@@danny_and_diggy yeah we got a private twin room for around £25,the family that own it were brilliant,so nice and helpful, would definitely go back there.
The Thai people are so lovely bless the lady for calling her daughter! Wow Khao sok looks beautiful can’t wait to go here! Yes diggy I get bitten by anything and everything all the time even in Europe. James doesn’t get bitten like Danny but really complains if he gets bitten once 🤣 you’ll need to send me a pic of the bug spray so I know which one to buy when we’re there! Really love the look of the chilled laid back feel of Khao Sok, can’t wait to see more 😍
This brought back memories for me. My first trip to Thailand about 20 years ago was a tour and I spent a few days in a tree house in Khao Sok 😜. It was so noisy at night with all the wildlife coming alive 😂😂😂. I could hardly sleep. There were things scurrying over the tin roof of the tree house 🤔. I don't do insects and snakes so kept well out of the jungle 😅. I also get bitten to death with mossies ☹ Looking forward to seeing the rest of your stay.
Mosquitoes are attracted to black, as well as dark and bright colors. Since black is the darkest “color,” this shade will attract flying insects. However, other dark and bright tones will also attract mosquitoes. Wearing long-sleeved, light-colored clothing is a good start. Also, mosquitoes aren't strong fliers, which means fans can blow them away.
Oh thats a good tip Anurak 😉👍 thank you. I will have to invest in some light clothing 😉 I also usually sit by the fan as I know they won't fly in a wind 😁 Do you get bitten?
@@danny_and_diggy In the tropics, you have to come to terms with mosquitoes. I was bitten as a child because my family were gardeners near water sources. Until moving to a condominium in Bangkok. Didn't find mosquitoes because it's on a high floor but found a cockroach.
