaberg by Wardruna". I would love to see your reaction to this!
So the abrupt ending signifies how fast a life can be lost, another thing about what Will loves about doing his music is that it's more of an orchestrate!
5:41 The best way I could describe that scream is that is what a soul dying sounds like. When the will to live was lost. This entire trilogy is a masterpiece. Not just for deathcore. For Music. I've probably listened to them at least 50 times already, and I still tear up every single time. Beautiful.
You gotta listen to all 3 together, I have all 3 in a special place of my favs in order so I can just play the first and join the massive rollercoaster of emotions
I highly recommend listening to the other 2 parts. Part 2 is After all I've Done, I'll Disappear, Part 3 is In a Sea of Fire.....absolutely outstanding songs!!
Ive been in the same conditions, 8 years since then. Its not hurt, but to feel your lung suddenly full into the air when your head messed up all ur memories with her thats hurt so much.
I like to learn all the crazy metal vocals I hear and after almost a year of trying I'm almost getting the falsetto highs but I really think the people that nail it that high just have the anatomy for it and that can't be taught. You really have to find the note and resonance together as a whisper then fish around for some part of flesh/fold that you can 'gargle' to create the noise, sometimes that supporting noise is fry and sometimes it's false cord and it takes a lot of playing around to figure out what works for you. Once you really get it and practice I find the best way to commit tones to memory is to memorize where you feel the vibration in your throat and/or mouth and once you do that its just like touching those spots with sound. Oppose to singing where it feels like the notes are leaving your mouth you're creating them internally.
If you wanna hear a Lorna Shore feature on a non deathcore track Anabolic Spudsman (Thique Edition) by Bilmuri might be the only example that currently exists. It's one of the weirdest musical pairings I've ever heard and unironically one of my favorite songs.
You'd probably really enjoy some of the videos that the Charismatic Voice YT channel has done with Will Ramos, the singer of the band! They went and did a bunch of vocal analysis with a camera down his throat while he was doing various kinds of vocals, then they kind of just became friends and now have some great videos together haha.
I seen them play this live it was amazing they are the best deathcore band in the game in my opinion they have range the drums are crazy Adam and Andrew on the guitar Mook on the base and will vocals are just next level he literally can do it all Definitely gotta do the other 2 parts of this And maybe into the earth or to the hell fire
fucking goddamnit... I must have watched 50 reactions to this, no cap. and yet, still, every bloody time... every time without fail as soon as he gets to "but within the expanse I finally see" I need to start wiping my cheeks for some mysterious reason.
Its a 3 song series, you definitely need to do the other 2.
This!! The whole trilogy is AMAZING. Pain Remains I, II, & III. When the ending cuts off, it goes right into pt. II on the Album. There is a video of all three Videos put together in one video. It flows very nicely.
Yesssssssss^^^^^^^^^^
Part 1 is really the best part.
@Hans-Fritz Hunt II ι 😅
This trilogy is phenomenal and heartbreaking. Will's vocal talent has no limits, there's nothing he can't do to perfection. Thank you for the reaction.
This trilogy is not only heavy but heartbreaking all at once.
It leads right into part 2, then into part 3. It's definitely a tear jerker by the end.
Also, fun fact, they cut first song in this part
"Am I just a ghost just like you, caught between the
Seams of two intertwining melodies?"

sounds like inception
If I'm not mistaken, Adam also writes the lyrics.
@@einherjar3095 Will writes the lyrics, but Adam wrote the screenplay for the music videos.
@@skinnyergsinspired by manga/anime pre-Inception, but the comparison can work re: the “architect” as a god/creator
i read your comment and just wanna send you a big hug, and hope the music keeps bringing you some peace of mind whenever you need it ♥

their little series of videos is amazing!
I absolutely love watching peoples first reactions to Lorna Shore. The mix of Will’s voice and Adam’s amazing guitar playing. It’s just amazing.
The Vocal , symphonic elements, guitar solo, and all of instruments in this song is absolutely Masterpiece. And this is why i fallin' in love with deathcore especially Lorna Shore. This band isn't about extremely heavy but Lorna giving the beautiful of symphonic melody.
By the way nice reaction Ray love it❤
I'm 49 years old, heavy tattooed, metalhead and I cry like a baby when I listen this songs(the trilogy).
I’m also a 38 yo heavy tattooed metal head and this song just hits different 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Agreed. I did the same after hear thats trilogy. My tear goes falling down
43 year old 6’3 330 lbs crying like a baby here haha
Im the same fella I cry like a fuckin baby
The songs ending quickly like that was to symbolize how quickly a loved one is here with us, then suddenly not. But it blends into the next song, as does the 3rd. It's a brilliantly done tragic journey.
If you wanna see how Will does his vocals, on the Charismatic Voice, they put a camera down to his throat. It's pretty cool.

