Well it’s not really a slap to Hafsa since she’s dead, but it more shows how powerful Hürrem is to have gotten the Valide Sultan’s chambers while still being a Haskei- of course in history she was the first Haskei Sultan. It also shows how close she is to Suleiman unlike his sisters. I do kind of wish that they showed the historical relationship between Hafsa and Hürrem, but they had to stir up some drama.
