- This Mil Mi-8T came to Hungary in 2004. Before that she was a paraschuter helicopter around Ukraine in the registration of UR-22623.
Now she is a paraschuter helicopter in the fleet of Artic Group Kft. with HA-HSE, Siófok-Kiliti airfield.
Siófok-Kiliti is the airfield of the Mi-8 Boogie, every weekend in summertime.
Paraschuters from all around Europe can enjoy the Paraschuter village, and can jump out from two Mi-8T from 4400 meter altitude.
The Mil Mi-8 (NATO reporting name Hip) is a Soviet-designed medium twin-turbine Transport helicopter. The Mi-8 is among the world's most-produced helicopters used by over 50 countries.
Ez a Mi-8-as 2004 érkezett hazánkba Ukrajnából. A gép Siófok-Kilitire került, ahol az Artuc Group Kft. flottájában repül HA-HSE-vel együtt.
Főként ejtőernyős repülésekre használják a Mi-8 Boogie események keretein belül, minden nyári hétvégén.
A Siófok-Kiliti reptéren professzionálisan kiépített ejtőernyős-falu üzemel, ahogy a látogatók külön ejtőernyő hajtogató hangárakat használhatnak, valamint szállási és étkezési lehetőségeket is biztosítanak számukra.
A Mil Mi-8 (NATO kódja HIP) egy szovjet tervezésű kétturbinás közepes szállítóhelikopter. A világon az egyik legnagyobb példányszámban gyártott helikopter, rendkívül sikeres konstrukció. Nagyon mostoha körülmények között is megállja a helyét, magas hegyek között, mínusz 20 fok körüli hőmérsékletben a szibériai lankákon, vagy sivatagi körülmények között több mint ötven országban alkalmazzák.

I understand that everybody around the world pretty much dislikes, despises, or simply hates Russia. But you cannot argue they built a very good helicopter here. Robust, reliable, manouvreable, practical, resourceful. I can't really argue with the Mi8. It's one of the better or one of the best things to come out of Russia really.

Really infuriating that in Hollywood movies and some TV series, most helicopters use the sounds of the UH-1 Huey and Bell 206 JetRanger, and sadly they used the Huey's sound for the Mi-8 too.
Only Chernobyl used the correct sound for the Mi-8 (you can hear it when Scherbina and Legasov arrive outside the nuclear plant, just as Bryukhanov and Fomin were talking).
Even worst, saw a few days ago that video where a french police ec145 doing a crazy rescue in the mountains, am sure you saw it its super popular, of course someone reuploaded it with Bell47 sound...!
I guess this pilot has never served on a carrier. When you touch down, you have to cut throttle quickly enough to avoid resonnance between your helo and the deck. Not like he did here =) Anyway, still a nice shot =) You are the King