You'd really love Will's one-take vocal performances as well. Dude is so talented and sounds completely identical live as he does on record.
About Will Ramos' voice. See vocal coach Elizabeth on her Charismatic Voice channel when she took Will to a vocal institute and put a camera down his throat to film how he created his vocals.
This band is one of my daily listens, love this band
Part 2 is definitely my favorite of the trilogy, but this paints the picture so beautifully. It's heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.
same here i would def rank the trilogy 2 by far the best then 1 then 3 but i think most normal music listeners would think this first part is best:))
Most people dislike 2 the most. But it's my favorite too. The raw power and straight anger in the song really gets me
This song tears me to shreds every time I hear it. Life is never promised. Its finite. There is an end to it. And its never easy to say goodbye. Absolute masterpiece of a song.
This is a 3 song masterpiece! It’s completely amazing how they’ve composed this!
Still finding reactions to this song, still getting massive shivers every listen
This is my favorite song of theirs. I cry every time the ending comes up. Also the abrupt ending is because it transitions into part two
It's crazy to me that we live in a world that has both Lorna Shore and Ren at the same time. This song has wrecked EVERYBODY... myself included. It's so good.
My humble brag is that I used to play local shows from 2011-2013 in NJ with Lorna Shore when Tom was still their vocalist and also with Will's old band. They've always been a cut above the rest.
This song trilogy will never not make me cry😭😭😭It's phenomenal!!! Great reaction too
Saw them in concert back in April and they sound the exact same live!! Great reaction
It's a 3 part series, listen to them all. It will make you understand a whole new definition of pain.
You should absolutely react to their song "to the hellfire" the Will Ramos one take vocals... Or even the original... Or both 🤙 haha
So glad you started this journey! I have listened to this song dozens of times and I still tear up every time. Part 2 is excellent too, but part 3 is absolutely brutal (and my favorite of the 3). Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the trilogy!

Oh you have to do parts 2 and 3. This song never fails to make me cry. It's just beautiful
Rayactions ❤
Will is such a talented vocalist. And an even cooler dude.
Every time you said "Lorna Shore" with your southern accent, it just made me smile. I love it.
Don't know how you kept it together for this video. I cried lol. What a beautifully heavy song. 😢
Every time I hear those incredibly fast and intense verses, I can’t help but tear up. The repeating melody is so haunting, and then you have the band just playing furiously on top of it with Will screaming with such raw emotion. The pain is palpable.
This is diving in the deep end of the Olympic pool with this Lorna shore track
Pain Remains is essentially 1 track, that flows through 3 different songs, but is still 1 song at the end
Well now you gotta do part 2 and 3.
Those facial reactions, pure gold! Keep it up :)
Dir en grey - Vinushka live from Androgynous

