I’m dealing with the folding table issue right now with it in the bed of my ‘21 Ram Rebel. I also like the full height rack idea with the roof rack for building materials. Keep us posted on that rack!
For the biker bracket to mount to bedrack to hold bike tray should make aluminum so it doesn’t rust and see if you can get it to be flipped the other way so that it’s closer to the truck so that you keep the bike down low for center of gravity so the bikes not so far up would be great
Definitely recommend the amp research step for everyday driving, BUT road grim would mess with then from time to time. The pivot pins will get stuck and stop the step from cycling correctly. Only have come across that issue once done here in Texas. Your mileage may vary
I love the DIY adjustable rack systems... sometimes really long stuff has too much overhang up front... I built a 1" steel square tubing frame that litterally folded out/over to the front bumper and had an adjustable support leg that sat in a cutout area in my front bumper so it didn't bounce. nothing like a heavy duty ranger with space for 16' of things on top.
Amp research steps are ok, they do get filled with dirt and grime and snow and ice and get stuck up or down so they are high maintenance, just something to keep in mind.
I had rockslide engineering retractable steps / rock sliders on the gladiator. On the east coast, with salt and snow it kinda affected them and they wouldn't close all the way. Just make sure with power steps they are corrosive resistant for that type of weather
In life or death situations, you can do pretty much anything, anywhere. It's the proving that you were in fear for your life that is the tricky part sometimes.
That roof rack is by far the coolest nicest most innovative and common sense roof rack I love it. Been a subscriber for a long time always love your content. “Hope you’ve been well”😂
I have Amp’s steps , they suck the driver side always goes out and I just got them 2 years ago (replaced motor 3X) I might have just got a bad egg tho not sure
You mentioned that you can still open the Diamondback with the rack on and tent off, but it looks like the table mounting bracket would limit that functionality even with the table out. Is that correct?
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 4X4 regular cab with the 6'4" bed. Any chance I could get a kilo roof rack made for it? And I'm also interested in the mid height bed rack to. Thanks
For the Tundras, Platinum is a trim level and TRD OR is a package - Platinum is amazing, no regrets there. I wish I had added the TRD OR package, but again since this truck isn't mainly a trail rig, it's not a huge loss for how I use it.
Sorry - fit is pretty good, but they aren't designed for the cooled seats as far as I can tell, so fitment around that item was a little off - amzn.to/4ekYUJ6

Mike, i know kids are a pain some times and i dont mean to tell you how to live your life. but please dont thrash your back seat with any children let alone babies 😂
Tundra KILO roof rack just launched! (code "LLOD" for 5% off) - www.uptopoverland.com/products/kilo-tundra-crewmax-roof-rack-2022
Always a good day when there’s a new LLOD video. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the new Tundy!
Appreciate you watching!
I have always liked upTOP racks, and now that I have a Tacoma Access Cab you guys are my only option.
That tundra is badass, thx for sharing
My Platinum came with retractable steps and gives the Tundra a clean look. Definitely recommend them specially for the wife and kids.
On an overland vehicle though?

Yes on retractable side steps. Wife and 4 year old would not be able to get in without them. Also helps when we have visitors.
Good to see what is possible.
Good info. Thank you. Can’t wait to see the Tacoma.

Would love to see more home/homestead projects!
Nice truck. Remember to keep a spare key in a faraday because your key probably won’t work after a EMP

Been well. Looking forward to the updates.

Yeah that sounds like a nice add-on if you're hauling long items often!

What a beast!
Nice! Get a Mammoth Overland Tallboy trailer for the fam!
Sweet setup
Thoughts for the front bumper.. Another bar below the top bar, for “actual” impact with a dear.
Look forward too more
I see something hiding in the shed we haven’t seen before👀
Isn't it the 2nd Gen Sequoia?
He shared a bit on his IG
Would love an upTOP rack for my 100 series!
31:34 in Oklahoma from what I just saw you can plow protesters in life/death situations and not be charged.

Nice truck
Do you have a link for the antenna mounts you use? Thanks
0:03 Namaste to you too.

