All that had used to say to Mehmet was just because Ibrahim told him to be close to Hurrem's kids. Meanwhile Hurrem didn't raise her kids by filling their ears with hate. She was strict to them about respect and etiquette. Three of her children were overly fond of Mustafa and she never interfered with it since they were kids. It was only when they grew up and became active part of politics that she started talking about some things. By then it was too late.
Yes, i agree with you. Hurrem not hatred too much to mustafa, but more to mahidevran. She know what the real face mahidevran, better than her son know. But, later, Selim will given help and wealth to mahidevran after mustafa died as sign respect him to mahidev.

If Mustafa ascends the throne, “maybe” he saves the lives of his brothers, even Mahidevran as the New Valid Sultan would gladly allow it to happen.

It's not Mustafa he is concerned about, it's the devotion these people have towards Mustafa that is the problem. Sulieman knows that these people will try to harm his other children in order to improve Mustafa's chances and maybe even rebel against him using Mustafa as their puppet.
Admittedly, it's one of the more realistic parts of the show as the Ottoman Empire was not a place that fostered healthy familial relationships. That we can theorize what mental illnesses the survivors might have walked away with is proof of that.

One thing i dislike so much in this series is that anytime something bad happens to people here, they immediately blame it on others’ sins’. I.e like mustafa told her that maybe mehmet died bc it was a punishment from Allah…in islam we don’t believe that others bear the sins of others, ‘no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of others’ is mentioned more than 3 times in the quran, and in this video’s case it’s just really disgusting to guilt trip the person who couldn’t control what happened to mehmet plus it’s very degrading to use poor mehmet as weapon to blame his own mother who loved him and would’ve done anything to save him, just let these poor dead people rest in peace without using them to make others feel guilty. I’d understand if mustafa’s own mother was an angel or smth but he out of everyone should understand that these women, including hurrem, are all victims who did those sins to survive and blaming them for every tragedy that happened is very low of him

Even Mustafa said the greatest love for me is my love for you your majesty, no doubt in this, but what about his strong supporters they can manipulate him based on his emotions. What was the problem with janisarries greeting mustafa?
It wasn’t their place for one, and it tells Suleiman that he may have an uprising and more deaths if they decide to place Mustafa on the throne.
This is played up a bit in the show as, in reality, it was only one major incident that occurred in Suleiman's absence that doomed Mustafa, but the big issue is that the Janissaries are showing behavior to Mustafa that should only be given to the sultan. They're affectively illustrating that they regard him above his own father, which is a dangerous thing when sultans could be overthrown by their sons with the aid of the Janissaries (like Suleiman's own father did to become sultan).

The Ottoman Empire didn't foster healthy familial relationships all that often. Admittedly, though, Suleiman wasn't all that young when his father took the throne. He held the throne in the capital from 18 to 19 while his father was off securing things in a war against his brothers.
There's only one Sultan and ALL subjects MUST be loyal to him ALONE.

No. They weren’t. When research is actually done, turns out the Sultanate of Women may have helped the delay the fall of the Ottoman Empire.
I think it's not. That women become powerful because sultan in that time were weak compared to sultans in early Ottoman period. Hurrem and Mihrimah were influental, but Suleyman was more powerful. Nurbanu was also influental, but her husband and son also quite capable sultans. Safiye and Kosem who were too much intervened too much. Safiye once banished by her son (Mehmed III) and she tried to became regent for her young grandson (Ahmed I) and she banished again. Kosem became too powerful because after her husband's (Ahmed I) death, she experienced many dead and to became regent for her young son (Murad IV), she must be strong. But she had difficulties to transfered her power to her son when Murad became adult. After Murad, Ibrahim became sultan and he's mad and can't governt properly so Kosem became regent again.
