I love your videos Katie, thank you for these. Also based in the UK and have started buying a lot of Zimmermann and am trying to find other brands that do lovely linen pieces for slightly more affordable prices. Appreciate that you're always honestly commenting on the quality of the pieces you review as it's huge to me now when making higher priced purchases that the money is actually being well spent.

It might sound counter-intuitive but I really appreciate that you mention different brands even if you personally don't have clothes from them to show! I think it promotes a more thoughtful approach to fashion because no one needs that many dresses in their wardrobe - not even to make youtube videos for others :)

Lovely recommendations - such a coincidence for me as I bought a pink city prints dress a couple of weeks ago having never come across them before. I have the hollyhock dress which is similar to yours and seems like it will be great fun to wear when it's warm enough

Hi interesting video. I like that you highlight new brands. Another brand that is small that you may like is Mata Traders. I had the pleasure to meet the founder of this brand at my rug shop last week. Fair trade made in India. Funny you mentioned the nap dress from hill house home because last year I thrifted a beautiful blue one for 6 dolllars. I had never heard the brand before this but could tell the quality was good. I wore it to my big birthday celebration.🙂
btw, I can't wait until I'm in the UK next so I can check out all the British brands you talk about.

I recently got 2 Dresses from Nobody’s child 2nd Hand but I really don’t like the Quality… maybe this might be different if buying new 😔
I wonder how old they are, I feel like some of their quality has improved in the last year or two. But it’s not the most amazing quality, although price point is on the lower end compared to the other brands!

I do not consider faithfull a responsible brand. The only thing about indica is that it uses certain certified materials, but that is also what low-cost brands say. It is completely opaque in manufacturing and transportation, if you tell me that it worries you a lot, but I don't care about your concern if you produce in countries where you don't have to comply with certain standards because it is cheaper, which already makes you doubt the responsible thing. I'm not saying it's a bad brand, you don't have to be a responsible brand to be a good brand, but I wouldn't consider it responsible.

What is the sizing like at Pink City Dresses ?
I would say pretty true to size! For reference, I’m wearing a small in the first dress and a medium in the second 😊
I really like this Singapore brand called Caramel Monster! They make small batches of linen and cotton dresses. The prices are affordable, but international shipping will cost a lot.

I got size L so I would say yes true to size but if you’re between sizes - size up!
Please keep making these videos- they're fantastic!! I really liked the burgundy Nobody's Child dressyou showed but it's $144 on the US site. A direct conversion would be about $90. What a markup!!
The Australian site shows the green dress at $300 AUD or roughly $200 USD! Oh, and they still have the audacity to charge $25 shipping.

when you said shirred, the other word is smocked or smocking, which they usually do at the bodice or on the back so it's stretchy....i was glad you mentioned of her own kind. they make beautiful dresses, i have two! one is a puff sleeved one called maeve and it's really great quality. the other is better for fall/winter, its the lennox, i adore and treasure both dresses.