Appreciate it!
Hey Mike! I love the folding table idea! Has your team considered a similar product for those bag chairs that everyone has?
Unfortunately I don't even know what chairs you're talking about?
Is the moonroof functional with the Kilo rack? Patiently waiting for the Kilo Tundra to drop on the website...
Sure is!
I’m also looking in to trailers there are a couple that I’m interested in but the issue for me is to get it on the road in the Netherlands
It'll be cool to see you build the new tacoma. Do a video on how to run 37s and what need to be done
Hey Mike, what would you prefer for your family as a bugout vehicle: your LX570 or your Tundra?
Do a video of how to add a front camera park assist for those of us our SR5 TRD didnt come with
I've never done it - but I may look into adding additional cameras on my Tacoma.
Love the build, Any chance you guys are going to develop an up top roof rack for an 80 series?
Can you provide the full spec on the tires? Those are 37"? thanks!
Plus one...specs on wheel and tire sizing would be greatly appreciated!
I need a video on this garmin switch. I saw the wiring video but not an in-depth on the switch.
Also see the Montana plate lol
@Bward216 what is the benefit of the Montana registration?
@@romoismael49 it's a tax savings strategy usually only done on very expensive vehicles like supercars
How do we get an Uptop LLOD discount code?!?
Any details on the light bar? I am looking at ordering by Kilo for my 3rd gen Tacoma.
Can you use the sunroof function with this new roof rack?
I have Amp’s steps , they suck the driver side always goes out and I just got them 2 years ago (replaced motor 3X) I might have just got a bad egg tho not sure
Mike, would you ever get a GX460. I would love to see build one
Nah, LX is superior in every way
I'm waiting for the major engine trouble to be fixed before I get a Tundra. Keeping my Tacoma forever though.
Will there be a GMC Sierra option for the roof rack?
You mentioned that you can still open the Diamondback with the rack on and tent off, but it looks like the table mounting bracket would limit that functionality even with the table out. Is that correct?
I'll actually have to test with the table. Due to the pivot point of the cover, it may still open.
What kind of boots are those?
I just had the Trailer Backup Guide Malfunction on my Limited after 6K miles. Sounds like a lot of people are starting to see this on the '24s.

Do you regret settling for a platnium instead of a TRD off road??

what are your oil change intervals?
I did one myself at 1k, then will do 5k thereafter (haven't hit 5k yet).
Like the black high-top shoes. Brand and model? Thank ya
Lems for sure.. I think outlanders is the model
montana plates? for no inspection?
Privacy, taxes, ease.
I have always liked the Crew Max better than the Double Cab plus the whole back window rolls down so you can jump into the cab of need to gtfo.
That rolldown back window is awesome for sure.
I thought the Platinums came with retractable steps.
It's an option, my didn't come with.
Seat cover Link?
Sorry - fit is pretty good, but they aren't designed for the cooled seats as far as I can tell, so fitment around that item was a little off - amzn.to/4ekYUJ6
Do the up top racks only fit on thr HD?
The could fit an SE as well - you'd just need to add the extra cleats. Diamondback sells cleat kits.
Do you have the link for the seat covers? You put it down below but there’s no link with it 😂

Are you the kid with the cap from SPEED RACER ??????? Sparky...????
I going to trade my tacoma for the tundra real soon
Almost 2nd!!
Gonna have to watch 10 minutes a day for the next 4 days lol jk.
Haha sorry sorry
Mike, i know kids are a pain some times and i dont mean to tell you how to live your life. but please dont thrash your back seat with any children let alone babies 😂
Haha that's why I got the seat covers!
The lift and simplicity of the truck is bad*ss
Almost first! :(
Your biceps are getting big but your wrists and forearms look tiny. What formula are you using? Dude you gotta stop juicing.
Idk if that was a weird compliment or a dis. But if I was juicing I'd want a refund fa sho
I’m just sick of the term overlanding now.
Sucks, might want to visit a doctor
Why do you talk so slow?
For you
Lost me at Ironman cheap china crap.
Your phone is made in china too, clown.
I DM'd you on IG. It's about Toyota that I think you should see
