I loved this Abbye! So cute! Murphy knows how to use a doorknob at our house. If it's a lever type doorknob, he can just let himself out. I'm sure if he had thumbs, he'd be able to use a round doorknob, too. He knows how it works, just doesn't have the right body parts to get it open, so he will touch it with his nose instead.

The point of crossing poodles with goldens is to get the intelligence and non-shedding of the poodle with the happy-go-lucky personality of the golden. Non-neutered male poodles can be rather nasty sometimes, so getting rid of that trait is highly desirable. Of course, to be fair, female goldens with puppies can be hell on paws^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H very protective. Looks like with Dude you've gotten a good pup. :-) (Full disclosure: our nearly six-month old goldendoodles are named Jackson and Nico. At the moment they're totally engrossed in the beef shoulder blades we just bought them. First time in three months they've found something more fun to play with than each other :-)
Love this cute little challenge! I have a goldendoodle as well but I have trained him to 1. not get excited when I get my keys or leash since he got WAY too excited 2. leave a treat unless handed to him and 3. stay calm because he does therapy work and children are always playing on him so I'm not sure if he would care if a blanket was on him lol So even though Ollie is so smart, I don't think he would pass this test

Faze Rugrat wouldn't recommend it. Mini goldendoodles are a mix between Golden retrievers and toy poodles. Mixing dogs with such a big size difference will very often lead to problems when they grow up.
I want them both! Both dogs are super extra smart. In all fairness, Dude did have the home court advantage over his uncle Snickers. What precious boys... all four of them.
