She wasn’t spamming her NP, she wast just using her mana burst skill (which still takes advantage of that almost unlimited mana source she had at that moment). The only time she used her NP was in her last attack.
Thats true, master skill affects servant stats and all, but even with that. As a servant, they maintain the np, so Saber triumph card as it is Excalibur and respective excaliblast are still same with good or bad master... I would have paid to see Achilles, Karna or Gilgamesh vs Saber Alter. That sure would have been amazing 👌👌👌👌

If you compare saber to other servants, she is still surpassed by a great number of servants, only with Anime version, Saber alter is still surpassed by 5 servants and thats strange, I mean grail try to transform servants in the worst version of themself (it transforms their souls). However, saber is a pure alter version dominated by dark grail with no problems, other heroes has seemed to control grail power. So Saber is for me a second type servant. If someone ask for servants than dominated grail Alcides and Gilgamesh, they could stil maintain the concisious, although they had the same grail attacks 😅😅😅

saber alter believe it or not has lower overall stats compared to original saber, the only reason why she is so strong here is because she's directly connected to the grail, granting her infinite amounts of mana and having her self restraint forcefully removed, allowing her to spam prana burst and NP like its no big deal, Saber Alter's armor is heavier, so it slows down her speed to a certain extent but slightly giving her a higher defense, which is why she's capable of taking heracles' blow like that, her situation is compared to "A rampaging truck with unlimited fuel"

To be fair, HF is more of a case where they go against what has already been stated as technically Berserker should not have lost even against Saber with (effectively) infinite mana as God Hand makes it impossible to kill him twice the same way, so once Saber killed him with Excalibur the first time she shouldn't have been able to hurt him again.

In the VN it is stated that he sees Ilya as a sort of daughter figure. That’s why he tried so hard during this fight. He wanted to atone for what he had done to his own kids by protecting her.
Actually, Berserker can die 12 times because of his (really OP) Noble Phantasm, but he revived a 13th time when he fought Gilgamesh in UBW, surpassing his own NP limits
Uh, no. That's FGO lore only, and Berserker classes don't have Battle Continuation as a staple skill just because Hercules and Cu Alter have it, they have Madness Enhancement (which really just increases strength in the anime).

Aside from this, bounded fields can also be made to do many different things, such as create a location to harvest life force or mana from the living as they depict many times in the series, by having the bounded field have an alluring effect. 2. Watch "The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II", this is a series basing itself off of Zero and taking place within Shirou's timeline. It explains A TON of what people call "plot holes". In essence, it's a series that explains the everyday life of a mage while following one of the heads in the Clock Tower. Which also hints at what the other guys said, "The Mages Association" and "Policies". The Fate franchise made it seem like super powers were just for those in the Grail War, but this goes further into detail as to the group of people that keep the mage's world in the shadows and the story of Waver from Zero, as our main MC. Quite enjoyable. In fact, if you ware watching the movies, I RECOMMEND you watch "The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II" in conjunction as some references are from that series as well. Context being: Mystic Eyes, A Mages Crest, The Make-Up of a Servant, pre-requisites for summoning a Servant, among some techniques and details on how some spells function and work. You HAVE TO remember what franchise we're talking about, the franchise that covers every plot-hole... only if you really know the full story. Fate. Lol.
Just so you know, Excalibur is sealed. Lookup restraints of the round table, fate, and you will see. As pointed out by some of the comments below, Artoria cannot release the true force of Excalibur as she wishes. In this battle, at least 4 seals are still active, with more being arguable either way. (Mordred's, Agravain'ss, Galahad's and Arthur's). Excalibur is the sword of promised victory after all.
Ma man... please give this movie the respect it deserves... find a friend/family/collegue who has a minimum 60” flatscreen with some kickass audio system (or get some stupidly good headphones) and beg them to allow u to watch this movie on it😂😂 but seriusly, the animation detail is best viewed on somthing BIG n in HD. And the BGM and sound effects are just beyond superb, only high-quality speakers can do it justice.
The thing is, you could actually consider Saber Alter to be weaker than regular Saber Shirou didn’t have a mana path with Saber, possibly due to the nature of her summoning. Even if he could generate a decent amount of mana as an amateur mage (he actually has more circuits that the average mage, 20 being average and him having 27, but low quality due to neglect), he couldn’t have sent any mana into her anyways. Saber Alter gets access to an infinite pool of mana to draw from so unlike Saber under Shirou’s control... she fights unrestrained. Saber Alter, however, loses more things than she gains. Because of her corruption her Magic Resistance ranks down, which is unfortunate considering how regular Saber has basically the highest level of magic resistance, which is a middle finger towards Caster servants. Her Charisma drops all the way to E, and the only real benefit she gains outside of infinite mana is slightly higher durability (she’s got tougher armor).
One thing I don’t understand is that heracles’s nine lives prevents him from dying to the same thing a second time and seeing how Excalibur Morgan is used more than once to kill berserker this makes no sense
She only used Excalibur Morgan once, and that was at the end. She was using different A rank Mana Bursts to take away individual lives, whereas Excalibur Morgan took several.
@Manjiro Enzaki True. But they can't pass up Nine Lives Blade Works. They have to show that scene. And while this seen is beautiful, it does show a far higher power level than the characters actually posses. And opens questions of how the Institution and the Church are keeping this secret.

