Those are half free morels they come up just before the real morels definitely go back and check that spot in a few days they're growing off of all those dead small apple trees on the Moss there. Me and my wife picked 25 lb yesterday through Minnesota

Last week of October and the first 3 weeks of November are my favorite month. You can keep them May Skeeter's, tick's, gnat's and chiggers.

This weekend was my first weekend using FFS for just crappie...not even fair how good it is! Bass fishing it's helpful, but it feels like cheating with crappie :)
What were the water temps near you/ your area?
@@sobifishing Northern WI. Low 50's. Crappie were 10-15. Walleye were already through their pre-spawn locations in our lakes. If you see my post in Bassheads, Musky were also post spawn :)
I definitely agree that May is the best month of the whole year everything from fishing to shroomin , if you haven’t tried Golden oysters, they are typically in the same areas and same times as Morels but grow in clusters on dead trees they look like yellow funnels and have gills on the underside , do a little research, but they are just as good as Morels in fact I can’t tell the difference .

We haven’t had many ticks, but a lot of my pals that turkey hunt said it’s been a bumper crop yr for ticks 🐞

Last spring, a mushroom similar in looks to a morel popped up in my front yard. But it was covered in green slime and smelled like absolute sh*t. Turns out, it was a Stinkhorn Mushroom. Look it up. They are disgusting!

Hahahah that’s a great question, idk it just feels like you’re hunting and it’s quite in the woods so I think we tend to whisper. 😂😅
I feel like fishing in fishing tournaments so soon after those two guys got slaps on the wrist for stuffing weights down their fish is immature. Your letting your excitement override your common sense which says that the entire fishing community saw those two guys cheat and get off easy which means there's other anglers out there who are going to take the risk cheating because they know nothing serious is going to happen to them. When you only live once I don't see the point in spending so much time practicing for something that's so easy for someone else to cheat at. Good channel though btw
