    Got a taiji ball recently been practicing circulating for a few days, slowly getting better. It's because this video I learned this and about the paths of qi, like the fire path is basically the microcosmic orbit. So this is a very useful training practice!

    Great job Dr Yang sir. I love everything I see here and even though some of them are really hectic, I have learnt so much and I don't know if I would ever need a teacher. I am in Nigeria.

    É muito estranho para mim ver alguém ensinando algo que faço a muito tempo, usando a bola para alongamento na massoterapia.

    Taiji Ruler! With the Ball!
    I have never actually seen it done with a ball, only heard about it.
    When I learned, I was told first you start with the ruler, to learn how its done. Then you practice in the air with nothing, untill perfect. Once perfect, then you start adding the ball for more weight. So I use a bowling ball today.

    • @Ymaa_Publication_Center
      @Ymaa_Publication_Center  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The ruler simulates the human arm, from the wrist to the elbow. A ball is more focused on whole body movement and development, and Jing skills of attaching, adhering, listening, and other skills like coiling & neutralizing.

      這個人在他的YMAA網頁上列出的楊式太極拳師承的名字,沒一個是楊澄甫有正式記錄的關門弟子,卻貼出照片像是楊家弟子。 他說向李茂清學太極,更是不正確。 李茂清專長是北派少林,我當年就是和李茂清學少林,有同學問少林拳和太極拳不同之處在哪,李茂清回說,你把少林拳打慢一點不就是太極了? 聽了我差點暈倒! 這個人騙外國人不懂,招搖撞騙,有個老外在它另一個TH-cam 視频也問到他師承問題,結果他手下的人出來忽悠過去。 他那一套武術看起來是自己將所學混起來唬老外的。

    And do not do this the first time with a 12 pound medicine ball like me. I was in pain for three days as I aggravated and old hernia surgery.

      OMG no! Even barehanded the first week or two, these movements alone will use muscles you didn't know exist.
