  • This is one session from the afternoon. Remarkable how much grip this track has even when wet.Our track day fan club was also out in force despite the weather. I thank you all for your support and the donuts.
Working conditions: Kawasaki ZX6-R, Bridgestone S22 tyres, M4 muffler.

I love the title of the video. This was a great day. I know it sucked to have so much rain but it may be a blessing in disguise if we can simply look at how much was learned. I probably learned more on this track day than any single day I'd been out there before.
I also learned that it's great to park on the black top during a downpour instead of the grass. It's even better if you park next to somebody that has an enclosed trailer, donuts, and awesome fan club! Thanks again for all the help. Looking forward to the next one.
The camera facing you is a great addition. That GoPro9 certainly shoots some smooth video. I should look into getting one to face me later in the year just so I can see where I can improve on moving around. I'd also be curious to see how (sloppy) my throttle hand is at times.

I agree with your assessment. We had a really nice setup. I think the weather helped settle things down on track so we could just be smooth and work on technique without over driving. I really felt confident in my tires. Aside from being a little wet and cold, I was pretty comfortable and relaxed. A good place to start the season.
The 9 has good stabilization and cancels a lot of wind noise well. Gotta get that sweet exhaust note, right? Have to thank my biggest fan for getting me that. I had seen vids like that and wanted to know how bad I look. Next I want to try clamping one to the frame slider.
