I'm a watch lover so yes it does have an excellent price point love it. Disappointed that I can't answer cell phone or make outgoing calls. My $9.99 smart watch did that.
Love my Versa 2! A definite improvement from the original. Hundreds of cool watch faces, great tracking, and a reasonable price point. I got mine on sale on Amazon for $150 and it arrived in 24 hours. Hopefully the battery lifespan gives me a couple of years with it. That’s my one gripe with Fitbit. 18 months or so is about the limit before they die forever. My original Versa just died last week at just under one year. Luckily it was a prize I won!
Purchased my Versa 2 in 9/2019 and it completely died yesterday (8/4/20). I absolutely loved this product but I'm disappointed that it didn't even last one year. I purchased it because I loved its features (still do). I'll need to decide to buy a new one or get a different product. I read many reviews stating the V2 died in under a year but I guess I thought the bugs had been worked out! 😒

Got the Fitbit charge 3 as my first foray into smart/fitness watches..thought I would love it for small footprint and simplicity but ended up returning it as was just too blah. I think versa 2 will be the right choice. Thanks for the great info!
Update: had the versa 2 for about a week and really like it. One caveat, the small band was a bit too small and the large band was too long. Ended up cutting the large band a couple links shorter with scissors and while not a perfect finish not really noticeable. Heart rate monitor is pretty good and one major reason for getting watch. Fyi tried always on display and got about 24 batt life. Turned off always on because I prefer not charging but every few days.
Got the Versa 2 a few days ago, first day there was all kinds of problems receiving notifications and calls (I'm on Galaxy S9). Sorted that out, now I'm on day 3 of wearing it, no sleep tracking and no exercising, and it's down to almost 10% battery... So much for long battery life!! That was the main feature that made me buy the watch... Will see how it goes but pretty disappointing...
@@URTechInsight actually K figured out that the problem is - hopefully it'll help someone else as well - in the app there's an option for all day sync, it's a continuous sync - as soon as I turned it off the battery life sky rocketed! I'm on day 3 and it's down to 60% so yeah I'm much happier now!!
Morrigan ..same here called Customer support to troubleshot they sent me a new watch. And it still did not work such messages...major disappointment. . I paid $249 a couple more dollars I sold gave gotten a Samsung Gear it Tic
I got mine mostly to track my swimming. As near as I can tell, it does not track heart rate at all. It only tracks high cardio laps, not my kicking laps. It doesn't track calories on my kicking laps. The only thing I can see on the screen when swimming it my time. I might give it a 1 on the 10 point scale. Does a good job on the bike and hike. Don't run at all, and never have it on other than during exercise.
Does anyone know why the Versa 2 charging base is poorly designed compared to the Versa? It won't even sit flat on a surface because they've moved the cable from the back (V1) to being underneath unit (V2) 😢 😭

Great video... But I do NOT recommend a fitbit versa... I constantly have trouble with syncing and receiving notifications.. I've watched almost all the vids I can find to fix this problem I even upgraded to a versa 2.. Still not working. Really disappointed
I disagree with the fitbits tracking abilities, since it doesn’t have gps the step and distance tracking is incredibly inaccurate, and can be over 6,000 steps off.
I have a unresponsive touch screen on my versa 2 now and only had it since December. Many people have this issue and there have been no resolutions to this issue from fitbit or anywhere else online. Tbh I am very disappointed with the product, its become a broken expense as I'm now back to my old watch.
Anthony Moore Dude, if you call customer support, they can replace your device. It happened to my as well, but it can happen with any product on the market 😅

I got my versa 2 in December but now it's having display issues where the screen refuses to work at most times and most of the time the watch refuses to turn on. And when it does turn on it will just repeat from on and off multiple times.