The true strength of Saber lies in her Avalon. The strongest protection in this world. Even Ea can't destroy it. Nothing can destroy that protection. If she has Avalon, she is equal to or better than Hercules or Gilgamesh. I'm so scared if Saber Alter has it hahaha
Here's why Saber doesn't have Avalon Saber wanted the Holy Grail just before she died. Saber is still alive participating in the future Holy Grail War as a servant. When a Servant is summoned, it is summoned in its heyday. However, Saber was not dead, so she was summoned with Avalon lost.
That's more of a defensive NP that she very rarely has on herself (due to the fact that her Masters typically weild it). Saber Alter also does not have Avalon whatsoever.

The Avalon we see in Fate is not a copy from the Throne of Heroes, but the real deal, lost for milennia that was found by the Einzbern and used as catayst to summon King Arthur. Heroic Spirits are defined by their own myths for good and ill, so if a hero lost something when alive or just broke it it will appear useless in their summon version or just not appear at all

I have to say I am disappointed in this fight greatly. It is sad they keep killing off berserker as a means to show how powerful the supposed big bad is. They did is with gilgamesh and now alter saber. They also broke several of their of precedented effects of saber's and berserker's attacks. So honestly 3/5, and the 3 is just for the amazing animation.
Becuase she diden't need to. Also the Shadow, for reasons I wont state for spoilers, woulden't want her killing him. She is not exactly evil, moreso mindlessly following the orders of her Master. Having no emotions about anything she is doing. It was more akin to a threat, a way to show him what would happen if he gets in her way. If he doesen't, she woulden't. Unless ordered too.
littlebit of advice: you dont have to look at the camera when you react to it. Feel like you sometimes miss key-frames because you wanna say something about it while looking at the camera :)

