This set is easily just a Tcg player set and not a collectors set. I think some people need to remember these cards are related to an actual card game and that’s the main focus not how much a card goes on secondary market

Ace Spec cards are the biggest deal from this set. It's the first set post-rotation. Not really geared for collectors. But! The artwork throughout is really good! Like really good. I'm going to be happy just filling up my binder with the commons, uncommons, and regular rares.
The set looks legit from an art standpoint. Most ppl probably won’t care since it doesn’t have the nostalgia factor of gen 1 or 2 pokemon. Great video!

Hopefully the next holiday set will be all 2nd gen like they did for 151. I think that would bring alot of folks back as well. I grew up with the original pokemon that started it all but really ready to see gen 2 get some love. Have not got a dedicated set like that since neo.
I still remember the Team UP, Unbroken Bonds, Unified Minds S&M era. This box looks loaded compared to any of those S&M sets, even if you remove Iron Crown EX.

Pokémon overprinting now, increase in costs to retailer too. Most people that I’ve collected with have pretty much cut back or stopped buying all together. Good for players I suppose but bad for retailers and collectors.
BF and I cracked open a booster box each and ended up with a lot of pulls, managed to get all base set card version, but few SIR and hyper rares, however we didn't get any duplicate hits! Personally been having a lot of fun opening this set, and we're now hunting for the singles to master set it.
I pulled 1 illustration rare from a 6 booster pack. I like this set, I think it’s a better set than some of the sword and shield ones, simply for the art.
If Pokemon wants to feature newer Pokemon, I feel like they should make the pull rates a little better than Temporal Forces. However in this set, the chase cards are not very popular Pokemon. I didn't even buy a booster box for this set and just some bundles. I lost some interest in opening packs
No way did my man just pull the Iron Leaves ex from an Iron Leaves pack art, AND last pack magic! That was crazy! That box was definitely loaded, especially compared to mine where I didn't even get a secret rare.
Some amazing pulls! I only had enough money for a 3 pack blister that I found early at Walmart, but sadly only got the Walking Wake regular EX. Fun to see others get some good pulls though!

I really like this sets SAR cards compared to obsidian flames and paradox rift but the pull rates were a pain 😢 4 booster boxes in a row i didnt pull any SAR or any gold card. All in all i got 2 SAR and 1 gold card from 242 packs. But at least every reverse holo and almost every fullart. Only 2 left. But moneywise you better buy singles as always

My enjoyment for opening packs is probably a lot higher than most people because I am satisfied with just getting full arts of any variety.

Not bad! I think the full art cards are underrated though. They are fairly rare and pretty good looking. Yet the scizor is only 2 dollars!

I realy like the Scizor Full Art. It's one of the best "regular" Full Art cards in my opinion.
