Great review! I like it when you use the Gundam marker to get into the grooves of certain Marvel Legends figures. I did that with my Alex Ross Iron Man, High Evolutionary and Shocker figures, after viewing your videos because I really liked the look of that. You turned me onto that, and I really appreciate it, man! It's sad to do the work that Hasbro should have already done in the first place, but since I'm a model builder, sculptor and action figure customizer, I guess I don't mind it to much. That said, I've never been a big fan of this armor. It just has a feminine-vibe to it that I've never liked much. The waist is so narrow that the shoulders and hip shapes kind of give it an hourglass kind of form that doesn't work for me as Iron Man. I know the movie armors are based on this look, but I'm not overly fond of them either. I prefer the simpler, classic comic book looks for the character, personally. I feel like Alex Ross's version, though overly detailed, still works pretty well because it has the right heroic look and classic nods. Having said that, I have drawn many different versions of Iron Man over the years, and I can say that I have had fun drawing the movie style Iron Man armor on some occasions. Here's one time that I did. I hope you enjoy the image: www.lostonwallace.com/ironmanbirthday.jpg www.lostonwallace.com/ironmanbirthdaycolor.jpg
I get what u mean about the Extremis armor. I like variations though. But I can see what u mean by enjoying drawing a certain aesthetic. And nice artwork! Thanks for dropping by
@@xcorpeo I'm a big fan of the channel, man. You do great reviews, and I find them always to be thought provoking, honest and to the point. I'm glad that you liked the drawing. If you google my work, you'll see that I actually draw in many styles, as I worked doing licensing books for DC Comics, RPGs, action figure packaging, etc.
thanks for sharing these articulation enhancement as more and more western action figure makers ignore ab crunch in favor of clean sculpts. Will you be covering Captain America?
if i may suggest if it doesn't much work from you, if you can have the before mod and after mod photos side by side insets whenever you have a mod video. great mod tutorial as always
Really nice improvements on the extremis figure, It looks so much better definitely. I really don't like it's upper torso, chest and shoulders are narrow, for me that takes all heroic shape away from the character.
Thanks Xcorpeo. Those mods really improve the figure. I know the colours are pretty close to Adi Granov's art, but man does it look washed out compared to the other two figs. I like my comic book characters to be saturated with colour.

@@lostonwallace1396 my dude u have a Wikipedia page 😲 very versatile styles and even on vitruvian hacks packaging. That's a body of work!

Let me open him first and see what I can do
@@xcorpeo I hear his torso is made of harder plastic, might be tougher to pull apart
Always absolutely awesome modifications!
Woooo Weeee that panel lining looks sweet. Nice work X !
The mods I’ve been waiting to see you tackle, I’m definitely gonna try these mods as well once I get mine

My bad I forgot to do it this time!
The red of 3D model is so beautiful, the same red in comics.
Well done. I'm looking forward to HasbroPulse delivering mine so that I can do the same as well 🤘🖤
Excellent job. ❤️

Great work man, i'll definitely be doing something similar when i grab one!
There is also a brown Gundam marker designed for red plastics. I wonder if it works with the Iron Man figures.
Thanks bruh!
Yeah, this armour design has potential, but it's a dud in this current release. Let's see what re-deco it gets down the line.
There's gonna be Iron patriot for sure
A New FIGURE!!!!!

Yeah and as a consequence the fine pencils in his art aren't translated well into figure form - the details are kinda lost. Thanks for watching
@@xcorpeo keep making the vids. I enjoy your reviews, comparisons and modifications.
Honestly, I don’t know which iron man figure is better. The modular armor or the extremis armor?
I might try that
What tool did you use to remove the plastic in the torso?
What did you use to shave that bit of plastic off?
Hi I recently got him and his right arm won’t go completely down
Any tips to fix?
i’m curious, what did you use to cut out the plastic?:)
Dremel or any rotary tool with spherical diamond bit
Do you need to add a paint sealer after using that Gundam marker?
Nope, just let it sit for a day. The plastic will absorb it. And the lines are mostly recessed, so no risk of rubbing off
Did you boil it to take apart or just use hot water from the sink?
Hairdryer for a minute or two, no need to boil water
What tool did you use to make the torso mod?
Rotary grinding tool or dremel with a diamond spherical bit
billions dollar toy company. Couldnt figure out simple articulations
