Just because the game started off with one of the best boss fights of that decade with Poseidon, you tend to forget the spectacle and how underrated and masterly crafted the other boss fights were as well. Forgot how intense and badass that whole sequence from 4:01 felt, so good.
I dunno, this was the most memorable fight for me. Still remember the quote, "I will see you suffer as I have suffered." Scary shit coming from mother fking Hades.
Whatever mythology they'll go next after Norse, Santa Monica needs to fit another visceral fight with a god of the underworld to a similar scale to Hades. If they go to Egypt, I don't feel either Anubis or Osiris would feel right (unless they write a REALLY good reason to fight them, but still not to this scale), but perhaps Ammit the Devourer would be a great choice. If they go with Aztec mythology, Mictlantecuhtli would be just perfect.
Th thing is, according to mimir n tyr's writings, th gods of th egyptian pantheon ruled w/ great wisdom, humility n kindness, so do th mayan gods. Kratos would have no reason to kill them if he ever traveled to their kingdoms. That said, it's also noted by tyr that th mayan god of th underworld, most likely referring to ah-puch, enjoys torturing souls w/ fire n water. It's unknown whether th aztec gods exist in th gow's universe or not
