True and the company behind Word of Warships has also with their Word of Tanks division done the video's for the following Sabaton songs Primo Victoria and Steel Commander. Their World of Tanks game has also offered at least one Sabaton themed tank in the WoT games.
Sabaton has been around since 1999, they celebrate 25 years this year. The "cool" looking guitar player, is actually the bass player, his name is Pär Sundström. Pär is one of the founding members along with the singer Joakim Brodén. The other members in this video are: Hannes Van Dahl (Drums), Tommy Johansson (Guitar, solo) and Chris Rörland (Guitar).
They have their own history chanel where they talk about the history behind the story they wrote a song about. Their animated music videos also gives you more info before the song kicks in ("Nightwitches" and "No bullets fly"). Or their stunnig music videos about the "Chirstmas truce" or cover of "1916".
Of those I'd personally recommend the following two "No bullets fly" as the Yarnhub animated version gives more information and the outro shows it's based on a real incident and their cover of Motorhead's 1916 hits you right in the feels.

The guitarist doing the nice solo has a youtube channel of his own, Tommy Johansson where he does covers in metal style (can be anything from Ave Maria to heavy metal). Also checkout his band Majestica (he left Sabaton to continue with his own band that he has had for over 20 years). He has a beautiful voice that I think you will like.
Yes please, Tommy is great❤ Always make us smile because we see his love to music, it always shine throw. You heard his solo there, there are a lot of them. He plays about 10-12 instruments and does all filming and editing... all thats needed for great videos ❤ Reactors use to start with Steelharts 'Shes Gone' but you can pick anyone, they are all great 👍
The song "Bismark" was a stand alone single. The song was made by wargaming for the game "world of warships" Wargaming also made the video for "Steel Commanders" for the game "world of tanks" where there is a Sabaton themed tank. Fun fact: Sabaton own 2 tanks named Audie and Walter.
Just a minor correction, the "tanks" are actually drum risers used in their tours. Fun fact, "Audie" is named for Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier in US history, and the subject of the Sabaton song "To Hell and Back."
FINALLY you react to Sabaton, i have try to request and make people vote for them, also the guitarrist of Sabaton "Tommy Johansson" is awsome. Check out Swedish pagan live at wacken 🙏
The wreck of Bismarck was discovered on 8 June 1989 by Robert Ballard, the oceanographer responsible for finding RMS Titanic. Bismarck was found to be resting on her keel at a dept of approximately 4,791 m (15,719 ft), about 650 km (400 mi) west of Brest. 48°10′N 16°12′W
Welcome to the Sabaton craze, and yep, that's their thing. Warstories. Check out: 1916 (its a Motorhead cover but so good), Christmas Truce, Soldier of Heaven, En Livstad i Krig (Subtitles on!) live in Gothenburg, Last Stand, Night Witches, Swedish Pagans.
As a side note, the name they gave the boat at 1:45 is taken from an older song by the band, from the older setup of the band. If you want an awesome live song with the you should react to en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg 2020. The album Carolus Rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish from a time when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldier's view while the English one is more from an outsider's view. It is the Swedish version they played at that show, so be sure you have the subtitles on, I was at that show and all I can say is that you will not regret it.
They've been "around" since 1999, they're swedish 🇸🇪 and that's why Joakim has this cool accent, and they're great. NOT a movie. Sabaton does all their music videos like that. They want the fans to get the best they can give. Christmas Truce Steel Commanders 1916 The Unkillable Soldier Livgarded ( swedish version ) Uprising those are only some of their official videos. Welcome to Sabaton rabbit hole 😅 and it's a BIG one.😂 Do more Sabaton you'll have a whole Sabaton Army on your channel. We love people who love Sabaton. Very nice reaction, keep rocking with Sabaton 🤘🤘🎶🇵🇱
Finaly some real music on your Chanel. Sabaton is fire and the drummer is married with the best singer in the world Floor Jansen from nightwish . Nightwish is symphonic metal and I hope you two give it a go . Start with ghost love score live from wacken 2013 . You will not regret it . Greetings nightwish army the Netherlands
"Primo Victoria" - the name of the boat they performed upon is also the name of another of their songs - worth a look! The guys froze on that boat - Joakim, the singer, was probably bashing his leg to make sure it was still there! What is more Metal than a Battleship!!!? The Battle of the Denmark Strait happened before the USA could be bothered to enter WW2. edit: Try their "1916"!!!!! RIP Lemmy!