Saber alter apper crazy but in fact she used a good tactic God hand of Berserker grant him 12 lives but at same time when a wapeon take his life he will be invensible agents the wepone and an excalibeur full power can take 7 lives and in her alter form let's say it takes 10 So that way at first saber start using excalibeur with low power First she used like 20 % of excalibeur than she raised the power until the end were she used 100%
@@SeanShibby What he said was correct but it doesn't say everything, here is a better one The thing about Herc's god hand, it doesn't actually make him immune to it but rather just gives him a set amount of resistant to it. Resistance doesn't equal nullification. In an Q&A included with the Blu-rays for Unlimited Blade Works, Nasu states that it's heavy resistance as opposed to nullification: Nasu: "For example... if you were to take fire damage, once you recover you would gain +100 resistance to fire." Takeuchi: Oh, feels like it has been toned-down. Wouldn't it have completely nullified it before? Nasu: I said it won't work, but I don't think I've ever said it'll be negated. For a better example- Caliburn can take 7 lives(Suppose). If each lives give him 100 points resistance(just an example, numbers not specified) then Saber lily can use Caliburn again and again by taking one life each time rather then taking all 7 lives at once because she doesn't want to(For some reason. Just an example, don't question why not). First time she only uses one-seventh of its power, one life gone and 100 point resistance gained. The second time she uses two-seventh of its power(200). 200-100=100 extra damage taken, another life gone. This continues until 7 lives taken and he completely becomes immune to full powered Caliburn. Note- It has been stated that Excalibur can take away all 12 lives so Salter can use a weakened version(increase power each time killed) again and again until all lives taken.

Like the Fate/complete material III book states "God Hand also possesses a third effect: rendering an attack that it has experienced before useless. Regardless how powerful is the Noble Phantasm that defeated Heracles, it would be completely nullified after he resurrects. " So it has been explicitly stated that God Hand makes Herc immune to anything that has killed him.
This is way more over the top than the original VN. Where the fight was more mellow. HF in general was very mellow. In the original he was just impaled and drowned in darkness. This was pretty much a point blank Nuke.

How can saber didn't have any scratches from Berserker. I mean Berserker literally trow and smash her a couple time Normal servant for example Lancer vs Archer, Archer got some scratches from Lancer when he get kicked during their battle That is just an example and clearly Berserker is more stronger pyhisically than Lancer, so how come Saber look just fine after that?
Probably to make Saber look really OP here and make this fight scene one of the best in Fate history. Bcoz in the novel, Heracles was only defeated bcoz the shadow was holding him the whole time. He barely even got to fight and he even ripped his own arm just to free himself from the shadow. He's clearly no match against them to begin with, unlike here.

@@herliantodwi2815 Yes, Herc is fighting Saber while at the same time the shadow is absorbing him and restricting his movement, basically he stays in the same place most of the fight while Saber attacks and slashes him, but he still holds his own even though he is being massively handicaped, but is a lost battle because he can't keep fighting forever thd shadow is engulfing him more every second that pases and Saber is not taking any significative damage and regenerates fast and doesn't get tired on top of that, so he rips the Shadow along with his flesh and charges towards Saber intending to kill her with one blow, only then she unleashes Excalibur to stop him, and Shirou is blinded by it after that her mask thing breaks with the implication that Herc was the reason ans that he indeed damaged her

Its because she was using different mana bursts, despite it coming from the same source, her attacks being animated differently confirms this. Some attacks can also take several lives at once, like Excalibur Morgan.

Actually, Berserker can die 12 times because of his (really OP) Noble Phantasm, but he revived a 13th time when he fought Gilgamesh in UBW, surpassing his own NP limits
Uh, no. That's FGO lore only, and Berserker classes don't have Battle Continuation as a staple skill just because Hercules and Cu Alter have it, they have Madness Enhancement (which really just increases strength in the anime).

1. Bounded fields. It's hinted at early on in every series, specifically when there is about to be an altercation, bounded fields divert the presence of non-mage civilians. Aside from this, bounded fields can also be made to do many different things, such as create a location to harvest life force or mana from the living as they depict many times in the series, by having the bounded field have an alluring effect. 2. Watch "The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II", this is a series basing itself off of Zero and taking place within Shirou's timeline. It explains A TON of what people call "plot holes". In essence, it's a series that explains the everyday life of a mage while following one of the heads in the Clock Tower. Which also hints at what the other guys said, "The Mages Association" and "Policies". The Fate franchise made it seem like super powers were just for those in the Grail War, but this goes further into detail as to the group of people that keep the mage's world in the shadows and the story of Waver from Zero, as our main MC. Quite enjoyable. In fact, if you ware watching the movies, I RECOMMEND you watch "The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II" in conjunction as some references are from that series as well. Context being: Mystic Eyes, A Mages Crest, The Make-Up of a Servant, pre-requisites for summoning a Servant, among some techniques and details on how some spells function and work. You HAVE TO remember what franchise we're talking about, the franchise that covers every plot-hole... only if you really know the full story. Fate. Lol.

