Thanks DTP! I really appreciate it! Hopefully you can get on to some of the same goodies. I've had a lot of luck this year so far so I hope it keeps up! Goodluck to ya!
For sure! They are my favorite thing to dig after silver. I would love to dig a town token from one of the towns around here where I'm working and detecting but I just haven't gotten that lucky yet. It isn't for a lack of trying though!😁
Thanks Jim! Tokens are by far my favorite thing to find. I would love to dig a few ND town tokens on video that have the town names but I haven't gotten my detector over that ground yet. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Dave! The old homesteads can be tough to find much at but than there are times when those places are loaded with goodies. My first video was one of those places. I really enjoyed hunting there but sadly I think I have it pretty well picked over.
Not a problem for me watching those Wheaties come up it shows everything is working and you're digging is spot on...I'm British so I love seeing these old farmsteads, but what would be gold for me would be an old mining town or an early 1800s ghost town 😲👍and swinging on a civil war or independence war battlefield with that kit you've got you should a real selection of Goodies....
The old farmsteads are easy to come by but we don't have anything really older than the late 1800's sadly. I still have a darn good time with what I do have to detect. Thanks for watching Brian!
I enjoy your videos, you don't spend an eternity on your find which makes watching more enjoyable...wheat cents (I agree w/ya)...i bought a lincoln cent coin book to fill, kinda makes wheat cent finds a lil more fun😋keep up the great vids!
Thanks! I try to put as many digs in each video as I can with a minimum of wasted time.....seems to make a more enjoyable video for people to watch. I keep a wheat penny coin book in my pickup that I'm trying to fill which as you said does make digging wheats a little more fulfilling. I did manage a 1931-S this year that I sent to NGC but I have yet to find a 1914-D or a 1909-S VDB.
Thanks David! I really appreciate it! I got a silver at that homestead today so there's that to look forward to for next video.....although I did record myself digging 4 wheats......two videos of which may have been deleted 🫢
I don,t mind digging wheats, because you have such a variety of semi key and key dates, like that 1911S you dug. Like I mentioned before with all those D mints, and you hit a 1914D, you will go looking for Wheaties. Good luck.😊
Thanks for subscribing James! I shouldn't complain about all the wheats being that usually means there's silver nearby but I feel like people don't want to watch a pile of wheats get dug up. Better than nothing though I guess.
I do have a couple little spray bottles in my truck that I use on silvers but for the most part they stay dirty until I get done swinging. Pretty much everything else getting vmwiped clean of the dirt on them.
Nice finds. Anytime I'm digging coins one hundred years old is a good day in my world.
Thanks Brett! I don't mind so much digging wheats as long as they're older.....the 1940's and 1950's wheats get under my skin though.
Thank you for allowing us to follow your finds. You are doing great.

Thanks Philip! It has been my pleasure. And thanks for watching!
Your videos are awesome… I’m envious of your finds. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to watching more videos.

Like digging old tokens, too. They can tell you a lot about the people there.

Love me some tokens. I wish I could find more. Congratulations on all the finds.

I have enjoyed your videos. Makes me want to head out to the old homesteads I know of where I grew up in the plains of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Awesome tokens!! Awrsome old coins bro!
Thanks man! I wish there was some more silver or some ND town tokens involved though.

Thanks Jared! I'm not terribly far from there, never detected there. I would bet there is a lot of Virgin ground up that way. Goodluck to ya!
New subscriber. Love the videos! Wish I had your wheat penny problem!
Happy Hunting!

You should carry a water spray bottle to wash off the dirt off the coins you find, instead of rubbing the dirt over the face of the coins….🤔