The footage isn’t from a movie, it’s animated with live action by World of Warships. Also, the captain of the fishing boat is the son of someone from the Bismarck.
This is a true Sabaton music video! They put much to the videos and tell about history events! They have a Historj Vhannel here on YT! Christmas Truce offical music video has the same movie feeling, don’t miss it! Also Sabato- En livstid i krig/ A lifetime of war! The live video from gothenburg is sooo powerfull and also emotional!! You can find this performance with English subtiles 💪🏻🤘🏻
Bismarck was meant to stop shipping between America and Britain. When it went out initially it scored a direct hit on the forward ammo magazine of the HMS Hood, destroying the ship and leaving only six survivors if I recall right. This enraged the British public and the admiralty made Bismarck their top priority. During the battle with Hood and the Prince of Wales, the Bismarck began to leak some of its fuel oil and eventually had to start making for harbor in occupied France. During the trip, it was attacked by pilots from the HMS Ark Royal. Most of the torpedo hits did little to no damage but one pilot made a one-in-a-million shot that disabled Bismarck's rudder as it was turning to starboard (right) this jammed the rudder and so the ship was effectively stuck going in circles. The following morning the HMS Rodney, HMS King George V and others surrounded Bismarck and during the battle a direct hit on the main bridge took out the ship's entire bridge crew along with the captain, not long after the order to scuttle the ship and abandon it was given. Some survivors were picked up but reports of German U-boats in the area caused the rescue to be called off, leaving most of those who survived to drown. It should also be noted that the captain of the Bismarck insisted that the ship be referred to in the masculine instead of the feminine as is the common tradition on a ship.
you would fall in love with other sabaton songs as well, like winged hussars, uprising and 40:1 (woodstock live versions), chrismats truce, the last stand
Some In-depth info: The "Bismarck" , and his sister ship "Tirpitz", were the 2 largest battleships ever built in Europe (250 meters long, 36 meters wide, and displacing more than 50.000 tones) and they were the pride of the kriegsmarine (Germany's militari navy) during Ww2. The "Bismarck" set sail in May 1941 to reach the Atlantic and destroy merchant convoys, but he was intercepted by the British and during a brief fight, destroyed the former flagship of the British fleet and pride of the Royal Navy, the worldwide famous battlecruiser "Hood", by penetrating her armor and detonating her aft main ammunition magazine and killing all 1400 members of her crew except for 3 men, and heavily damaged the battleship "Prince of Wales". This enraged the prime minister Winston Churcil who ordered all his ships in the Atlantic to abandon their operations and destroy the Bismarck. In total more than 40 ships participated to the hunt, making it the biggest naval hunt in history. Meanwhile Bismarck, who had received a hit during the first battle, was leaking fuel and was trying to reach the French port of Saint Nazaire, in occupied France, for repair. After 3 days of playing cat and mouse with the British, Bismarck was attacked by airplanes launched from the aircraft carrier "Ark Royal" and hit by a torpedo in the stern, which jammed his rudders during evasive manuvers, meaning that he was forced to sail in circles, just a few miles away from reaching air cover. In the end battleships "King George V" and "Rodney", along side the heavy cruisers "Norfolk" and "Dorsedshire" fought the already doomed battleship and, during the following 90 minutes completely destroyed it. However, despite having all his guns destroyed, and having received more than 400 hits (out of the 2800 shells that the British had fired at it) his armor was still mostly intact and the ship was still afloat. So the british launched another 4 torpedoes and he disappeared beneath the waves. After inspection of the wreck however it had been discovered that the torpedoes did no significant damage thanks to the battleship's excellent armor, and that Bismarck had been scuttled by his crew (although it should be noted that many historians believe that it would have eventually sunk due to the damage received). Of the 2200 men that served on it, only 114 survived.
Great reaction to my favourite band!🤘 I'd love to see more reactions to them. Follow the suggestions in this comment section. A lot of good ones. Also check out their Great Tour music video for "Lion from the North". The song is about a badass king of the Swedish Empire. The footage is from the Great Tour in Europe, 2019/2020. I've subscribed btw.
This video was made by Wargaming for the game "world of warships" . Wargaming also did "steel commanders" video for world of tanks, in the game there is a Sabaton themed tank.
now when you opened a door you cant shut its time for you to watch animated story videos of no bullets fly and nightwitches and lyric video for the final solution
I live in Estonia and we currently have these special cruises between Tallinn and Stockholm where Sabaton plays live on the ship lol. It's like taking a boat from Estonia to Finland (Mike, you wanted to do that haha) but overnight and way more fun.
