The reason why Jean shot the thunder spear not-like him is because of his experience of greatly regretting blocking Hange killing Reiner in 3x18.
However, he couldn't completely kill his feelings and hesitated for a moment, and that short moment created time to create steam to push away Jean's thunder spear.

And Jeans hesitation forced Armin to save him and therefore kill the girl in the cart when they tried to rescue Eren back in season 3 part 1

What i like about this episode is how we saw Magath (the Marleyan captian) being worried for Falco. Even though he's Marleyan and Falco is Eldian, he grew to actually like these kids and care for them, and not only view them as "spawns of the devil". I guess that's the first act of goodness we see from a Marleyan xD
Magat, in the previous episode, questioned Willy's plan because many innocent residents from the ghetto could have died. Panzer Units loved the Pieck. The Marley guards were worried about Gabby during the attack. There are many good Marleyans.

I like how Armin always wanted to see the ocean and here he first appears in S4 as a force of death and destruction from the ocean.
The look on his face just spells remorse and regret for what he's about to do. Looking in the sailors' faces as he's about to disintegrate them.

I heard the blu-ray is very expensive... (tsk I don't even have a blu ray player). Where can I download or watch the BR version? Desperately looking, but can't find anything. I'm a big fan of the fixes. Eren's and Mikasa's face turned better. The movement when Jean fires his thunder spear at Falco looks crisp!
@@donovan2723 apparently the official US release of the blu ray will be in February, and that will be considerably cheaper than the Japanese one. I was hoping to buy and watch it before Part 2, but oh well.

In Anime, there is a scene in which Eren falls down as a slender titan during hardening ability experiment in 3x1.
However, there are some details in "Manga" deleted from Anime.
In 3x1, the experiment of Eren's hardening ability failed, but the Scout further found out about Eren.
That is the number of times Eren can turn into the titan in a row.
Hange found out that Eren could create a proper titan twice in a row, and that the third was no longer 15m class and could not move the titan body properly.
That's right. The slender titan from Anime 3x1 is what he looked like when he turn into thr titan for the third time in a row.

In s2 he became antagonist

They probably missed the part where Eren noticed Jaw Titan's claws were able to damage the Crystal of the Warhammer Titan when he used it to block. Which is why they were surprised why Eren thought to used the nutcracker.
This was the episode that convinced me that both sides are just tragic. Its a gray zone and i cannot choose between one of them. What a show.
Yup. The getting-to-know-the-enemies episodes in the beginning of the season had the purpose to slowly make you shift sides, but stay right smack in the middle. Amazing story.

From Armin's transformation all the way up to Pieck crashing down is one of the craziest sequences on Attack on Titan.
I feel bad for Pieck, you can tell she had a close bond with her gunners
The last time we saw Armin he was on one side of the sea, rejoicing in life and full of hope. And then he reappeared the other side of the sea, looking sad and remorseful, a bringer of death and destruction.
Reiner has become a real mvp. He's one of my favourites for sure.

I love this episode. Zeke's epic entrance, Galliard getting fucked, Eren doing the impossible and consuming ANOTHER titan in the most brutal way possible, Armin's badass entrance and new Titan form finally being seen... So much going on. This is definitely one of my favorites of this season 🤘 Hold on to your seats guys it only gets more intense from here if you can believe that 😂
20:30 - Actually, Grisha did the exact same thing before. He was already the Attack Titan when he ate Freida who was the Founding Titan (you could even see him absorbing its powers when his eyes changed color). He had the Attack + Founding when he passed it onto Eren, hence Eren also got both right away.

Yeah... they intentionally make Attack titan eyes glowing green light while Founding titan eyes glowing purple light, but not the rest of the 9 Titans, so that we can differentiate which titan power is activating for since this two titan power has been in same person body since season 1 from Grisha to Eren.
I’ve watched this reaction like three times already lol. The way you guys looked at each other when the music kicked in after Armin’s nuke was just fucking perfect.

