Heavy Freight Trains @ 1000 meters altitude in Predeal [December, 2011]

  • ENGLISH: Air compressors, scratching wheels, full-axle stressed, train horns, snow, slippery tracks and hundreds of freight cars. These are just a few "things" that you can watch in the next film!
    Predeal, the highest point where a train can reach in Romania, is - of course -- peak slope point. Here freight trains decompose and recompose, receiving or giving pusher or traction locomotives. Air compressors are working on a demanding programme, due to the extreme length of the train and in need to fill the air missing in the brake installation. Traction devices, binding and suffer the worst collision events, manufacturing errors are not allowed here because any error may transform into a disaster.
    Not at all a aerodynamic body, ASEA 060-EA still manages to climb over 40 years the Predeal slope, in single, double or triple traction with hundreds of cars daily, or going down with them on the slope to Sinaia. Or vice versa. And this road is done hour by hour, day after day, year after year, so rail freight operations is participating successfully in the economy!
    Whether that thousands of cars with petroleum products are transported by GFR, or that hundreds of containers or wagons with coal owned CFR Marfa, the player is now a Romanian electric locomotive series 40. Or 47, if we refer to upgraded versions of IGBT. Or the most powerful locomotive in Europe, 6600 kW!

    ROMÂNĂ: Compresoare de aer, roți scrâșninde, osii solicitate la maximum, goarne, zăpadă și sute de vagoane de marfă. Aceste sunt doar câteva "lucruri" pe care le puteți urmări în montajul următor!
    Predealul, cel mai înalt punct unde trenul poate ajunge în România, reprezintă -- firește -- vârf de pantă. Aici trenurile de marfă se descompun și se recompun, primind sau cedând locomotive împingătoare/de tracțiune. Compresoarele de aer sunt solicitate intens, dat fiind lungimile extreme ale trenurilor și necesarul de suplinire a defectelor inerente ale instalației de frânare. Aparatele de tracțiune, de legare și de ciocnire suferă cele mai urâte evenimente, erorile de fabricație nefiind permise aici.
    Deloc cu o caroserie aerodinamică, ASEA 060-EA totuși reușește să urce de peste 40 de ani Predealul, singură, în dublă sau în triplă tracțiune sute de vagoane zilnic, coborând cu ele în același timp pe panta către Sinaia. Sau invers. Iar acest drum este realizat oră de oră, zi de zi, an de an, astfel transportul feroviar de marfă face parte cu succes din veriga economiei!
    Fie că mii de vagoane cu produse petroliere sunt transportate de GFR, fie că sute de containere sau vagoane cu cărbune aparțin CFR Marfă, jucătorul momentului o reprezintă locomotiva electrică românească Seria 40. Sau 47, dacă ne referim la variantele modernizate cu IGBT. Sau cea mai puternică locomotivă din Europa, 6600 kW!

    cam vreo 30 de secunde am crezut ca e real. mi-am dat seama ca e prea perfect si s-a rupt mirajul? e superb jocul asta. am 2 unchi care-au fost mecanici de tren

    E incredibil ce abrupt coboara linia imediat dupa acel pod ! cred ca trag de rup acolo locomotivele cand intra in Predeal.