I absolutely adore your reactions . They’re so fun to watch and you can see how tranced into it you get I especially love your Avenged Sevenfold ones.
This trilogy is so brilliant, but also so powerfully sad that I can't watch/listen it very often.
Same here... 😢
Love your reactions a lot ❤
You'll be devastated by Part II and III in a good way, if you do us the favor of reacting to them!!
If you do all three parts at once, you may need some grief counseling.
The trilogy of ages! Looking forward to this!!
I never thought a deathcore song would make me cry. I was wrong. 😆
Can't wait for the Sleep Token reaction!
now it's time for part 2 and 3, catch your tissues up
The first time I hear this song I got goosebumps all over my body. Here I am, probably hundreds of listens later, and I still get the same feeling. This makes me think of my wife and how fortunate I am to have her and just how quickly it could be taken away. I love her.
Rachel great job with your reaction to the video and song Pain Remains from Lorne Shore.
this is the cutest reaction i've ever seen. it's obvious that her mind is frying and Will Ramos' vocals is the frying pan HAHAHAHHAHA
Talking about grief. Lost my grandpa the 19th. But he had been sick for about a year. I never really felt sad. Just relieved that he finally got peace
Ugh you haaaaveee to do the other two songs it tells such a beautiful story
Saw them 3 weeks ago on the main stage of Download Festival absolutely amazing and they finished the set with the trilogy. The band band were awesome.
Good reaction to this cant wait for the rest.
That song is fabulous, my favorite of theirs
This song is so amazing. There are not many songs who mangage to transport so much emotions. Rage, sadness, grief, desperation...i feel it all. Its the only song which makes me always tear up
I’ve seen this video 10000x and still cry. Not sure how you got through it
Ive waiting and hoping youd get to lorna shore. Ill subscribe cuz i like your reactions and i dont want to miss this one!
Great song and reaction and it's a trilogy so need part 2 and 3 please
That was the first part of the Trilogy, to learn about the full story behind it you need to see the other two parts, watch them even if you don’t react to them but get your tissues out, they will be needed 😢
I can't wait to watch you react to the other two parts of this three part series. ^^
You really should have done all 3 parts at once. The Trilogy is a masterpiece of modern art and the lyrics are poetry. Part one, like the life of a loved one, ends abruptly and without warning.
Love the hair, almost Luna looking, but yes plz do the other two parts
Will(the vocalist) did a phenomenal cover of sleep token. Would be great to check out and get a better idea of his amazing vocal abilities
I’m old 47 never heard of death core music but you smile had me listen Take me back to 70s with no Audio tuning but make there money
As much as I want to see part 2 and 3 to this - I also would like to recommend something entirely different in some ways, and similar in others: "Lyfjaberg by Wardruna". I would love to see your reaction to this!
I agree, Heilung is also worth listening too
Will screams are insane. When you get OK with that, hear him clean sing...OMFG.
Gotta do the entire trilogy. It’s a masterpiece 🔥
Please do the other 2 parts
They all blend seamlessly when listening back to back
Your charisma is insane, Ms ^_^
Expression at 1:50
VS
Expression at 9:18
You can just see it in your eyes, that the song touched the soul.
So the abrupt ending signifies how fast a life can be lost, another thing about what Will loves about doing his music is that it's more of an orchestrate!
4 time watching this music video and I’m in tears 🥲
5:41 The best way I could describe that scream is that is what a soul dying sounds like. When the will to live was lost.
This entire trilogy is a masterpiece. Not just for deathcore. For Music. I've probably listened to them at least 50 times already, and I still tear up every single time. Beautiful.
You gotta listen to all 3 together, I have all 3 in a special place of my favs in order so I can just play the first and join the massive rollercoaster of emotions
We need part 2 and 3 ASAP
She's shocked 😂😂😂
We're dancing like flames, flickering in the night
We sway in time with the wind before melting away
Ahhhhh
I highly recommend listening to the other 2 parts. Part 2 is After all I've Done, I'll Disappear, Part 3 is In a Sea of Fire.....absolutely outstanding songs!!
Wait this only came out a day ago? I need to see you react to the whole thing. Damn.
Lorna Shore is one of my top fav bands🤘
the end of the song makes me cry every time and yearn for a Will Ramos screamo style album.. maybe one day if we're lucky
dont... you... dare...
Absolutely loving the videos!! Still waiting for A7X Fiction!
This trilogy is amazing! Highly recommend reacting to the other two. The second takes over right where the first cuts off
Ive been in the same conditions, 8 years since then. Its not hurt, but to feel your lung suddenly full into the air when your head messed up all ur memories with her thats hurt so much.

To The Hellfire pleasssee
And I also recommend Darko us - Dragon Chaser
that part where he says "a world without you, isn't meant for me" still haunts me

Finally Lorna yeeee ❤️❤️❤️
Each part leads seamlessly into the next
fucking goddamnit... I must have watched 50 reactions to this, no cap. and yet, still, every bloody time... every time without fail as soon as he gets to "but within the expanse I finally see" I need to start wiping my cheeks for some mysterious reason.
This song hits me hard because I watched me wife's go through cancer for 4 years and then passed away love all the parts to the song
this is a MASTERPIECE album ever 🖤
