@mel_2025 Bc for men, you want to continue your bloodline. He literally said he wants to have kids. Sure, it's probably not a deal breaker for him right now, but if he truely wants kids like he said he does, then later in life, there will be regret. This is why you should never live your life in regret. If you want kids, then have kids. It would suck to be 50 or 60 years old, regretting not having kids. By then, it's too late. You'll have a greater chance of not being able to watch them grow or be there for them like you would if you were 30 or 40. Life is too short to be settling for something less....especially when it's about having children

I married a man who had this attitude. He wanted kids , I didn’t. He shared the opinion that it was a lot for a woman to put her body thru and never once pressured me. He loved me regardless. 9 yrs after marrying I decided I wanted a kid . She’s now 21 and my husband and I have been married 31 yrs.

I think people so often think of the pain of childbirth as just when mothers are in labor. But so much more goes into being pregnant, it’s truly 9 months of discomfort & physical pain. Your hormones cause mood swings and you risk post partum depression, it’s a lot more than just a few hours of pain and pushing. Never mind then having to nurse and care for the child after giving birth. It’s not for everyone and ultimately the decision should lie with whoever is carrying the child. We need more men who think like this and can understand it’s not for every one. Some people prefer to adopt and some don’t want kids at all, nothing wrong with it.
Some women get post partum psychosis. They can have several kids just fine, and then, boom! It’s like their brains go haywire. They can become a danger to themselves and others when that happens. Yet, my government at least, is pushing more and more for forced birth. The woman’s health doesn’t matter at all as long as they incubate that fetus long enough for it to become a baby. It is so cruel to women and girls to be forced to do something that can kill them.
He’s such a green flag. Im glad that he understands the pain and hardships that come with having children. Also, I don’t like how the interviewers are trying to undermine his answer. Not all women want to have children and all you can do is respect that. Grow up.

It's not always just about pain though. It's nine months of body alteration, hormonal imbalance, the fact that a woman literally has to change her body to give birth. It's the emotional and physical change. This guy is pretty awesome.
