I have been trying to 100% this game. (Basically beat everything) the races were not too bad, Nightshift wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I just need to do the battle royale bullsh*t. Those ones have stupid ai, and it takes to long for the enemy to die. I hate the battle royale mode.

I'm glad THQ Nordic is doing good with Wreckfest. Ever since THQ shutdown and Nordic took over and kept the THQ name, I've always wished them the best as a company.
If it’s not made by BugBear it’s not FlatOut as far as I’m concerned. This game doesn’t even feel or play like flatout or remotely inherit the same physics. Slapping “FLATOUT” as the title is an insult. Might as well be some iPad racing game ported to Steam. However I’ll give FLATOUT:Total Insanity the benefit of the doubt, it’s not great but it’s not horrible either.
I was considering buying this on a Steam Sale thinking "how bad could it actually be?" After watching this video, I will NOT be doing that haha. I can't believe how terrible this looks. I actually did play Flatout 4 and while it's VERY rough around the edges, the actual racing is fun (the characters are just as bad as this one though). And shout out to Gas Guzzlers Extreme, that game is simplistic but very fun and the weapons have a really satisfying impact.

Team 6 is really bad at making games they probably use 90% of budget for games to weed. now they make mobile games , i played European Street Racing (2007) its just really bad and even loading it takes time like gta:online . there are pigeons made out of steel for some reason on map london or whatever that was.
Not even a mention about Crashday for the 3 games? You have guns, you can derby, has workshop support...that game infinitley is 100 times better than FO3, maybe more! And if someone wanna run a emulator or get a PlayStation 2 legitimately and a copy, get Crash 'n Burn. It may not have a story, but it ahs a campign but you can customize your cars..and the physics/soundtrack..is heavily worth it, even though the game is mediocre according to critics..it's underloved!

why call wreckfest a spiritual successor to flatout? flatout 1 and 2 are arcade games with very grippy cars and freedom to crash into the opponents if you want to the cars in wreckfest handle nothing like the cars in flatout and crashing into opponents is a great way of losing the race also the wreckfest community is full of people that will attack you for criticising the bad handling model

WreckFest is amazing. The one thing I miss from Flatout in WreckFest is the Carnival Games. Those would be amazing in online multiplayer

The battle mode sounds like they could just rename it "apocalypse" mode, and tell you to run from the AI, then maybe it would be more fun.
