I have Neca and TOTS in my Amazon cart! I think I'll go with the Dream Masters one because it's easier to wear, and the quality is the best that I've seen so far! Even though it's not exactly accurate movie wise, I think I'll get that one as my first Freddy Glove man 🎃!
Get it Bro! I'll probably upgrade to a more accurate custom glove, but these ones I have will probably hold me down for a good 10 years lol. Thanks for leaving a comment!
Nice. As a serious Fred Head (on a budget) the insight is appreciated. My 1st & only glove is the one that ppl in my boat usually get, the Rubies' standard tan glove. I had to do an overhaul, & put lots of effort in dirtying the prop correctly (using charcoal & weed ash), & using high quality paint markers to create the correct rusted/aged look. Finally, I used something (I don't recall 100%) like a brillo pad to scratch up the back plate & parts of the fingers, which ultimately created a sheen which was so dope. It reflected light in a way that accentuated the scratched up backplate, as well as the entire piece. I encourage everyone who has a less than ideal prop, to have fun, be creative, & don't hesitate to make alterations. You might discover a hidden talent.
That is dope! I have that Rubies one as well, but forgot all about it when I did this video. It didn't even cross my mind to modify it. I bought it 10-15 years ago (or more), before my life of modifying stuff lol. Thanks for sharing your blueprint for altering the glove!
@thepropwiz7121 I really appreciate the response. It was a fun project. I'd love to post a pic after I replace a couple of finger loops...Also, kinda living 20 yrs ago tech-wise.
That was a great review I’ve been shopping around for a glove and the details you provided really helps with my decision The best Nightmare on elm street is 3, 4, FD, 1, 5, NN, FvJ, 2 and the remake were terrible
I got one of The nightmare part 3 gloves and I modified it I got real work clothes and put it in glued the fingers in to help with the dexterity and I soldered my own blades on so mine is close to accurate as you can get
Only thing I didn't utterly loathe & resent about that abomination remake was the new glove design. It seems like something Krueger would have in his cellar collection.
@birkenstv4565 I hated that they turned the character into a simple child molester, who never even took a life until after he was dead. Wes Craven's idea was for a child murderer, w/subtext of pedophilia (they went light on that aspect cuz of a current child abuse ring in the news at the time), but to reduce him to JUST a pedo, it also softens the parents' revenge motivation a bit as well, & it made Freddy way less scary.
@@matthewmartin4394 it was a child molester in the original too you know yeah its maybe reduice to dat but it for the faik twist with quentin and nancy think it wa sinocent and honestly i would love the movie even more if they make freddy inocent and play with dat twist but sadly no but i still love the movie for what it could be and personaly i love the new version more dark of this freddy i love the acting and for me its the better movie after the 1 2 and 3
I have the Neca Part 1 and part 3 gloves which cost me around 100$ each, and also the Rubies. I really wanted a part 2 but they are too rich for my taste.
I think these more “mass produced” gloves are a big shame. I bought the Dream Warriors glove from TOTS, only to be sighed and displayed. I think for physical use and application, these mass market gloves are horrible. The fingers are too long, glove too short, and paint applications vary. My first glove was actually from Razorgloves. Payed 144$, after shipping and tax. Took 6 months to receive it in the mail. The quality is absolutely astounding. The glove fills in the metal and my hand fits perfectly. The metal fingers are actually tight against glove giving full range of movement. Only downside to the glove is that it isn’t screen accurate. The artist who makes them purely goes for quality and physical application over making it look identical. That is the one to use for cosplay, Halloween costumes, and just to mess with from time to time. Like I said, the TOTS I think are decent for display only.
That's funny, I just got my Dream Warrior glove signed earlier this year that elevated my love for that particular glove. I've definitely seen better gloves since posting this video. The Razorgloves does look dope (just looked it up) and priced way better than the TOTS ones. Thanks!
Awesome review bro. Love your glove collection. If you want a movie quality glove literally check out Springwood Replicas I have a part 2 glove and his gloves are made with real knives and real copper and brass. For another 150 you can get a real glove just like in the movie and he makes every glove except The New Nightmare. My favorite look of Freddy is from part 2 in my opinion that's the movie he looks most scary in my opinion of course. Great video bro I instantly subscribed.
The Dream Warriors glove is by far the best in the franchise! But i have same issue with the pinky finger and bending it. The original Movie Glove i find the rings are too far apart and will only fit someone with fat fingers.
I agree with you with the Dream Warrior glove. All my gloves before these ones had the same issue with the pinky finger which is probably why it doesn't bother me that much, but it's still nice to have one that fits right.
That's one of my unreleased songs. A lot of the songs I put at the end are from some of my albums that you can find on Spotify (link in description) or iTunes, but I haven't loaded this one yet. Thanks for asking!
Not to be harsh but Mike Peace is correct. Those are collectibles and decent starter gloves. But none of them are accurate. The Trick or Treat Studios gloves in particular are way over priced. For $200 you can purchase an accurate glove from an independent builder. The ones from NECA is questionable as they feel really cheap and filmsy to be real metal. And they are the least accurate of the two.
That's not harsh at all. Your honest input is welcomed and needed for collectors who have the options. In retrospect, I would've rather put that $200(x2) towards an independent builder. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I remember now what I used to scratch up the metal & make it reflect differently. One of those popsicle size emery boards.
Awesome video as always wiz!! 🔥🔥
I personally think that overall Neca is better just looks and feels better and seems to be of higher quality
I have Rubeys glove Tots dream 3 favorite so
Great video! Thanks for the info man

Necas part 1 and the dream warriors glove should hit the spot. They both look screen accurate are built extremely well and are affordable.

Actually, Neca did make one for the 2010 Reboot.
yeah and he look realy good i have it im realy happy!

The tots and neca gloves are junk. Buy from a indy artist because they'll be more accurate
