EP39 | Sailing from Knysna to Simonstown

We sail through the Knysna Heads in misty weather via Mosselbay and then into False Bay. We reach Simonstown and arrive back at our home club at ( False Bay Yacht club ) after 3 days on the water. I get over my seasickness, we see lots of dolphins and we catch up with some friends.

Definitely nice to see you guys out sailing,and even better,pushing through the sea sickness.Looks like the new engine is behaving well,and so it aught to.Don’t feel like the only one hurting you hand in this fashion,flicking crumbs off the dinner table one night,and presto,an injury.Doctor says flicking isn’t a wise thing to do,for the very reason we have here.Anyway,I haven’t gotten out of the habit 😏

It's many years since I was in Mossel Bay but we would tie up inside the harbour..... there used to be a yacht club there ....?

There is space inside, and it would have been more comfortable for sure!

Last time I was in Mossel bay i left in the middle of the night due to ‘gas on the train’.
