You know, I actually ‘miss’ this Gordon. Untouched by US TV, we saw more of his raw sense of humour, he made a heck of a lot of shows for us Brits back then. I used to love his live Christmas broadcasts, they were always a blast; mixed with different celebrity (friends) guests & his family.
He’s still lovely of course, but everything is very dramatised for TV purposes these days.. ah. Good ol’ days.
The first F word was great with Gordon. Oh and when the F Word had Marco Pierre White! The presenter was also hilarious and very deadpan (famous british actor, cant remember his name...) The boiling point era days were great to watch

I think we took shows like that for granted back then because our TV screens were a bit oversaturated with them, but I don’t ‘alf miss them, compared to the shit we have on now anyway!

His series with Gino and Fred on a road trip was pretty fantastic, though, saw a lot of humour and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I loved the concept of a lads road trip where everyone genuinely seemed to get along incorporated with cooking.
