- 一年の詩～吹奏楽のための (Hitotose no Uta for Concert Band)
全国大会金賞 Ver. (Zenkoku Taikai Kinsho Version)
Song of One Year (年の歌, Hitotose no Uta) is a piece for wind ensemble composed by Akito Matsuda. This song was selected as the free piece during Kumiko’s third year at Kitauji.
Current part was shown in the final episode (13) of season 3 of Hibike! Euphonium as part of their national performance!
I do not own this piece, credits go towards Kyoto Animation and Akito Matsuda.
確かに原作は久美子の努力が報われてハッピーエンドだったかもしれないけど、アニメは北宇治が好きな久美子の部長としての役割にフォーカスしてて良かったし、真由も北宇治の一員にホントの意味でなれた気がした。最後のソリのオーディションで負けたあとの「死ぬほど悔しい！」と泣く久美子と「私、この気持ちも誇りにしたい！」と願うところが成長を感じた。真由がソリに選ばれたことで、香織先輩と優子先輩の気持ちを知ることが出来てアニメならではの深みが作品に加わった気がした。

最初と最後のソロメロディが同じで、一年の巡りを感じるのもそうだけど、最初はクラにフルートがついて行ってたのに対して最後はフルートがソロをしてるのが、また春は巡ったけれど同じじゃなくて、次の世代の春が来たっていうのを感じられてすごく素敵だなって思った
久美子が奏に託すように、またこれまでもこの先も
ソリからの久美子の表情がまじ香織先輩すぎて好き
低音の唸りのような厚みが物言う曲なんや。ユーフォニアムを減らしてもチューバを増強した意味があったんやと納得。釜屋すずめの必死の息継ぎもしっかり表現されていて感心。

リズと青い鳥に似たようなのがあってそこでは高坂さんが吹いてましたが、ここでは小日向夢さんが吹いているので彼女の成長を感じます🎉
タイトルが一年の詩ということもあり
春を感じる鳥の囀りの様なクラリネットソロから始まり。
一年が終わり、曲が終わった！と思ったところで、春の訪れを感じるフルートソロ！！
一年の流れをうまく表現されていて最高に震えました。
5:50 これほんとに、この1音にかける想いは本当に本当に大きい。引退前の最後のコンクールだと余計に「これが最後だ…！！」ってうああああってなる…その感じが表情でも音圧でもしっかり表現されてて伝わってくる…涙腺ぶっ壊れる…
私がいたところは強豪じゃなかったけど頑張ってたから、引退前のコンクールの最後の1音にみんなの想いが詰まってて泣けたなあ
響けはほんとに吹奏楽部員の思い出に干渉してくるよね思い出させてくれてありがとう😭
どの楽章も魅力的だけど、個人的に一番興奮したのは最後の最後のフルートだわ

原作でも上の解説はあったけど実際聞くとやっぱ興奮するわー

リアルタイムで観てたけど演奏シーンはほんと泣いちゃった。アタシも現役だった頃思い出しちゃった。葉月ちゃんが涙流してるところ、さらにグッと来た😢

久美子の成長と、全員の気持ちの集大成であるこの演奏にいろいろ想いが溢れちゃってもう大号泣です！！！！！！！！ソリの時の久美子のお顔が切なくて切なくてもう…本当に言葉に表せないくらい感動した演奏でした…

久美子たちの顔立ちもちょっと大人になった感じで描かれてて凄く感動
出だしの春の訪れを知らせるようなクラリネットソロのメロディで始まって、最後にフルートが同じ旋律を吹くところで、アニメの最後に毎回久美子が言う「また次の曲が始まるのです。」のセリフが重なった気がした。
北宇治吹奏楽部としての久美子はもう終わるけど、また次の曲が始まり、アニメでは描かれない久美子達の人生はずっと続いていくんだな、、、
この演奏シーンを観ると、ユーフォシリーズを最初からまた観たくなる

Hazuki truly is the epitome of “hard work pays off”.
She was on team Monaka (the team consisting of band members who fail to their auditions) twice because (1) she was still a greenhorn in her first year and (2) Mirei, Goto-senpai, and Nagase-senpai were all better than her in her second year. However, she never gave up and kept on improving until she is good enough to be chosen as a competition member on her third / final year in high school.
When you’re chosen as a result of meritocracy (instead of seniority), the feeling of achievement is definitely more rewarding.

