James one more question once I have the Lascaux white how can I increase the opacity (thicker)in the white without compromising the flourescent? This will be used in a paint pen for signatures so the first strokes have to count. Thank you in advance if you could help 🙏
I would mix it 50:50 with a titanium white to increase the opacity it will affect the fluorescence a touch but it will will still work, you may need to tweak the ratio to get the effect you want though
Great question, most fluorescents are not light fast so will lose colour when exposed to sunlight. BUT you can protect them with specialist varnishes, however most art light fastness is based on canvas art which is typically displayed in bright areas for decades. So it’s less relavent for minis, I have had some minis painted like this on my shelf for over a decade.

Wildfire paints are my favorite, yet a little on the expensive side...advertised as prop and theatre effect paint but a highly slept on brand that will always be my goto are sax brand neon acrylic. They are the most opaque and vibrant colors I've ever worked with
And I must say I'm thoroughly surprised and impressed with what you covered in this video....I scower (sp? )TH-cam for blacklight enthusiast videos and uv paint reviews that always seem to dissapoint...however your video layout is well done and the info you narrated was the most detailed, opinionated, and demonstrated of any I've seen....kudos

Florescent do not GLOW... Glow is phosphorescent. Messing when the light is taken away they still show.. fluorescent paint did not do this. It only shows with light on it.
I guess it depends where you buy and in what quantity, where I am Lascaux is minimum £22 for an 85ml bottle, golden you can find for £10 (albeit for 30ml) but you only need 30ml or less for mini painting

Golden high flow acrylics are the best airbrush paints I’ve ever used.
Yup, they only down side is the gloss, but that can be fixed with matte varnish as needed
It’s not even that bad out of an airbrush, and if you are doing something like OSL it’s not even a bad thing.

Yes! Wholeheartedly yes, they are the best fluorescents I have ever used, the white I use less though, the pink is incredible though

Yes, but the SoFlat range is very good if you are starting from scratch, I just find the High Flow to me more convenient
If you are using the fluorescents through and airbrush it’s not really an issue.

Sorry I'm in a loud place but do these glow under a black light once shinned on and not after the light is of it, mainly if the white one does.
All the Lascaux ones did, half the pro acryl. The white 💯 does

The scale 75 fluoro red isn't even fluorescent
Indeed it’s not fluoro it’s just very bright.
It's not miniature paint but Liquitex have some fluorescent paint.
Most do, I unfortunately couldn’t test all of them
Green stuff world has white florescent paint.
