    Dig'n your series dude. I am rejuvenating my 00' 7.3 excursion. She is a trail beast, loves the mountains of TN.
    Can't wait to see you get yours fired up. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit & share. Best of luck my friend 💪👊💥

    Man I binge watched your series! Love the videos and love the hard work you have put in! Thanks for sharing and motivating us! I know its not easy. I would like to know parts pricing on everything you’re putting in. I know you’re in it balls deep, but just curious. Can’t wait for the next episode! You rock dude! 💪💪💪

      Very good work man Ians build . I was going to go with a kill devil diesel motor as well .
      Well I would guess at lease 30 k-35 k easy .
      I have to ask was made you want to put so much money into something older like that ? Just the motor alone is 17k .
      I love the build and I like 6.0’s just is a ton of cash .

    I’ve been reading on the trans & wondering if the direct drive & EPC solenoids are worth upgrading? What I’ve read is about 50/50 on yes or no. Any experience with those?

    What fluid was recommended by Twisted Diesel? LV or V?

    You missed that ground or pulled it off the main harness why Pat's wont work,

    • @GSXR1000Rob
      @GSXR1000Rob  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, you are right, but I haven’t been able to isolate the problem yet. The main harness is causing the issue though. When I unplug the main engine harness from the PCM, everything comes alive and communicates.

      @@GSXR1000Rob ok any chaffing what's the condition of the harness, what year is the truck aswell

      @@jacobgomez2682 I looked over the harness and rewrapped it. Didn’t see anything obvious. The harness is original from 2003. I’m going to recheck all the grounds to the engine and put in a new engine harness. Fingers crossed it solves the problem! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Please be safe, don’t rely on a floor jack to support the truck, use jack stands as backup.

    • @GSXR1000Rob
      @GSXR1000Rob  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree! In previous videos, I always have a jack stand under. The Jack was used in this video to simply get the transmission under the truck, it wouldn’t clear. Once the transmission was under the truck, we lowered the truck back down in its wheels to install it.

      Going under the truck with jack and the 2x4 on slight angle was not good.
      I have known two people on my street that died when a jack slipped. These were separate events. I make sure, no matter how little I need to go under, there is a back up. And that back is not my head.
