Good morning my friend. I’m just enjoying your trips with the family. Mina is growing so fast but I still see you having a wonderful time with her. Well Todd I’ll let you go for now and I’d like to thank you for taking us along with you on these amazing adventures. Cheers mate.😊
Very large market shop for clothing and general goods. Outstanding for vegetables fruits and fresh meats. Even with the rain it's busy. Stay safe and healthy Todd Neenee and little Mina.
Hi Todd, It is very nice to follow your life in Laos. You can really feel your love for the country. After more than 30 years in Thailand, I also have many stories to tell, so I can relate to a lot of things. Above all, life with the family and the many everyday little things are a pleasure. All the best to you and your family.
Wow Todd! those markets are something else. I bet that's were all the juicy gossip comes from (hehe ) . Is this the biggest Market in the area ? Be Well Guys ! Stay out of the hot sun. No problem with all the rain coming down. All the best 👍👍 Jim and Harriet
Hello Todd, what an interesting place you have shown us today, and having watched all your videos I can honestly say the market shown is by far the best you have shown on your Now in Lao channel. The region and town is definitely on my bucket list places to visit. Thank you for another exceptional informative video. / Al👍🏻
Hey, Todd! Wow do I love the markets and the people. That's one thing I miss so much about living in China. Well, at least Laos isn't in need of rain this year and soon you'll be able to get out more and explore. Stay dry and stay safe. As Big Loop E 4 washes away, the sun will shine and bring about Big Loop 5. See you then, Todd!
Wow! That is a interesting place to shop for sure. Todd really enjoyed that place for sure look like it had some tasty treats And I noticed some of the sellers looked slightly different in features. Cool intuitive video buddy 👍🏽🤙🏽
Hey brother! I love that market too,,I could spend a day or 4 exploring that joint ,,flirting with the pretty storekeepers lol guawpa baby gwapa!😂😅. I've been gone,,so to speak,,since Friday at 5:30 pm. My giant puppy at my internet cable. Got it repaired today,,Tuesday afternoon. Such a puppy,,but he weighs 60 plus pounds more than 32 k. He's a piglet too,,when he smells something,,he thinks it belongs to him. I'm nervous about the Mina crying video😢,, I'm so busy catching up,,I probably wont comment anymore. If I ever made it to Lao,,I'd want to spend a day at that market. You guys take care,,,Ttyl,,,Marlon ❤❤❤
Shared to my brother who leave at lak sao. I bought pen and paper at the same lady for his kid going to school.❤ danderous Mountain raod😅 nice video from lao❤
Todd do you have a voltage converter in the Troopy so you can charge batteries and phones while you're driving? Just thinking for you and Neenee it would be a good thing. Stay well.
G'Day mate. I am a new subbie. Where are you from in Aussie mate and do you now live in Laos? I am based in Brissie but have a lovely wife in southern-North east Thailand. The language is very similar to Isaan as I found out when we went to Laos (and could hear in the videos). Very happy to find a new channel like this mate :) .
Hey Daz! Great to have you along mate, thanks. From Newcastle mate (actually Cessnock, but that's between you and me ok 😆) Yes, you're right. I think you'll find mist of the Isaan people are more Lao than they are Thai. Do you get to travel to Thailand very often? What city? Anyway, glad ya found and enjoying the channel. Cheers mate 🍻
@@NowinLao Yes mate, I get to travel a couple of times a year. Mostly for about 4 to 5 weeks to see wife who lives in Sisaket ( Khun Han). I was about to say 'We live in' 555'. Laos is an amazing place to visit (the mountains are stunning!!!) that many people and vloggers (that I see) do not vlog from so well done. Newcastle is actually one of my favorite places in Aus. I am sure you will know Queens Wharf? Good fishing down there and amazing views. No judgement on Cessnock at all from me. Looking forward to more journeys.
Is scan to pay with a QR code available as a payment option in these markets (like in Thailand) oh can you use a Thai bank to pay for QR code payments in Laos?
What kind of driver`s license do you need to drive around Laos and Cambodia? Can a person rent a car with only a CDN or USA DL? How much is it to rent a car or P/U truck?
An international license would be ideal.. you can grab that from your AAA. If not, your American Motor vehicle license will still allow you to hire a vehicle. SUV about $60 a day. Smaller sedans cheaper.
Big market for a smaller town must have a good district draw to it. If you don't get the rain how can you keep troopie clean mate. Mena has become your copycat with the ockerisms and all. Bushyboy Oz.
You guy must be obsessed with Vietnam. I was denied entry in Vietnam... the market has merchandise from Vietnam... here is Lak Sao and out there Vietnam... pay a visit there guy 😂😂😂
I can never get tired of the market videos... love em Todd...
Looks like the greatest grocery store in the world.

Great video and a cracking market, Todd.
I was there in 2010 when I did the loop solo with a hand drawn map from the backpacker hostel in Thakhek

👍🙂🙏
Muddy market you should do a show on that
You have a clever little girl there Todd.
Mina didn’t ask for money up front, she got the purse first. Then she knew the money was a sure thing!
😆👍
She's so smart, picks up everything

Sure mate.. been using them for years. No way we'd get the amount of video we do without one 👍

I wonder how much the GOLD sells for ?
Hey mate … that is a seriously well laid out sizeable market there . Any reason for multiple gold vendors.?
It's the same in any market you go to in Laos.. you will see a section where all there is is gold vendors.. dozens of them! No idea why
I believe they can do exchange currency, as well ..
@@KennoRob better rate than the banks 👌
@@NowinLao Used to be around 15% in my neck of the woods (Pakxan), However these days less than 5%.Are you doing better in VT?

The woman did not think a farang would understand 250,000 kip in Lao.
You're right 😉👍
