I'm so glad there is a chance I can run into you both randomly while I run around between game design pitches to publishers and hopefully I remember to do the "secret handshake" from now until then, I hope your travel is safe and uneventful.
I look forward to making funny hand signs, though it's a massive convention! Also, I've got my own board game, "Gun It", that's soon to be released. It's not competitive, but if you're scheduling any demos, I'd love to show you! (Wasn't sure the best way to reach out.)
I remember watching your first video from Essen. I have been enjoying the videos ever since. I hope I get chance to say hi and thank you at Gen Con. Lot's of people there but lot less then Essen, so chances are higher.
Looking forward to say hello and give you all the secret handshake after we fly into Gen Con on Wednesday. The hand signal is also lovingly referred to as the 'Queen Anne's Fan' or 'cocking a snook'. I hope your US travel tour beforehand was eventful.
My game Chronicles of Light JUST got added to the BGG Gen Con preview list today. I hope you get a chance to check it out at the Ravensburger booth, I will be there demoing it every day 😅 👋
I need to have Rock Hard 1977! I just red that the designer of the game is Jackie Fox, who was the basist of the very first all-female rockband The Runaways (did you see the movie?). So if she Rocks, hopefully the game Rocks even harder!! th-cam.com/video/HYxUAeEs8mE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fhV7wIrejHMI_5h2
I feel it's a weirdly weak year for GenCon games. Aside from Rock Hard and a few titles you haven't listed, I can't seem to be excited about anything. It's part of the reason I last minute cancelled my visit this year.
Ok im in, I’ll take your recommendations as to what i’m looking forward to. I’m a lighter to mid weight gamer and I love card games and long walks on the beach 😂.
@@BoardGamingRamblingsOh for sure. I have Cities of Metropolis on my list as well , Nocturne and possibly Cities and some card and dice games. I tend to go towards lighter to mid weight games myself. Enjoy the states lots to see and explore and maybe i’ll see you guys at the Con.

@@BoardGamingRamblings Is Martin coming?
Looking forward to meeting you all at Gen Con. I'm excited for two games there: Arcs and Galactic Cruise.
We have Arcs on the way in the mail! Very intrigued by it for sure. Galactic Cruise is fantastic!
See you there :D
@@matt7912-j9p Do you think Galactic Cruise will just be for demo?
Yes
We're gonna need you guys to be carrying around, say 50 or so, balloons so we can make sure to find you two! :)

Good luck on your game! We’ll try to come by and say hi 🤩
Spiel preview is out now I started sorting from now 😁
Yeah, I just saw that 😅 Need to start working on that when we get home!
Woahhhh War Story sounds so good!
Oh, I hope Gnome Hollow has a great puzzle - not too easy. I love easy to play, but brain burning games. Looking forward to hearing how you liked it.
Me too! It looks so nice!
Have fun in the US and GenCon
Thank you so much!

Seems like a very interesting origin story for a game! I’m very much intrigued! 🤩
I'm a BGG and a singer in a hardrockband. Even if this game sucks, I will treasure it in my collection 😂🤘🤘

Bacon!
@@BoardGamingRamblings it's true!
Fateforge 🔥
😊🤚 I’ll be keeping an eye out to give the secret sign.
Looking forward to see you there!

I don't really have anything to compare it to. A lot of good looking games, but not too many I am extremely excited for!
