Love this video, Greg. It’s amazing what happens when you realize what is important, where you made the wrong turn, where you screwed up and when you make that decision to change your path, mindset and life. This is a great story that really resonates with me. Wonderful interview. Thanks for sharing.
great video Greg. Tim's story is such a inspiration. I too had a weight issue and like Tim, these girls (and drones) keep me pushing to be a better me every day. along with my side kick bee helper you see in my pic.
Nice
I have a friend that had a stroke and her bees is what has kept her going.
Something special about these critters for sure!
Had Covid in March 2020. Had to close my home daycare of 35+years. Had a long term Covid cough for over 18 months. Dr's tried all types of treatments. It was my bees that helped me. I was without coughing during all my inspections while breathing that healthy hive air and for up to 2 hours after closing the hives I didn't cough. I went into a hive every day just for the relief. I had 7 hives come out of winter 2019/20 and it worked out great. Spring and summer 2021 with the cough continuing, I went from 2 survivor colonies and 2 collected swarms to 27 colonies and got alot of relief daily from that Covid cough breathing hive air. Sold queens and nucs. By Oct 2021 that long term cough was finally over. Went into winter with 17 colonies and got Covid again this Christmas and as I continue to feel better each day, that awful cough is back. With winter weather upon us I just can't wait to get back out to my hives and breath that healthy hive air to get rid of this cough too. Bees can heal in so many ways. I know I will lose some colonies this winter again but I do believe God will make sure some survive to let me heal with that awesome hive air again.
This was an awesome interview and video. As bad as I feel, I will have the strength now to get out of bed and be prepared to check in on my bees in 2 days when it will be warmer before another nasty cold snap.
Wow!!!Thanks for sharing that with us. As Tim says, theres healing in the hive...Hope you find healing and have a great spring. Let us know how you are doing!
