Hi Chester. My best answer is it depends! What types of things are you looking for during your retirement? Bellevue is a great place to live due to its central location…retirees who are active have access to mountains, lakes, everything the outdoors has to offer. There are many people who live here for half the year and move to warmer climate during the winter. I will retire here but that’s about 20 years away! Hope that helps
As a Bellevue resident, all I can say is that Bellevue is everything that is wrong with American suburbs. It's soul destroying and the most depressing place I've ever lived.
Gosh, sorry to hear that is you experience. I've traveled around a bit and have family that lives out of state. In my opinion this is still the best place to live I've seen. Been here 40 years. I do miss folks riding their horses up around NE 24th and 156th NE.
Eastside is the best side. The cats agree!