Just so you know, Excalibur is sealed. Lookup restraints of the round table, fate, and you will see. As pointed out by some of the comments below, Artoria cannot release the true force of Excalibur as she wishes. In this battle, at least 4 seals are still active, with more being arguable either way. (Mordred's, Agravain'ss, Galahad's and Arthur's). Excalibur is the sword of promised victory after all.
Ma man... please give this movie the respect it deserves... find a friend/family/collegue who has a minimum 60” flatscreen with some kickass audio system (or get some stupidly good headphones) and beg them to allow u to watch this movie on it😂😂
but seriusly, the animation detail is best viewed on somthing BIG n in HD. And the BGM and sound effects are just beyond superb, only high-quality speakers can do it justice.

The thing is, you could actually consider Saber Alter to be weaker than regular Saber
Shirou didn’t have a mana path with Saber, possibly due to the nature of her summoning. Even if he could generate a decent amount of mana as an amateur mage (he actually has more circuits that the average mage, 20 being average and him having 27, but low quality due to neglect), he couldn’t have sent any mana into her anyways.
Saber Alter gets access to an infinite pool of mana to draw from so unlike Saber under Shirou’s control... she fights unrestrained.
Saber Alter, however, loses more things than she gains.
Because of her corruption her Magic Resistance ranks down, which is unfortunate considering how regular Saber has basically the highest level of magic resistance, which is a middle finger towards Caster servants.
Her Charisma drops all the way to E, and the only real benefit she gains outside of infinite mana is slightly higher durability (she’s got tougher armor).
The power of Ufotable ( and the $$$$$$)
One thing I don’t understand is that heracles’s nine lives prevents him from dying to the same thing a second time and seeing how Excalibur Morgan is used more than once to kill berserker this makes no sense
She only used Excalibur Morgan once, and that was at the end. She was using different A rank Mana Bursts to take away individual lives, whereas Excalibur Morgan took several.

The true strength of Saber lies in her Avalon. The strongest protection in this world. Even Ea can't destroy it. Nothing can destroy that protection. If she has Avalon, she is equal to or better than Hercules or Gilgamesh. I'm so scared if Saber Alter has it hahaha
Here's why Saber doesn't have Avalon Saber wanted the Holy Grail just before she died.
Saber is still alive participating in the future Holy Grail War as a servant. When a Servant is summoned, it is summoned in its heyday. However, Saber was not dead, so she was summoned with Avalon lost.
That's more of a defensive NP that she very rarely has on herself (due to the fact that her Masters typically weild it). Saber Alter also does not have Avalon whatsoever.
@@ChrrolloDI Its not that her Master wields it but that she lost it when she was alive. The Avalon we see in Fate is not a copy from the Throne of Heroes, but the real deal, lost for milennia that was found by the Einzbern and used as catayst to summon King Arthur.
Heroic Spirits are defined by their own myths for good and ill, so if a hero lost something when alive or just broke it it will appear useless in their summon version or just not appear at all

I have to say I am disappointed in this fight greatly. It is sad they keep killing off berserker as a means to show how powerful the supposed big bad is. They did is with gilgamesh and now alter saber. They also broke several of their of precedented effects of saber's and berserker's attacks. So honestly 3/5, and the 3 is just for the amazing animation.

