  • I am feeling much better hooray!
I'm currently reading "The Universe In Your Hand : A Journey Through Space, Time and Beyond" by Christophe Galfard. I really recommend it.
I talk about including different MBTI types in different areas, being more inclusive. Yes i am aware that we are not discriminated against as mbti types and i don't mean to diminish the impact of -isms such as racism, sexism etc. INFPs are important in different areas.
Also shout out to our friend Bufo, what a strange coincidence!

It's really lovely to hear you received that praise from your supervisor. I can only imagine how much courage it takes to speak up and stand up for what you feel is right at those doctors' meetings. All too often, the quiet people that do important work behind the scenes are taken for granted. I am in awe of how well you deal with certain challenges.

You definitely are doing something very special by being an INFP doctor, which I’m guessing is pretty underrepresented in medicine. Especially when you consider that ‘healer’ side of being an INFP. Even if people don’t know what an INFP is as a concept , I think a lot of people will unconsciously register this fact about you and appreciate it a lot :)

    Hello Ingrid,
Good to see you again friend.
    Wow that's really interesting!
It seems you will keep reminding me that you don't like my field of study 😅
Well the E=mc^2 is not even the full formula 😅 this is only holds for objects that have mass unlike photon that doesn't have mass for example.
It's time dilation and contraction of lengths.
By the way even for physics students some formula can be cryptic especially for advanced physics 😅
    Sorry for being nerdy 😅
It's good that meetings are getting well.
Oh yes I do dwell on negative things for so long even though I have friends ( like you 😊) that gave me praise.
Yes diversity is something good to have. I feel that in science sometimes we lack this usually people came from families that already have some background in science ( parents have high education diploma, good financial status...) and sometimes I feel alone because I have chaotic history with many challenges so I don't find people to whom I can relate.
You should be proud of yourself Ingrid. It's heartwarming to see a doctor like you outside of the stereotypical doctors that disdain patients and lack empathy.
Also not yo brag but I guess I'm in a similar situation at least to some extent. I come from a very different place compared to my many people in my field even fellow students. I have always felt I'm an odd person and a weirdo and it has been and still a big struggle.
It's good you brought up the topic of discrimination. Sometimes it's even something systamic and embedded in the laws themselves. I have been confronted to a situation recently where my application got rejected just because of my nationality.
The problem with diversity in physics is really complicated because the barriers can be huge especially if you have been through rough circumstances not to mention if you are a foreigner and more true for a foreign woman coming from a patriarchal society.
I would say the same with people willing to study science especially feelers. It can be very hard to cope with some cold-hearted people in the field but it's time we have scientist who use their hearts besides their brains so we can have a better world.
Thanks again for the honest talk it's always appreciated.
Have a good evening and good night when you go to sleep Ingrid 😊