I don't know if you guys missed it but before Eren used the Jaw to nutcrack he first defended against the jaw titan with the help of the warhammertitan cocoon and saw that it scratched it, which is where he got the idea from.
if you guys remember, last episode they said they were going to have 30,000 soldiers from the navy come as their back up and that was armins job to take them out so that they cant back them up and so they cant cross the ocean quickly for a counterattack. ofc he inevitabely ended up killing a bunch of innocent civillians unfortunately

AOT is great through season 1 to 4, but man from season 3 part 2 up until the very end, shit gets so fucking wild. Masterpiece!

I like how you guys paying so much attention to music in this season and how magnificent it is , and what makes it so amazing is that every music fits each scene , in episode 5 and 6 the whole episodes they were going from one music to another
Armin is the only one of the our crew who entered by sea. The boy who just wanted to see the sea has now the highest kill count on this show. Isayama what a way to crush someone's lifelong dream. The Screams of Gabi and Falco was heart wrenching. Porco,the person who was confident on himself was just being used a tool to kill someone without his consent. That has to be one of the most brutal and savage scenes in anime history.

I love the little moments in this reaction. Like before Sasha popped up to kill that guy in Pieck Squad Austin gave Shane a look like “there’s yo boo thang.” And after Armin’s nuke, Austin looks down at his arm as if to see he has mad chills and goosebumps.
When your enjoying the absolute annihilation and start feeling bad when they start screaming Reiner, you know its a good episode, also eren doesn’t have to eat a titan to take its power, just digest the spinal fluid.

Yes, Eren did eat the Warhammer. It worked. His eyes gave that away. He does have three titans now. The Attack Titan, the Founding Titan, and now the Warhammer Titan
Isayama said that Reiner is the main protagonist on the other side. That still gives me chills and make sense when you think about it.

Not sure if it was explained but Marley was going to launch an immediate counter attack to the island while they were in Liberio in response to the raid. The island would have been even more undermanned since the two titans are off the island, it was a strategic move that stopped am immediate invasion and future ones from the port for the foreseeable future. Now whether that justifies the massive civilian casualties….

I was really excited for your reaction to this episode because it has two of my favorite scenes of the whole show: Armin transforming and Eren eating the Warhammer Titan.
Both shots made me completely shocked and emotional (especially the first one, I was really missing Armin in this season lol), so I knew you would like it.
To inherit a titan all you have to consume is the spinal fluid of the predecessor that's why the whole body is not necessary to eat.

Love that you guys have slightly different viewpoints on this war. It's so refreshing to see someone try to see it from both sides.
To me I felt worse for the Marley soldiers/warriors in this instance because it's pretty obvious at this point that this was Eren's plan and the scouts got dragged into it. Outside of Reiner, everyone in Marley had nothing directly to do with what happened in Season 1 to "our" Eldians yet they still have to pay/die for it.

In the last scene, Reiner kinda just half transformed, hence why he has almost no armor Showing, as you guys thought. It's kind of symbolic: that Reiner's form is more human looking showing his humanity while Eren's form looks more monstrous since he's losing his humanity. Reiner had to gain his humanity to help protect his allies while Eren had to let go of his humanity to keep moving forward.

People getting so hyped for Armin as the colossal titan and brushing off his kill count and just says he’s innocent and sad about it. So easily forgiven, unlike the other colossal titan. Eren using jaw titan to crack crystal was so savage, even Mikasa was flinching. This seems like a win for the scouts, but this was going against their morals and principles.
Man watching the Panzer unit get completely annihilated makes me cry every time, even if it was Sasha and Jean who wiped them out 😭

I like the nutcracker scene because it show visually ,Eren's state of mind, show the cruel,savage,brutal, dark mind . Similar to joker dance bathroom scene.
It was actually mentioned in season 3 by Armin that in their experiments by Hange with Eren, Eren was able to consecutively turn into a titan 3x. But the titan gets weaker and smaller. And yeah, the four years of training also made Eren stronger.