Fitbit 2 is just basic device that keep track of your heart rate, sleep hours and steps only. I just bought one for heart rate especially. Don’t expect too much from it and it should be less than $100

It is but to receive text notification on your watch your Fitbit app must be open on your phone in the background same goes with using Alexa the app needs to be open still a good watch tho definitely worth.
My Fitbit Versa bricked. It got replaced by Fitbit twice and same thing. I don't trust them because they have not fixed their problem. Sorry,but I find it very hard to trust and I seriously don't see anything Google has done to improve the quality of the fitness watch

The thing bugs me a lot with the versa 2 is that the watch turns off too quickly and sometimes the lock doesn’t work. Please give me feedback how to fix it :/

I have a question, what is the quality like? I had my blaze for less than a year fitbit replaced it but after about 8 or 9 months it stopped holding a charge and wold randomly unsync from my phone. Have you noticed any issues in this regard?
The only difference is the special edition strap (plus the standard one also included) and 3 months free Fitbit premium. This time round both units have Fitbit Pay.
Hi, just got my versa 2. I just noticed the left button is not that clicky? I mean like not that clicky like in iphone you can hear a click sound when you press it. Is that normal or should I ask for replacement? Hope you can see. Tyia
@@corlissyamasaki3476 I have a pixel 3 and leaving the fitbit app open was the only way I was able to receive text notification on my way watch same way to access Alex they want you to leave there app open unfortunately.
there should not be anything to that other than just leaving it on the changer if it's not charging check the charger itself, and then watch where the charger makes a connection to make sure nothing is blocking it. If those are good then it may be busted
Has any one had trouble with the versa 2 with Samsung 10 phone is it compatible. Does photo of the person show when receiving messages or when answer ing call
I have had this fitbit (I have an iphone se) for 3 days and I have had problems, the first day, it wouldnt sync to my phone, I followed all the troubleshooting steps and none of them helped until i did a factory reset on the watch. the second day, it wouldnt sync again, but worked after i deleted the app off my phone and redownloaded it. Today, the watch did sync properly, but the apps, spotify and uber, signed me out and stopped working am I cannot get spotify to reconnect even after logging in in the app on my phone again. Also yesterday I wore it al day and by the end of the day the pedometer said i was at almost 14,000 steps, while my iphone said I was just over 7,000, and i had both of them with me the entire day. I have noticed the fitbit added about 500 steps while I was sleeping (in a bed, not walking around) and about 50 while i was sitting on a chair with my arm resting on a counter (also not moving at all). I dont know why it adds so many steps unprompted, or why it is so far off from my phone step counter, but this is what I have notcied in the first 3 days

This watch tracks driving as exercise. I'll have 5-8000 more steps then my phone's tracking. I just use it for the heat rate tracking. I don't even think it's tracking it for real though. It says my heart rate is 90 beats per minute resting. Get a real smart watch like a galaxy or Apple watch ( if you're an iPhone peasant)

And this video would’ve been awesome if there was more b-roll shots, different kind of straps, functionality, how it looks on a wrist and close up shots of the watch with a voiceover. I have the note 10 and was able to connect with no issues, I did have a problem with the notifications coming to the watch from the phone but that was about it
I just got my versa 2 today and I couldnt pair it at first with my samsung near by. Once I turned my samsung active off I had no issues pairing with my note 10+. Notifications are working well also.
I had the original versa and the blaze. It's always a struggle to connect them. FitBit has a chat service, they guided me through the steps and I was able to connect them easy. Once connected, always connected.
I picked one up to try with my girlfriend and initially liked it but found some issues. It ghost counts steps while driving, a lot, which turned out to be a dealbreaker for me. I drive a fair amount for work and noticed it rack up hundreds of steps in bursts. Ended up around 3k over a galaxy watch active I picked up to compare. Seemed to be a common issue once I started doing some digging, and it didn't seem like it was going to get fixed any time soon. The heartrate tracker was good, compared to the galaxy watch which can be spotty when I'm at the gym. I wore both for a workout and the fitbit was pretty accurate to a elliptical that also measures heart rate vs the galaxy watch seemed to be a bit low on average. I ended up returning the versa 2 since it didn't really perform other smart watch features and the ghost tracking. I also returned the galaxy active 1 because the battery life was not good, and it was also missing some features that released on the active 2. I then went down the rabbit hole and picked up a galaxy watch to see if having a full feature watch with better battery life is worth the upcost. So far I like it, but I'm still lingering on the fact that it's double the cost of the versa 2 and I'm not sure it is twice as good.
It will pair just fine with just about any phone, but some features may not work the way it should. If you don't see your device on that compatibility list I would suggest just asking the question on Fitbit's website they should be able to answer for sure
Sending mine back. Can’t get text messages for my iPhoneX. Tried All the tips. Should be that hard. I liked it but that is a deal killer. Very disappointing.

