'Voice Over' Holly is hilariously impatient with 'Sewing Holly' and I love it! 😁 As a non fan of doing zippers, I must say, the zipper tape method shown here seems pretty doable! Thanks Holly!
These Clam Up pouches turned out so cute! Nice work there. Also, thanks for the much-needed laughs this morning 🙂. In lieu of a stiletto, I’ve seen people using the flat end of their Purple Thang to keep their fingers safe (and Lauren on her Sew Whatever channel used a flat head screwdriver on a recent bag-making session for a backpack). ❤
As I watch it is at 2.99K - and I’m over here wondering which of my friends is up this early to come like the channel. LOL! You rock, and I feel like you will hit 3K today! I absolutely love your channel.
These little bags are adorable! I have a couple people in mind for Christmas gifts. Zippers aren't hard to put in, but it's always made me cringe when a pattern calls for one. You made this look super doable and i appreciate you doing this video. p.s. I have the same face hair cutting thingy you do. lol I'm so glad we're friends and hope you have a fantabulous weekend! xoxo
Thank you holly iv never made a bag of any sort before and I wasn’t sure I could do it, but watching this has totally made me think I can, so thank you from the UK I’m off to buy the pattern xxx
Okay so this was the funniest video you’ve ever done. I was laughing my head off listening to you critique yourself. So refreshing when people dont take themselves too seriously. And great video too. Ive got the materials to make about a dozen of those bad boys and now Im ready to get started. :)
I loved it when you "yeeted" the extra rocket ships etc out of the way! My daughters always call out "YEET" when they throw something or when they kicker tries for a field goal. The second his foot his the ball.....YEET!!!!! So please feel free to use that phrase whenever you'd like. I'll be here laughing when you do! 😂😂😂😂 (don't ask me where that ever started.....but it's become a family tradition! Lol) Lives the bad. I'm a little afraid of zippers but this way seems easy ish??? Makes me almost want to try. Maybe on a straight piece to start. Need to build some confidence first. 😉
You make the most enjoyable, adorable voice overs. You should be hired! Oh, I remember the moon tabbies you received. Was that the “the girl from ipanema” you were humming? Cute fabric. Definitely I am going to make them someday.
I am shocked that you could recognize that song from my pathetic humming! It was the first "elevator music" song that came to mind. Extra points for you!
Holly, I forwarded an e-mail to you that I received from a scammer. FYI, I didn't enter. If you don't have a stiletto, you could use the end of your seam ripper. Great video btw. The pouches are very cute.
Awesomeness 🤩
Thanks for Show & tell😁👍
Holly, you are the coolest and sweetest…you also make me giggle with joy!❤

I've seen people use a chopstick and a skewers too!!!

Thanks Leigh Ann! I woke up this morning and I had hit 3000!
That zipper has me cracking up, love your humor. . . .😊
THANKS Holly, I made a Clam up bag a couple years ago but didn't hide the zipper right. Your video gives me confidence that I can try this one again!🎉
Can’t wait to try this one.
Now I am going to have to get a pattern from Annie, with both you and Tula Pink recommending it I have to try one. ❤
Those are so cute. Thank you for the instructions.
Great video! I never knew about the “by the yard” zippers. Another new product to try.
Great job! I love those!
I really need to conquer “the zipper” - it’s my “flying geese.”
You can do it!!

Great video! Cute pouches!
Love those bags!!! Especially the pink one with the darling little fox faces.......Tula, right? Love ya girl♥
Holly you have the most beautiful, beaming smile. You’ve helped me through a tough time. XO Carol from OF, IL
Aww Carol, thank you for the kind words. I'm sorry you've had a tough time and so grateful I could help a little bit. xo

I enjoy making little bags. I think I’ll buy the pattern. Your recommendation means a lot.
I adore your personality!
It’s really cute. Well done Holly
Congrats on hitting 3k

I really do appreciate you and your videos ❤
You did a wonderful job with the clam purse and voice over video….
Love this video! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Thank you for the video. A little wonky but made me smile😉
Holly, thank you for the video. I appreciate you!
You are so welcome!

@@DandelionStitches lol, you should have heard me humming to my husband to name the song.. I knew the song but not the title.
I love it when you wear something that opens up your face. Turtlenecks are well and good but I prefer to see you. 😊
It's warming up so the turtlenecks will go away. I have a disc issue in my neck and keeping it warm helps with the pain; hence, turtlenecks.
@@DandelionStitches I hope I didn't offend you, lovely lady.
@@donnaking-royal431 Of course not. Love to hear any and all opinions and suggestions. xo
You can use your purple thang as a stiletto...I do all the time. Very cute......fabric choice I ❤️
Loved the video and your fabric. Thanks for sharing. Are you using Soft n stable?
Yes I am!
Checking in again today. from SC you’re an awesome teacher.
I made my bag yesterday. Almost finished. I added the binding to my zipper. Zippers are easy for me.
You make it look easy but I’m sure it’s not!! 😊
Holly, do you recommend using the zipper foot?
Love that fabric. Zipper size please.
It's a byAnnie zipper. Not sure of the size number.
It's over 3k as I'm watching

What size stitch length do you use?
I use 2.4 for stitching seams and 3.0 for top stitching.
Thanks so much
Scammers are relentless. Cute bags.
Holly - where do you like to purchase your zippers?
I usually get them straight from byAnnie, but I have seen them at a few quilt shops.
