Due to how oblivious the average player is, just use the Scottish Resistance or the Quickie (both better than stock in this instance) and just defender battlements. If an enemy sniper appears on their side, it's a non issue because the amount of stickies. I've done this a ton and it works depressingly well.
Maybe they were launching full charge stickies for a consistent landing spot, and the quickie launched them too far to be able to ark them over the wall? Thats just my guess
