Today I am showing you all what a day in my goldendoodle Dude's life is! This is a day when he also has his agility class! This video has been requested a few times and I had a lot of fun making it! Dude is a smart and adorable puppy! I am a Poodle person and can promise that his “Poodle-smart-ness” will shine through. Poodles are second in intelligence, only to Border collies. Congratulations on your precious pup. He’s quite a ham for the camera, isn’t he? I LOVE the “white eye” as we call it in my family, that he shows when looking up or over at the camera. Precious!
If you want your dig to come back when you call him. Take the super long leash while your in a park and when he doesn't pay attention to you go hide yourself with the leash in hand and because he doesn't want to loose you he will try to find you. When he found you reward him. Also, when you call him be crouched that way your dog is not impress about you and he want to come more. Never walk to your dog when you want him to come but go back, he will come! If you go get him because he don't want to come don't "ground" him because next time he will go away when you will go get him.
These are just tips and tricks, it's your dog and you choose what do you do whit him! I don't want you to take this comment like a reproach! I used those tricks for my dog and it worked really well!

Hi florence, i have a puppy problem:( i Got my 9 weeks old Australian Labradoodle 2 weeks ago And she bites a whole lot. She has super sharp teeth And it hurts so much but i do not know How to stop her. Do you have any tips or advice for puppy biting?❤️

Hi,
first off all, don't be worried by the fact that your puppy is bitting a lot, because it's 100% normal.
So there are different tricks. First if your puppy bites your things like shoes or etc. You can avoid that by putting just a little bit of Tabasco hot sauce on what your puppy is biting. It won't hurt but your furry companion will not want to go anymore. If your puppy bites your fingers, you can take a water spray and just spray a little on his nose when he bites. When she's bitting your finger, you can just push a little further in his mouth so he won't like it and would not really want to do it again. You can also just poke him in the neck and make a sharp sound like "tshhh" .

I always enjoy y'alls videos. Dude is just so adorable. I didn't realize how big he had gotten until he was playing in the den . I could remember in the video when he was a little guy going under the couch. Love all your videos.

wow! i see major improvement from the last time. if you keep improving at this rate you'll be competing in no time. i suggest getting a ramp and some jumps to put in the backyard and practice. it makes a lot of difference.

When you do agility stay very excited and for new obstacles give him lots and lots of treats
Our tennis ball launcher wasn't cheap, maybe $200-300 range... but our Lab and Rottie loved it, and it was a Christmas gift from "Santa". 😂 My sisters cavalier was obsessed with it he used to bark at it like a lunatic. It was much easier to train them to put the balls back in because it was a large bucket up top.

I’m only 11 and I do agility here is my advise . Take an extra long lead and take him for a walk and call him back then reward him with his favourite treat or toy . Apart from that the pups amazing and also that piece of equptment is called a dog walk

I absolutely love watching dude! My boyfriend and I also have a goldendoodle named cooper who looks exactly like dude! Goldendoodles are the best kind of dogs ❤️ p.s. we bought the bed from petsmart after seeing dude love it and now our cooper barely goes on our bed because of his new comfy bed so thanks!
I use kids summer toys Walmart as agility for when I’m home in the yard, tunnels and jumps. It’s make for kids but you can make it for whatever honestly no clue what they’re called box is long gone. And broom handles for jumps haha just gets him activity in between classes he loves it
A tip from me never get mad at dude when he does something wrong😁😁😁😁
You can get something called iFetch which actually throws the ball really far search it up and check if you're interested.
the way I taught my dog to not get so distracted on the agility course is I got his favorite squeaky toy and every time he seemed like he was going to go sniff something I would squeak it and he would come back then I would reward him. Hope this helped😊 I love you guys!

Hi! We are adopting a doodle- he'll be coming home on Sept 9! Can't wait- thanks for the helpful vids... One thing that shocked me was how fast Dude grew so big! I'm just trying to gauge what size our pup will be!
- How tall is Dude now/ how much does he weigh?
- Do you know his parents' heights /weights (For ours, mom is a Golden 18'' 50lbs & dad is a standard poodle 25'' and 60lbs)
I would love your insights on this- I know there's no real way to predict, but it would help us to plan :)
For a better machine that pitch the ball you should take: ifetch! It pitch really far if you want

Have you ever tried training agility with a toy, many dogs are more receptive to that and gets them more amped which helps build speed and accuracy eventually, in the beginning in May look a little messy, but eventually the dog will realize he has to be accurate to receive the reward, eventually he start making tighter corners, going faster, and being more accurate, I used to work with treats and it would always be slow and meandering, while using toys makes it more fun for many dogs

I have a poodle Pomeranian mix and she's six going on seven. She's a family dog and really good with people, but her training goes as far as sit stay come and she understands some simple phrases like 'out of the kitchen' and 'go to the bathroom'. It wasn't until recently I realized she might be a good agility dog, since she goes up and down narrow ramps with no problem, jump realatively high and doesn't get distracted easily. I don't know if she can be trained at her age, any suggestions on what I can do?

That obstacle you keep calling a "walk it" is actually called a dog walk. "Walk it" is just the command that a lot of us say to go over the dog walk and A-frame.

Our puppy cried until we got her a stuffed puppy about her size. That night and every night she goes right to sleep. That was 5 years ago, and she still sleeps with and plays with "the puppy"! She throws it up in the air and carries it like a dog would carry a real puppy! Sophie is so cute!!Good luck with your puppy!
Puppies usually do cry...I used to let them sleep with me and they were fine. But here I am 12 years later with 4 dogs, my hubby and me in a bed! LOL! My dogs are all small.

Hi Avery! I got my goldendoodle 4 months ago, and it's totally normal, every time she whined or cried it broke my heart. I know this sounds harsh, but if you wait it out and the puppy will know really fast that whining and crying isn't going to get you to come, or else she would start doing it a lot more.

+Jaime LovesLife yes! We did at the beginning for a couple of months! The first few nights were hard with crying and having to get up and take him out every few hours! I promise it gets better fast!! Now he just sleeps in his bed by us at night and loves it! Good luck with your new pup!!🐶💕

A great food to feed your dog is from the brand Wellness. There are different kinds and flavors that you can choose from. My dog likes the chicken/ original flavor. There is the Wellnesss Core and Wellness Complete Health that my dog has tried and enjoyed. The ingredients are great and real. There's kinds for large breeds, small breeds, and just regular size. My dog is a Maltese- Shitzu and he personally eats the small breed, original flavor all up! It's grain free, all natural, protein rich containing no wheat, corn, soy, meat-by-products , artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. We just pick it up from Petsmart, Petco, Amazon, etc. I highly recommend looking at the ingredients and you will for sure be surprised to see the awesome ingredients such as spinach, blueberries, and all kinds of healthy, good stuff! I would definitely try out this brand and won't regret it:)!

Did Dude ruin anything as a pup? My pup managed to bite through a cupboard edge, and scratch a hole in the wall... But it's okay we still love LILO!
Not to mention a leash or two and a harness or two....
