Great video! Would love to see a basic routing of one of your hardware like the LA2A and how that can cohesively work with everything. I definitely learned some things I didn’t know about routing in protools especially with midi! Your process of explaining was spot on too
goated video bro! i’m an ableton user getting into protools & manual sends/returns has had me stuck for minute! protools don’t let you do shit without routing it yourself 😂
Well explained. Won't find a simpler explanation. But really Protools need to get rid of all this eventually. Almost every other Daw makes this like 1 or 2 clicks without having to create auxes, buses and rerouting ins and outs.
Good point but protools is highly detailed in customisation. I,think its d to the fact they really specialise in sound for film and television. As well as tracking audio. I don't use it to produce or wrote my self. Just a thought, but you do have a point with all the go here than go there jazz . 😉

@@waynewav plus its my loptop its not able to use protools so yea its a set back i use to use studio one but u made logic simple so u delete it n stick to logic pro x 10.4.8 im using thata all my loptop can install
man I'm struggling with signal flow I know how to group the tracks together but trying to send the signal flow to the aux track I'm getting frustrated with it
Can We get a Video on how to transition Verses to Hooks or vise versa Are there certain types of techniques or is it just a matter of volume leveling meaning perhaps having the hook a db or two louder then the verse
it's half writing half production and timing, usually for pop music it'll make the track stitch together better if you put sections right into each other (not many instrumentals) I can help with arrangement stuff
