Obvious to many but a nice clear statement. Also too many of us forget to check the bike before we leave. And yes, I have forgotten to check the rim caliper has been closed after arriving somewhere setting.
Good video. Are there any upgrades planned on this bike? A video showing a dropper post install and wiring would be a great video for people new to doing their own bike maintenance.
This is a good question, if I was to race it again I think I would use my MTB race wheels. I think it would make a great base for upgrades and would be a fun and fast xC hardtail.
I interpret this as you're trying to make something out of nothing and the emoji you've used only emphasises this. It's the only bolt on the bike that has an NM rating and the only one a consumer wanting to ride for the first time actually needs to tighten before heading out.
Hey Chris, nice bike! Are you happy with the bike and wich size has the bike? And how tall are you from your bodysize respectivelly your inseam? Nice greetings from Germany. :-)
New bike day is a good day, nice colour 😊👍🏻👍🏻
It is always a good day and definitely a very good colour!
Nicely done Chris, the only thing I would add is put grease on pedal threads, to stop pedals getting stuck on when they rust.
That is a very good point 🤦♂️😅 definitely better with a little grease!

Thank you. It was always my final pre race check with QR wheels 😅 like a list minute panic check.

Feel as though you stressed the torque point on the top cap after the St Pirans/Lapierre drama 😉

bumping question :)
Are Lapierre and Raleigh partners?
Yes, Raleigh distribute Lapierre in the UK. And lots of other brands, too.
@@chrisopie87 Thank you, I didn't know of Lapierre till they featured on your channel!
