To be fair, the Wario Cup gave Get It Together! a ton of longevity for me; I put over 25 hours into it. And I still have the missions to do. It's a huge shame Move It! doesn't have them. Granted, I got over 45 hours out of Gold - it's definitely the most robust package in the series - but Get It Together! isn't half-bad in the content department

And the reason why all the elevator levels are small is because they’re required in order to actually get that content.

Another WarioWare, another entry where Penny is uncontestedly the best character; even as she was relegated to a literal side-character in this, they still made her cuteness pop out.

7:51 the W stands for "wide" as that's what pyoro becomes when you eat the food

It could also stand for "Weight", but "Wide" sounds funnier to me somehow.

Actually, in Japan W is used to indicate 'double' (Japanese name of Double Date from Rhythm Heaven Fever is 'W Date') and this is the first Pyoro game with multiplayer!

7:16 perhaps it means "Pyoro Watch"
which kind of makes sense and doesnt at the same time in the same place in the same world as in the same game.

I am Polish, can confirm we're skinwalkers and it's not even the strangest tradition in this country.
And ye, out of all games that came out this year, this one is my prime contender for more DLC or anything, 5 modes are unplayable in single player and when the game works, it's amazing, but it gets incredibly repetitive over time. It really feels like we've hit the Gold with WarioWare Gold and it'd take a game of similar or bigger scale to justify the price.

Welp. This feels like it can be a summer movie. Maybe they will announce the date of the movie, but then have to “Move It” because of one big issue. Like the Sonic Movie

  • @scopicaplays

IMO, this should've been the launch title instead of 1-2 Switch, because who the heck uses Hand Model?
But yeah! WarioWare: Move It is my second-favorite in the franchise, right behind Gold. What do you think, Skawo? The age old question: Do you think Move It is better than Smooth Moves?
Kevin Afghani's Wario definitely warmed me up over time. The trailer was kinda bad, but hearing him speak more than one sentence solidified him as a good successor to Charles.
Well, it's time I disappear from your channel once more. Either for a new WarioWare game, or to remind you about pulling up the tutorial against Smithy. Until next time!

I’m still very surprised that a warioware switch game wasn’t made much earlier in the switch’s lifespan. Warioware practically acts like a tutorial on how to utilize a gimmick from a Nintendo console

    3:16 Love the Startropics reference!
6:58 I would've unlocked every single microgame regardless but still, good to know doing it unlocks this, too.
7:14 I've seen it already mentioned in the comments but yeah, it most certainly stands for "double" as "W" is shorthand for that in Japanese and you have two islands/controllers.
12:56 I still enjoyed the story of Get It Together despite the cutscenes about which I absolutely agree. The microgames here were clever indeed and I agree that Move It manages to set itself apart from Smooth Moves because of all you mentioned... except for its length which is unfortunately about the same as I suspected.
By the way, I have to disagree about the lack of content of Get It Together because while it was certainly no Gold it still had longevity in its own way thanks to the Wario Cup and the unlockables in addition to what you said about the multiplayer.
15:39 One more reason why they really should put Twisted on NSO!

  • @FUSusanWonk
    @FUSusanWonk ปีที่แล้ว +2

Weird theory about W in Pyoro W: it might mean “double”? W is a shorthand for double in Japanese and you use a pair of joycons in this. Consequently, the Gift Giver stance is actually called “double on hand” in Japanese, so it might be related.

7:15 probably just stands for double, as in 2, since the 2 joycons and all, japan likes to do this thing of using the letter W as a stand in for double, example being, Kamen Rider W, his name is pronounced "double" but its officially written as W, why? well saying double in engrish ends up sounding a lot like W, yknow "daburu"

Now that _Move It!_ has been completed, which WarioWare game do you have your sights on next, Skawo?
If I had to guess, I'd say one of the GBA games would be next (that's _Mega Microgame$_ and _Twisted_ for anyone who doesn't know which games I'm talking about).
Pretty sure we won't be getting another WarioWare game so quickly, tho, but I can wait for it. Your other gameplay vids have kept me entertained for this long, anyways, and that ain't stopping now.

@@Skawo I know you probably wouldn't want to use this for a video series, but the emulator mGBA natively supports the gyroscope of Switch Pro Controllers for use in the gyroscope gba games. I recently played through all of Twisted that way, and aside from not having the actual screen rotate (and Wario De Mambo being even more of a bastard), it was pretty functional. Worth checking out if only as a curiosity.

Yeah, I love warioware, and I would probably boot this game uo every once in a while if I got it, but right now there's no way I'm buying this at full price. It looks very fun, but it's very short, my joycons' SL and SR button stopped working, making a few microgames impossible, and I can't play multiplayer with my brother since it requires TWO sets of joycons that we don't have. Will pick it up on a sale or something.

Uh, completely different games but ok?
Plus honestly GiT had way more stuff and replayability over this, which unless you have friends for the MP modes is VERY short-lived. So if you really really had to compare the two, GiT if anything seems more complete than Move It relatively.
Sure, Move It in general is carried by the Smooth Moves nostalgia and overall plays like a traditional WarioWare game whereas GiT experimented a little, but still. Far too little going for it, in my opinion.
