Conquering Lake Norman: Student Pilot Edition

Reviewing the videos I do get to take has been very helpful for reviewing my progress and what is actually happening vs what I think is happening. Student Pilot Landing at Lake Norman airpark. This one is a little intimidating. Trees on one end, approach over water, narrow runway, and not the longest either. This is the first time I noticed how much my CFI is watching the instruments. I thing the job a CFI has to be very rewarding and extremely nerve racking at times.
I really struggled with taxiing in the beginning, but that is starting to come around and I keep getting better.