Becuase she diden't need to. Also the Shadow, for reasons I wont state for spoilers, woulden't want her killing him.
She is not exactly evil, moreso mindlessly following the orders of her Master. Having no emotions about anything she is doing.
It was more akin to a threat, a way to show him what would happen if he gets in her way.
If he doesen't, she woulden't. Unless ordered too.
littlebit of advice: you dont have to look at the camera when you react to it. Feel like you sometimes miss key-frames because you wanna say something about it while looking at the camera :)

God hand of Berserker grant him 12 lives but at same time when a wapeon take his life he will be invensible agents the wepone and an excalibeur full power can take 7 lives and in her alter form let's say it takes 10
So that way at first saber start using excalibeur with low power
First she used like 20 % of excalibeur than she raised the power until the end were she used 100%

The thing about Herc's god hand, it doesn't actually make him immune to it but rather just gives him a set amount of resistant to it.
Resistance doesn't equal nullification. In an Q&A included with the Blu-rays for Unlimited Blade Works, Nasu states that it's heavy resistance as opposed to nullification:
Nasu: "For example... if you were to take fire damage, once you recover you would gain +100 resistance to fire."
Takeuchi: Oh, feels like it has been toned-down. Wouldn't it have completely nullified it before?
Nasu: I said it won't work, but I don't think I've ever said it'll be negated.
For a better example- Caliburn can take 7 lives(Suppose). If each lives give him 100 points resistance(just an example, numbers not specified) then Saber lily can use Caliburn again and again by taking one life each time rather then taking all 7 lives at once because she doesn't want to(For some reason. Just an example, don't question why not). First time she only uses one-seventh of its power, one life gone and 100 point resistance gained. The second time she uses two-seventh of its power(200). 200-100=100 extra damage taken, another life gone. This continues until 7 lives taken and he completely becomes immune to full powered Caliburn.
Note- It has been stated that Excalibur can take away all 12 lives so Salter can use a weakened version(increase power each time killed) again and again until all lives taken.
Both normal and alter excalibur can take all 12 lives

Like the Fate/complete material III book states "God Hand also possesses a third effect: rendering an attack that it has experienced before useless. Regardless how powerful is the Noble Phantasm that defeated Heracles, it would be completely nullified after he resurrects.
" So it has been explicitly stated that God Hand makes Herc immune to anything that has killed him.
This is way more over the top than the original VN. Where the fight was more mellow. HF in general was very mellow.
In the original he was just impaled and drowned in darkness. This was pretty much a point blank Nuke.

How can saber didn't have any scratches from Berserker. I mean Berserker literally trow and smash her a couple time
Normal servant for example Lancer vs Archer, Archer got some scratches from Lancer when he get kicked during their battle

Probably to make Saber look really OP here and make this fight scene one of the best in Fate history. Bcoz in the novel, Heracles was only defeated bcoz the shadow was holding him the whole time. He barely even got to fight and he even ripped his own arm just to free himself from the shadow. He's clearly no match against them to begin with, unlike here.

@@herliantodwi2815 in the novel Sabe Alter,the shadow and Assassin fight him together it's stated in the novel that berserker is at a complete disadvantage the shadow heavily weakened him (the shadow didn't effect medea,Archer,Assassin because they're Anti heroes )
@@herliantodwi2815 Yes, Herc is fighting Saber while at the same time the shadow is absorbing him and restricting his movement, basically he stays in the same place most of the fight while Saber attacks and slashes him, but he still holds his own even though he is being massively handicaped, but is a lost battle because he can't keep fighting forever thd shadow is engulfing him more every second that pases and Saber is not taking any significative damage and regenerates fast and doesn't get tired on top of that, so he rips the Shadow along with his flesh and charges towards Saber intending to kill her with one blow, only then she unleashes Excalibur to stop him, and Shirou is blinded by it after that her mask thing breaks with the implication that Herc was the reason ans that he indeed damaged her
And later she's lose to some third rate magus who barerly starting his training as a magus. Plot armor to the finest

Its because she was using different mana bursts, despite it coming from the same source, her attacks being animated differently confirms this. Some attacks can also take several lives at once, like Excalibur Morgan.