Receive text notification for WhatsApp! Only if the besels were smaller, it would've killed as being in the minimalist design as well! 🤭😁
Music still not compatable Wallet for Contactless payment still not available Issues with GPS and showing your route. Issues with over calculating your calorie counter amd it's accuracy. Overall for 200 pounds iam disappointed.

Before you buy a fitbit read their own forums. People are outraged at the time they are putting in trying to get them to work and then going to online service and spending hours. Charge 3's are breaking down with no screens - not linking - stop working completely. My wife is on the 3rd charge 3 under warranty and 1 charge 2 that I use just went dead after barely 2 years so there is no warranty. I am not an isolated case, even on their own forums people are talking about who they are going to change to. Just with the last charge 3 that wouldn't link up I have spent 4 hours trying to get it to work and now they are sending another. Before spending your money please check and then think about Garmin or Apple. You can only talk to someone in the carribean or the phillipeans. There is no other number on their site and no one you talk to can give you a number to the company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
GARBAGE! Versa 2 will reject bluetooth pairing. The app has no Alexa, Spotify, or watch faces! Bought two, returning two Versa 2's ASAP! Terible device...
All paid subscriptions! I dont want to pay for music when i already have a subscription such a scam! Fitness apps need subscriptions etc. its useless unless your paying for everything
My old charge 2 randomly added steps even when u are sitting which meant that the calorie burn increased and more. I was just making sure if the versa 2 did didn't anything like that.

For the Ionic, Versa's and Charge three the SPO2 sensor will be activated at the end of January.

i cut hair, and my pet peeve is that every time i move my wrist, it records it as steps. great video!

@@corlissyamasaki3476 I have a pixel 3 and leaving the fitbit app open was the only way I was able to receive text notification on my way watch same way to access Alex they want you to leave there app open unfortunately.

I let mine die all the way by accident and I am unable to get it charged or turned on in the slightest help please
there should not be anything to that other than just leaving it on the changer if it's not charging check the charger itself, and then watch where the charger makes a connection to make sure nothing is blocking it. If those are good then it may be busted
Put it on the charger. Leave it for about half a day. Remove it then hold the button down for about 6 seconds. Release and it should start up

I had problems with interaction and syncing messages phone an calendar. Fitbit is aware of problem so I retuned
S10 is now comparable
I have had this fitbit (I have an iphone se) for 3 days and I have had problems, the first day, it wouldnt sync to my phone, I followed all the troubleshooting steps and none of them helped until i did a factory reset on the watch. the second day, it wouldnt sync again, but worked after i deleted the app off my phone and redownloaded it. Today, the watch did sync properly, but the apps, spotify and uber, signed me out and stopped working am I cannot get spotify to reconnect even after logging in in the app on my phone again. Also yesterday I wore it al day and by the end of the day the pedometer said i was at almost 14,000 steps, while my iphone said I was just over 7,000, and i had both of them with me the entire day. I have noticed the fitbit added about 500 steps while I was sleeping (in a bed, not walking around) and about 50 while i was sitting on a chair with my arm resting on a counter (also not moving at all). I dont know why it adds so many steps unprompted, or why it is so far off from my phone step counter, but this is what I have notcied in the first 3 days

