While filing my taxes this year, i realized I really needed to get my home office more organized. So I finally decided to build a filing cabinet. The case and drawer boxes are made from ash, which was stained black using Rubio Monocoat's Precolor Easy: Intense Black. And then finished using their Oil Plus 2C: Charcoal. The drawer fronts are made from walnut. And I used Blum undermount drawer slides to install the drawers in the case. I love the combination of black with walnut!
*Thanks to Rockler for sponsoring this project! I do NOT make any commissions if you decide to check out their products and plans. 😊

Dang man, beautiful work. Not just on the cabinet but also the editing and cinematography. It is evident that you put a lot of time and care into the videos you share. The final reveal around 13:45 was awesome. Love the saxophone for this sweet cabinet reveal. Great job man and thanks for sharing!

This is a great high light of why Rubio is such an awesome finish - you could cut off 3/4", refinish those edges with no real issue. That would be a lot tougher with poly of similar.

Random thought: when you cut the extra height from the bottom drawer, that sliver of raw wood color peeking through the black stain was really cool, I wonder if it could become a nice detail to put intentionally into some piece of furniture.

I'm debating on getting the Rockler clamps. I noticed you don't have anything between the clamps and wood, how is removing dried glue on then?

Love the build and the style of your videos!
One small criticism: in the last handful of videos (3 or 4) you've been talking so fast that I have to slow the video down to 0.75x speed for it to be watchable. I've had no issues following along with your older videos though.
Keep it up with the awesome projects!
