err the graphics used to be better... they downgraded the game because it was too high end originally... now the problem is everyone's hardware caught up but it's too much work to go back and update... before the downgrade... flower pots had as many polygons as character models and SE even admitted that the flower pots were part of the problem why they needed the ARR relaunch... that is to say they didn't keep up with trends of what is fun in an MMO and basically made XI all over just with super charged graphics that could make beast PCs (for the time) beg for mercy.

I liked the crossover though issue with the Garuda summon when outside of the crossover is that everytime you active a summon in order to summon one of the main Astral summons is that Garuda is always the one that appears even though that's the only issue I had after the crossover, her move is pretty amazing
Ok. I'm gonna tell you a little story because for me, that Boss probably was one of the biggest surprise. The last Final Fantasy I played was THE one people talk about. You know, the one everybody want a Remake, one that is currently in progress. When I started playing FFXV, it was mostly by curiosity and I was enjoying it. Reaching the chapter 9 and deciding to return to the main land for a bit. Then, tremors were felt near the starting point. Cue, GIANT TURTLE! Then I drived a bit and suddently came across that girl under a Chocobo. I knew from the purple quest line that it was a Crossover and I was a bit anxious. I did the other one with Sarah and I didn't liked it. The set-up was made poorly, the boss fight wasn't that good. And theses white guys just repeating the same thing over and over. AAARG! I hated it. Then, I did the fun littles battles around the Summon area... Then SHE arrived... The music and the set-up were pretty incredible for the first seconds. Then she screamed while the music suddently went a 100%. I was playing with friends who were like "yeah this game is... meh I think. Nothing really special." But when she screamed, the music kicked in, and the boss fight ensued... We were 4 guys and suddently all 3 of them were like... "I need to get this game."
I beat this at lvl 30. After I played Kingdom Hearts 3 I went on Amazon and got FFXV, the deluxe edition and even got the royal dlc. I enjoyed both games but I dislike how easy they both are. Or the lack of deaths. (Literally zero)

They should have made it more challenging with similar mechanics. I want the frat party to know the anguish and frustration the WoL felt, going against Harpy Queen. Her winds are able to RIP through rock, and her plumes were a fucking nightmare to DPS. But, yay, a nicer Garuda.
Would have preferred the cancelled Luna and Aranea DLC over this and the Terra Wars crossover. Also seems like they were just using this game as an experiment for the Luminous Engine which they don't seem to be going forward with.
The games senior programmer or something took over as the head of the luminous studio they still intend on using the engine they would be stupid not to it's an amazing bit of kit just need the right game director to utilise it.

Agni's Philosophy looked great though as was some of the lighting in FF XV and the dlc that were released had quite distinct gameplay which must have somehow been made easier by the engine. Hope we see FF XVI made using it.

So snap, Noctis just had a Superior Spider-Man event. He vanished for 10 seconds in his realm but within that 10 seconds he ad a full blown adventure in the FFXIV world.
This addition was good. Y'jhimei and Garuda are beautiful! =) I’m waiting for more stories on Xbox One, and I hope that they will release the promised additions for Aranea, Lunafrey and Noctis.
I actually like the non turn based gameplay, I honestly played 13,10,7and etc and loved the turn based gameplay in those games but honestly I feel like its kinda outdated and can get very tedious but I wouldn't mind seeing turn based coming back
Voice acting and music was great. But goddamn, Garuda's awkward facial animations in between her lines make me cringe so much. Glad this game is gonna get it's well deserved rest. Went out with a mediocre bang with this add-on, but kudos to the voice actors and dev team that decided to continue with this project.
Pretty neat idea to make the Garuda of the FF 15 universe a sort of Hermes to the astral. This is the kind of DLC I was hoping they would've implemented, things to spice up gameplay, unfortunately, they had to focus on the story because they forgot to make half of the story fleshed out in any way shape or form in the vanilla version.
I haven't play this game but from the most walkthrough I have seen on TH-cam, the summon in this version game is strong enough to kill the boss. If you can summon freely, it will be quickly boring in fighting challenges that end super fast with just summon and "BOOM", not to mention there are many scenes go along with story thou.

Not like Noctis, he can summon all but very limited. And it not like he can, it the summoning respond to him and offer a help than he can do that, like the one in this boss match. It's pretty odd to see a canon crossover between two different versions of summons from two separate games. Does this mean that garuda from 14 is technically weaker than the Garuda of 15?

We don't know how strong is FFXIV Garuda in FFXV, because in FFXIV the power of the primal (in this case, Garuda) depends of the amount of aether, crystals and prayers used to the make the summon and the primal gets weaker the less you use... so tecnically any FFXIV summon can be stronger or weaker than the others.
A shame I couldn't enjoy this summon when I was playing the game. She looks awesome, Ramuh is going to have to share his thunder with her now. It would be a pleasant surprise if she had a second attack like him as well.

Maybe tempering doesn't work in the XV world? Either that or the main cast is just immune/has something similar to the echo. Noct does have plot armor for days.
She's literally fighting the Chosen King aka the King of Light. He is literally Godlike himself. Noctis is arguably the most powerful character in FF mythos

The XV version of Garuda. She even has a similar build to XIV Garuda and uses wind.
It's pretty odd to see a canon crossover between two different versions of summons from two separate games. Does this mean that garuda from 14 is technically weaker than the Garuda of 15?
@@kingarthurpendragon134 Summons in FFXIV are more complicated. We don't know how strong is FFXIV Garuda in FFXV, because in FFXIV the power of the primal (in this case, Garuda) depends of the amount of aether, crystals and prayers used to the make the summon and the primal gets weaker the less you use... so tecnically any FFXIV summon can be stronger or weaker than the others.
Miguel Morais true, I wish there was more to astrals as characters in FF15, they just are never that elaborated on within the campaign.
Plus, you know, home field Garuda advantage here. The 14 version was called from and only had access to the energies sacrificed to it.

@@chobu22 Technically they weren't fighting, they were all behind and us alongside the 2 NPC with the echo were shielding them on the front
Maybe tempering doesn't work in the XV world? Either that or the main cast is just immune/has something similar to the echo. Noct does have plot armor for days.
She's literally fighting the Chosen King aka the King of Light. He is literally Godlike himself. Noctis is arguably the most powerful character in FF mythos
We could have Garuda for Monster Hunter World fighting along side Kushala, see which one is the strongest.