Is the sleep tracker better on the versa2 than the charge3? I have the charge3 and it's definitely not consistent. The heart rate tracker stops tracking my heart rate randomly. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

This watch tracks driving as exercise. I'll have 5-8000 more steps then my phone's tracking. I just use it for the heat rate tracking. I don't even think it's tracking it for real though. It says my heart rate is 90 beats per minute resting. Get a real smart watch like a galaxy or Apple watch ( if you're an iPhone peasant)

URTechSupport hope you’re team is not taking this as a hate comment. I have been researching about versa 2 for the last two days. And this video would’ve been awesome if there was more b-roll shots, different kind of straps, functionality, how it looks on a wrist and close up shots of the watch with a voiceover.
Maybe, I’m a filmmaker and that makes me a different “content consumer” altogether! Hahah 😀

I have Galaxy 8+, and I got the watch yesterday, I couldn't pair my phone with versa 2. So sad.
I have the note 10 and was able to connect with no issues, I did have a problem with the notifications coming to the watch from the phone but that was about it
I just got my versa 2 today and I couldnt pair it at first with my samsung near by. Once I turned my samsung active off I had no issues pairing with my note 10+. Notifications are working well also.
I currently have the Galaxy S8 and it syncs perfectly with my Versa 2.
The watch also syncs perfectly with my iPad.

I had the original versa and the blaze. It's always a struggle to connect them. FitBit has a chat service, they guided me through the steps and I was able to connect them easy. Once connected, always connected.
The heart rate sensor on this watch fails Miserably if you have tattoos around your wrist.

I picked one up to try with my girlfriend and initially liked it but found some issues.
It ghost counts steps while driving, a lot, which turned out to be a dealbreaker for me. I drive a fair amount for work and noticed it rack up hundreds of steps in bursts. Ended up around 3k over a galaxy watch active I picked up to compare. Seemed to be a common issue once I started doing some digging, and it didn't seem like it was going to get fixed any time soon.
The heartrate tracker was good, compared to the galaxy watch which can be spotty when I'm at the gym. I wore both for a workout and the fitbit was pretty accurate to a elliptical that also measures heart rate vs the galaxy watch seemed to be a bit low on average.
I ended up returning the versa 2 since it didn't really perform other smart watch features and the ghost tracking. I also returned the galaxy active 1 because the battery life was not good, and it was also missing some features that released on the active 2. I then went down the rabbit hole and picked up a galaxy watch to see if having a full feature watch with better battery life is worth the upcost.
So far I like it, but I'm still lingering on the fact that it's double the cost of the versa 2 and I'm not sure it is twice as good.

It will pair just fine with just about any phone, but some features may not work the way it should. If you don't see your device on that compatibility list I would suggest just asking the question on Fitbit's website they should be able to answer for sure

The fitbit app is needed for most functions of the watch so if she doesnt have a way to download the app it wouldn't be worth it

I have small wrists and I had that same concern. It doesn’t look huge and bulky on me. Very comfortable too.
Before you buy a fitbit read their own forums. People are outraged at the time they are putting in trying to get them to work and then going to online service and spending hours. Charge 3's are breaking down with no screens - not linking - stop working completely. My wife is on the 3rd charge 3 under warranty and 1 charge 2 that I use just went dead after barely 2 years so there is no warranty. I am not an isolated case, even on their own forums people are talking about who they are going to change to. Just with the last charge 3 that wouldn't link up I have spent 4 hours trying to get it to work and now they are sending another. Before spending your money please check and then think about Garmin or Apple. You can only talk to someone in the carribean or the phillipeans. There is no other number on their site and no one you talk to can give you a number to the company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

GARBAGE! Versa 2 will reject bluetooth pairing. The app has no Alexa, Spotify, or watch faces! Bought two, returning two Versa 2's ASAP! Terible device...

My old charge 2 randomly added steps even when u are sitting which meant that the calorie burn increased and more. I was just making sure if the versa 2 did didn't anything like that.
