Considering Sonic Robo Blast 2 runs on the DooM engine and pizza tower has its own doom mod (i think its called bring your own class) this seems oddly fitting
I really think that the pizza tower gameplay is perfect to Sonic games. The speed, combo sistem, ranks and the more important: the escape sequence is perfect to pizza tower and can be perfect to sonic

(Guess this saves me a lot of time. c: ) Only suggestion is make is for levels that are impossible to make the trip back, add portal that warp characters to the next part like in Techno Hill zone 2 or Castle Eggman zone 2. In addition a Robo Blast/Sonic theme sprites for an option would be nice. The idea I had was the Big Ring from Sonic 1, using Kart’s Self-Propelled Bomb and Maina’s Titanic Monarch Boss. (Or at lest something like it, maybe mix with the capsule idk) Ether way this is very impressive and I wish you the best of luck. .3.
The art is really nice, almost looks like it was made by an real game developer and not a modder. Like the Pizza Time! looks really good. (i gotta admit that sonic png down there is quality art)
It's Sonic RoboBlast 2! It's a Doom mod! It's freakin' legendary! People make lots of custom stages and characters for it too. Best part is there's a mod *based off of this mod* called Sonic RoboBlast2 Kart which is exactly what it sounds like. And somehow it's the best kart racer ever made.
While the music choices are good choices, will there be an option to let the proper music from Pizza Tower play instead? (I.E "It's Pizza Time!" for starting Pizza Time and "The Death That I Deservioli" for lap 2)
So, a mod that had the PT Afterimages, Then, A Custom Dashmode which has Peppino Dash Mode included, THEN, a Lap System that was an available mechanic for everyone to use, *THEN*, A Character Pack with Peppino, Noise and Snick, and now. This Absolute Masterpiece, i UNIRONICALLY can't wait to see how this develops into one of the most complete PT Mods out there, and it sure will be fun to play with mod characters too!

i can totally see this being an actual sonic thing -sonic infiltrates eggman's base -retrieves data disc from base's center or sabotages the base's reactor, setting off alarms -has to escape the level before reinforcements arrive or before the entire place goes up in smoke -gain points for defeating enemies and damaging shit, cause that'd mean less for eggman to salvage it'd totally work

I like it, Pizza Tower lapping in general always looks like the coolest thing. I'd personally give it more Sonic flavor though. Example idea being, the combo ranks instead being from SA2.

Oh I just encountered this. This is really poggers so far. Speedrunnners going to eat healthy when this releases. Although I'm guessing levels will require some editing cause I don't think you can go backwards on some..
I’d likely assume its rubber banding, so it’ll increase depending on how far away you are from Pizzaface. Naturally, this means it’ll be balanced for most all characters, as slower characters like Knuckles will likely also have a fair chance (although i doubt they’ll be able to climb for long).

It depends on his distance from you, so absolutely... probably?
I’d likely assume its rubber banding, so it’ll increase depending on how far away you are from Pizzaface. Naturally, this means it’ll be balanced for most all characters, as slower characters like Knuckles will likely also have a fair chance (although i doubt they’ll be able to climb for long).