Not sure what I stumbled into on your channel but I like it would love you to do a deep dive into Sabaton’s catalog they are amazing. I suggest Ghost Division, No Bullets Fly , Night Witches, Christmas Truce. 82nd all the way. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💙🙏 let’s go
Sabaton music videos are great. Next No Bullet Fly. Check Also Nightwish. Symphonic Metal band. Songs are epic! New single An Ocean Of Strange Islands.
This song was written because the story was most requested by the fans, and it's a single. They also have a separate channel with videos (15 to 30 minutes) that explain the stories in more depth; th-cam.com/users/SabatonHistory
This video is NOT from a movie look up there song "Cristmas truse" that video aint from a movie either❤ thanks for yor reaction Have a kickass day love from Sabaton land🇸🇪❤
14:30 The allies won against the Bismarck (Germany). That is why the guitar is victorious. Great song about a great battleship. But, the Yamato Battleship is something to make a song about. Man, the Americans had no idea what the Japanese were cocking back in the 30's. I think, still today the biggest, most armed, most armored ship ever in history (FYI The reason is now we have carrier groups. The carrier is the flag ship, surrounded by destroyers etc.)
Sabaton has been around since 1999 and is considered one of the "big four" of power metal (Helloween, Blind Guardian, and Dragon Force are the others). There have been several lineup changes with Par Sundstrom (bassist and the guy you said looks like he came from the ocean) and Joakim Broden (lead singer) the only ones from the original lineup.
They normally post specific videos where they encurrage you to put your week lists in the comment for people to vote on/like, and if you get votes/likes enough they will put it on a poll for people to vote on in the weekly live stream, and the one winning will be reacted to sometime in the future. That's the way they do full weeks for now. Next time they'll do this is in the start or middle of october I think, since the guys are on individual trips durring september.(So everything coming out in September is pre-recorded videos of either lists that won earlier, or one off donations from patreon members)😊
Always feeling surprised how hard it is to figure out that it says Atlantic at the end. I mean how many effing oceans do you know that starts with A? But oh oh, how are we supposed to know it's an ocean they refer to? Uh, it's a video/song about a B a t t l e s h i p. I dunno about you, but I have for dang sure never heard of a battleship fighting on LAND. I shouldn't assume, but I'm gonna do it anyway, these two dudes are americans? Must be, because anyone else would KNOW this story already, or at least easily know it says Atlantic. World War 2. Bismarck was one of Two (Tirpitz being the other) huge battleships that the Germans/nazis made. Bismarcks task was to basically rule and terrorize the Atlantic, hitting convoys that are sent between U.S and UK, mainly from US to UK. Because as anyone knows on this planet, Germany was in war with UK and eventually US in world war 2, surely they teach you THAT at least in american schools? Bismarck however never really managed to get too far out to the Atlantic before being sunk by british (and other nations) ships. After a long cat and mouse chase, and Bismarck taking more hits than probably any other Battleship could or can survive. Bismarck is one of extremely few ships that is addressed as HE, instead of SHE. Kriegsmarine, which is mentioned several times in the video/song, is the German navy. Sooo, German Battleship. German in war with UK, US, and whatever else. It's a Battleship, which obviously fights on water, right? With me so far? What is the ocean between Europe and America called? hm? This video was about said Battleship. So when the final text mentions the battle of A.... It really, REALLY shouldn't been obvious the second the A came up. Just for any american reading this, here's a surprise probably for ya, there are more to the world than just the U.S.
Sabaton doesn't really agree with the classification to Power Metal. There are several standard power metal things they don't normally do, but there are a lot of things they do that are more power metal than heavy metal. For a more typical representation, I recommend you look at the song Awakening by Unleash the Archers. You won't be disappointed. Power metal in every aspect.
Oh dear! Looking at your past reaction videos it’s definitely time you listened to some proper music. Ghost Love Score live at Wacken 2013 by Nightwish should be your next one. You will not believe the viewing figures you will get for this one. You will also meet the greatest singer of recent times. You have been warned!
The video was made for this song in cooperation with the World Of Warships video game. The footage is NOT from a movie.

Think of Sabaton as modern-day Viking skalds, the bards who made songs about battles and heroes.
