Fuck the budget. You know because we care so much about the budget, saber's fights became sooo boring and lame as hell... This "over-budget" battle is the proof how insanely powerful Saber can be. This battle is the proof Saber is one of the strongest servant in Fate, not some shitty battle where Kuzuki was able to kick Saber's ass.

Just noticed that before she unleashes her final noble phantasm, you can see salter saying "excalibur morgan". The attention to detail is great

And it's almost in sync with the singing too, literal chills.
Late but she only says Excalibur. Same goes for the fight against Rider where she says it out loud. The Morgan part was added only in FGO I think.

What do u mean, illya also has near inexpendable mana, that is the reason she can control hercules and his stats are higher, if saber was summoned by illya, she would be stronger than she is here.
Illya was basically designed to be perfect master, with perfect magical circuits and she also grail herself.
@@saivamshi7091 Near is not infinite, Saber has a poorly energy efficience, a single massive blast of energy from Excalibur like the ones she threw at berserker would leave her exhausted under normal conditions, and add to that each time they were stronger to overcome berserker resistance by God Hand, until she even used her NP, and then leave without even being tired, infinite is very different from lot of mata, if illya's mana were infinite, Heracles could revive forever, he would be completely immortal, no one would be able to defeat him, that's the difference between infinite mana and a lot of mana
I love the "weight" Heracles movements carry on in this part of the movie...he really makes himself see as the beast he is, jumping as soon as he is blasted by an NP, just to follow his opponent to keep fighting, even if it means losing...he's just like "shit 'yo, centaur blood already lit me on fire once, so screw you"
When I watched this scene I was constantly saying, fall back, retreat, save yourself. Thats not how berserker thinks. Its kind of tragic.

On UBW he doesnt get lose his 12th life with a big spear, instead after he lost 10 lives and is adapting to fucking Gate of Babylon atack patterns, Gil binds him with Enkidu and overkills his defenseless body with 22 NPs at once. Shirou that watched the entire fight and considered that Herc "defied reality" though to himself: "Even if it is a mighty hero that overcame ten deaths he wont be standing after receiving twenty (actually 22 NP but you got the point). Even if by some miracle is still alive he shouldnt have strenght left to even breathe"
And despite so hes able the break the chains and go after Gil a final time before dieing with a Proto Gae Bolg to the heart. Thats right He overcame 32 deaths before the he died for good and even so not only remained standing after he died for good, but also literally refused to dissapear leaving his body instead of going poof in golden sparks, so that ilya gets comforted on her last moments that he was still there and was invincible as always. So basically for the sake of Ilya Herc gave the middle finger to Gaia While it was trying to delete him despite not having power left at all, sustained only by his willpower that shouldnt even exist by then
On the VN version, this fight is mostly abridged but kinda hinted that Herc was still stronger overall than Saber Alter and had solid chances of victory if it wasnt for the Shadow nerfing him and binding from the waist below making him lose ground very gradually to Saber Alter. Then Herc decides to go all or nothing to break that losing situation by ripping the Shadow of him even showing the bone while doing so and dashing towards Saber Alter, but the extra time while Herc was getting free was enough for her to cast Excalibur Morgan, but not before she received a glancing blow that shattered her visor. Herc survives Excalibur Morgan but is then chomped by the Shadow, that part is the same that on the movie

She only uses Excalibur Morgan right at the end. Saber Alter has unlimited mana but its limited to Sakura maximum output, she probably needs a bit in between Excaliblasts to get enough juice for the next since its hella expensive mana wise.
If the grail is a gas station and Saber a car, Sakura is the pump, no matter how much gas are there the output is limited by the pump

The "terryfying" part is that Berserker is using his brains to fight her. And he does not have brains, but Hercules is so OP that he uses his brains for the fight.

Main reason archer herc is better is the independent action skill. A servant like herc cannot be cheap in manna cost as a reduction on the cost makes less reliant on having an Illya tier power Source to use his full power

Literally of the best animation with the best music I've seen so far in anime (Plus the bass at the end is just too epic)
Saber Alter flinching when Heracles comes back that final time is always going to be an awesome moment. She ragdolled him at the start, but he just kept coming back angrier. Then that final time it actually looks like she's backing away from him. Overpowered or not, Berserker is still massively intimidating.
Yeah exactly, even if the movie didn’t do a good job of fully adapting the fight between Salter and Beserker it still shows that it took a severe amount of effort on Salter’s part to take him down, and that’s even WITH the infinite mana supply of the grail which allowed her to nuke Heracles continuously with mana burst and Excalibur Morgan.
It has practically been confirmed that it is impossible to use this type of tactic against Heracles in a normal grail war fight. The only reason she was able to take so many lives so quickly was through mana burst which if she was connected to a proper master would still be ineffective as it would drain them completely very quickly, even if it was a Rin or Illya tier master.
Heracles was just that much of a BEAST, even if Arturia was at full power I’d still put it in Heracles win. Cause other than Excalibur I don’t see her being able to take so many lives, and even then I don’t think Heracles would just sit there and let her pull it off.

Then UBW,, then salter vs berserker,, then rengoku vs akaza,, then salter vs rider and now tengen vs gyotaro...... What could i even say..... They just keep surpassing themselves..... Only they can be outclassed by themselves..... I love that about ufotable.... That they give more effort to quality than quantity...... That's why we get such legendary animations..... Ufotable is indeed on a different level when it comes to producing animation for an anime. Crazy! This is masterpiece.
Not sure if it was intended, but when Saber Alter uses Excalibur Morgan I noticed a neat little effect.
Back in Fate Zero when Saber uses Excalibur's Noble Phantasm, it looks like tiny golden fae sprites are beckoned by the divine magic the sword emanates.
In Heaven's Feel however, when Saber Alter uses Excalibur's corrupted Noble Phantasm, those same sprites are beckoned forth again but are instantly incinerated in the conflagration of the insane amount of mana (prana) that Saber is using for Excalibur.
How didn't I notice that before? That's a really sweet detail.

The animation in this fight is beyond phenomenal and Fate is my favorite anime franchise. when I was watching it for the first time I was just thinking imagine if record of ragnarok had this level of animation. (For the record tho the animation in record of ragnarok was very accurate to the manga but maybe to accurate)

It's more becuz of Heracles' Mad Enchantment that he lost since he can't fight like normal or use any of his skill while Saber is fully loaded

Saber Alter had unlimited mana supplied by Sakura; Saber or Alter on her own would not be able to spam prana bursts to that extent to wear down Berserker's 9 lives so easily. Plus the Black Grail was also directly helping her by attacking Herc.
In the VN the fight played out differently with the same outcome, but in the VN it was a 3 vs 1, with True Assassin, Saber Alter, and the Sadow fighting him. Saber Alter and Hercules were more or less evenly matched in the VN rather than it being a one sided fight. I like the movies fight and Saber Alter's emtrance but I wish they keeped some things accurate to the VN

That fight in all 3 parts was my literal favorite that it honestly gave me goosebumps, the animation, the colors, the fight itself where she keeps on trying to kill him and he gets back up, until she had enough and wants to kill him with the final blow, it’s so fucking beautiful.
The movie’s story is beautifully written that I had 0 idea why Sakura was the main character in this path, until it clicked on the 3rd part, that movie is a masterpiece. (I didn’t know anything about Fate story before seeing the movie)