Not to mention that it's also Suzume and Satsuki's first time playing yet they immediately won gold medal. The true definition of meritocracy gone veru well
Hazuki didn't endure 2 seasons, 3 movies and multiple OVAs to be referred as "that tuba girl"

@@Ryo41600 i agree, i felt like the pacing was so rushed.
@@okxhieu I have other gripes with it, albeit the yuri bait that felt pushed so hard being unrewarded by the last scene with Kumiko's book holding the sunflower hairpin Shuuichi tried to give her during the movie and she denied, asking him to give it back to her after high school to hear her answer, leading to think they indeed got together despite that ship being pushed slightly like twice ... It felt unsatisfying.
There's also the fact Rena and Kumiko didn't do the soli together, or that she didn't pursue music ... Overall the ending left a lot to desire to me

I had graduated highschool a year before season 2. Watched the first two seasons as they released. Was 19 turning 20 during season 2. I listened to all the songs from both seasons throughout the years. Never watched any of the movies however. Remembered about 3 and a half weeks ago that season 3 was finally coming out. So I binged the first two seasons, and then watched the movies (plus the spinoff, and not including the first two movies that are retelling the first two seasons) in order. Then I caught up on season 3 at episode 11. Watching the last two episodes as they came out brought me back to doing the same with the first two seasons. Im 27 now. This show has a deep connection to me. Especially as someone who played the euphonium myself. The ending was perfect. This beautiful piece encapsulating every emotion I felt. Glad to have this studio back making incredible shows and movies. Amazing series that will always be a part of me. Especially the music.

Xでこのアニメの12話が話題に上がっていたのでNetflixで最初から全部見直して最終話に追い付きました。

Credit where credit is due to Akito Matsuda, who was responsible for composing the original soundtrack for this wonderful anime series. Matsuda worked under massive pressure to create emotional pieces for an anime centred around music. His work was, without a doubt, pivotal to the story and accentuated it greatly. He produced hit after hit after hit and never failed to deliver incredible music like Crescent Moon Dance, Liz and the Blue Bird, and Poems of the Year. Thank you so much.
wait really? I thought they were just pieces that was out there, i didnt know someone actually made them for the anime, Insane these music is very close to heart, and i owe it all to him.
@@nakirifannn1908 You're right that the anime used some existing band pieces throughout the series. For example, "Takarajima" (Hirotaka Izumi) was featured in the station concert in Season 1, "Samba de Loves You" (Shin Kazuhara) was part of the festival parade in the 2019 movie, and "Disco Kid" (Osamu Shoji) was used the intro/outro of Season 3. In these instances, the pieces were written by other composers. From my understanding, the external band music was selected to reflect the anime's timeline with the real world. However, the main theme pieces from the anime, such as "Liz and the Blue Bird" and "Cresent Moon Dance," were composed by Akito Matsuda himself. He also made the original soundtrack.
Edit: After writing this, I realized the only soundtrack from the series Akito Matsuda did not work on was for "Liz and the Blue Bird," where Kensuke Ushio took over that role. While Akito Matsuda did not compose the soundtrack, he composed its 4 movement main theme piece "Liz and the Blue Bird."

Sinceramente quería ver animado el como muestran la parte que toca cada instrumento durante su actuación. No estuvo mal el agregar imágenes de los recuerdos, pero igual me gustaba como KyoAni se lucían animando toda la actuación, es algo muy único del anime. Así como en las actuaciones del capítulo 5 de la 2da Temporada y como en la película "Chikai no Finale". Dejando eso de lado, como siempre Akito Matsuda hizo un gran trabajo con la pieza, me encanto y genera mucha nostalgia ✨

how do yall feel with mayu playing the solo?
Perfection
It was gud
I personally think this was a better route anime-wise. Shows how reality can be sometimes, but Kumiko takes that and now its a good life-long lesson for her to take into adulthood. Plus it was a good resolution to the character arcs both Kumiko and Mayu had and their dynamic together.

北宇治のために最高の演奏をしてくれたのでいいと思った。
確かに、部のために頑張ってた久美子に吹いてほしいってのもあるが
部活は久美子のためだけのものでなく、他の子達ありきの北宇治吹奏楽。上手い人が吹く。
その結果金が取れたから、
久美子の部員へのサポートの頑張りしかり、皆の演奏能力しかり、勝負どころのソリストしかり。最高でした
個人的に久美子に吹いて欲しかったが、原作通りだと真由の扱いどうかな…って思う…だからこれでよかったと思うけど…やっぱり久美子に吹いて欲しかったなという複雑な心境だな😢もちろんソロ選びに正解はないし、この瞬間をかけてものすごい覚悟で臨んだ京アニは本当に尊敬すぎる…あの悲劇があったからこそ今の感動があるんだな🙏

あともし劇場版やるのなら課題曲3:30ぐらいだと思うので、自由曲は8分ほどになるように再編曲期待したいです。
テレビ版でフル演奏しなきゃだったから6分台になったんではないでしょうか。
でもやっぱりその程度じゃコンクール自由曲っぽくないですよね。リズみたく8分は欲しい。

劇場版の誓いのフィナーレ(2019年4月19日公開)の約3ヶ月後に京都アニメーション放火殺人事件が発生
正直あれを越える(又は並ぶ)手の込んだ合奏シーンを現状描けなかったのかもしれませんね
回想シーンを入れる構想があったから、それに合わせた選曲だったのかもしれませんが
簡単な割には手数が多い。
たぶん楽譜も出てくるだろうけど
こんなたった6分ちょいのライトな曲に
(テレビアニメの尺にフル演奏を入れるためには
これくらいが限界なのかもしれないが)
ハープとかマリンバとか鐘とかいるって考えたら

やはりリアリティを求めてしまうんですよね。架空の大会だったら何も思わないんですが。