Sabaton - "No bullets fly" (animated) next?
Sabaton started 1999. Look at No bullets fly the animated video.
animated story video
The Bismarck was a german WW2 warship. The biggest ever built. Sabaton writes songs about historical events mostly war stories. They are amazing!!
Her sister, the Tirpitz, was actually nearly 3,000 tons heavier.
@@sondebueu Techincally, the Bismarck was a male ship. One of very few male ships in history.
biggest class of ship up to that point. Modern aircraft carriers are bigger by some way
@@greaper1976 I think he clearly meant biggest ever german ww2 warship(tho Tirpiz was a bit heavier)

The Bismark. It could sink you from 15 miles away.
Sabaton = Valor Metal
I must recommend the 1960 movie "Sink the Bismarck" to learn more about the Battle of the Atlantic.
Have seen some calling it history metal as well.
Yes they had the music budget. Their videos are always great and detailed
I concur 🤘
I live in Estonia and we currently have these special cruises between Tallinn and Stockholm where Sabaton plays live on the ship lol. It's like taking a boat from Estonia to Finland (Mike, you wanted to do that haha) but overnight and way more fun.
Hope you'll react to the English version of the song Carolus Rex and the Swedish live version of En livstid i krig (it has English subtitles)
Not sure what I stumbled into on your channel but I like it would love you to do a deep dive into Sabaton’s catalog they are amazing. I suggest Ghost Division, No Bullets Fly , Night Witches, Christmas Truce. 82nd all the way. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💙🙏 let’s go
I concur 🤘
Sabaton music videos are great. Next No Bullet Fly. Check Also Nightwish. Symphonic Metal band. Songs are epic! New single An Ocean Of Strange Islands.
This song was written because the story was most requested by the fans, and it's a single.
They also have a separate channel with videos (15 to 30 minutes) that explain the stories in more depth;

This video is NOT from a movie look up there song "Cristmas truse" that video aint from a movie either❤ thanks for yor reaction
Have a kickass day love from Sabaton land🇸🇪❤
14:30 The allies won against the Bismarck (Germany). That is why the guitar is victorious. Great song about a great battleship. But, the Yamato Battleship is something to make a song about. Man, the Americans had no idea what the Japanese were cocking back in the 30's. I think, still today the biggest, most armed, most armored ship ever in history (FYI The reason is now we have carrier groups. The carrier is the flag ship, surrounded by destroyers etc.)
More info for uninformed, carriers have fighter jets, air supremacy
You should listen to some of the earlier songs like Man of war or carolus rex english version.
Ghost division is very power metal
Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016...maybe something to react to.
They always use this pants
I think you need a bigger boat!🎸🤘
sabaton is my fav band new sub today try Epica consign to oblivion live at the zenith paris
You have to do Christmas truce!
Hella cool. 🎉❤
par is my fav too
Sabaton has been around since 1999 and is considered one of the "big four" of power metal (Helloween, Blind Guardian, and Dragon Force are the others). There have been several lineup changes with Par Sundstrom (bassist and the guy you said looks like he came from the ocean) and Joakim Broden (lead singer) the only ones from the original lineup.
this is made for the music video, not from any movie
'A buff'😅🇸🇪
sabaton has some animated story videos check them out too
Could you please do a Girls Aloud week?
#1 Sound Of The Underground
#2 The Promise
#3 Love Machine
#4 Call The Shots
#5 No good Advice
They normally post specific videos where they encurrage you to put your week lists in the comment for people to vote on/like, and if you get votes/likes enough they will put it on a poll for people to vote on in the weekly live stream, and the one winning will be reacted to sometime in the future. That's the way they do full weeks for now. Next time they'll do this is in the start or middle of october I think, since the guys are on individual trips durring september.(So everything coming out in September is pre-recorded videos of either lists that won earlier, or one off donations from patreon members)😊
Listen to Powerwolf (Powermetal)
if lady of the dark isnt on this list scrap all series.
Sabaton Woodstock Poland 2012 Live "Uprising " and "40:1"
Please🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖
This is a rabbit hole…. 🙂 Pax! /ToZ
Please can you do 1916, Soldier of heaven.
Pls, can you do Ariana Grande week:)
#5 boy is mine #4 positions # 3yes, and? #2 God is a woman #1 we can’t be friends
✨✨🦾🌊✨✨
YOU SKIPPED THROUGH IT? I'm out of here. You have no respect.
History with a beat 😊
