Some are arguably better than the Booster Course Pass since those custom tracks are fully using assets from MK8 instead of borrowing heavily from Tour.

The addition of bar party in Airship Fortress is the coolest thing I've ever seen, especially for a 2005 track. So many other tracks are stunning too!

Now hero is Cheep Cheep Cape is how you implement anti-gravity to a course! No weird camera or anything!
These are incredible! The recreation of Bowser's Castle from the GameCube is perfect! And Toad's Factory is amazing to see remade! Also, the Super Mario World Themed level! All of these courses look gorgeous!
Cheep Cheep Cove, Toad's Factory, and Moonview Highway all look like they could be in the base game.
I liked what SNES Bowser's Castle 3 was going for when bringing the track to 3D, but it could have some more polish in the visual department.
MK8 CTs are getting consistently better! It's interesting to note that the original designs are generally far superior to ports of retro tracks

When I saw cheap cheap cove at the beginning I thought that it was sky sanctuary from sonic3 and knuckles.

N64 Luigi Raceway looks good i like how the creator made the graphics look decent.
This makes me want Toad Factory in the BCP or the next Mario kart game.

A bit of nitpicking, the track played on SNES Bowser Castle was for GBA Bowser Castle, the SNES version us a remix of the Bowser battle from Super Mario World, but apart from that, these look really well done

Cheep cheep cove looks so cool. A better version of water park.
All of these look really great but it really irks me how every mario kart 8 custom track creator these days just pukes coins all over the track. It makes the entire point of coins trivial if there's a coin patch every five feet. Some things are better in moderation, and it could really help some of these track designs if the coins were in more strategic locations, or located on alternate routes that take longer to drive through but reward you with more coins. The creators need to start thinking about coins the same way they think about item boxes.
That moment at 4:00 really stands out as a "this track creator had no clue what to do with the level to make it feel more modern, so they just sprayed the track with coins and called it a day". I counted 46 individual coins on that single turn. It shouldn't have any more than 15, and certainly doesn't need any more than that.

Damn there are some really nice tracks there! I love the Mario Kart 8 style takes on Sherbet Land, Toad’s Factory and Wario Colosseum especially!
And the others are great too! Does make me wonder how these versions of London Loop and 3DS Rainbow Road will compare to the official ones we’re getting tomorrow though…
I think London Loop is gonna play really similar, but with 3DS Rainbow Road I think the booster course pass version will play a lot different. We'll see!
