That beat was nice asf. Dude you have some mega skills
Thank you very much :)
Load takes you to the browser
someone pointed that out already, but thx.
Thank you best review for n the 37 so far in my opinion. I’m going with the 61 key
Cool bit of tech. I added it to my son's Amazon Wishlist as a "someday if he starts getting serious about making music" but it's cool to see they also have the MPK Mini Plus that is still pretty expensive for us, but is a little more realistic. I never would have even known about these without your videos. Love how happy you're looking in the vids!
It's not cheap, but it's also not just a controler. You can make songs on it without a pc. :)
And yeah. I'm enjoying myself because I was always first and foremost a musician :)
I’ve only had mine for 3 days…the device is amazing…in soooo many ways.
That beat though!! 🔥🔥🔥
Man that is sweet!!!!!!!!!! Bam!!!!!🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎹🔊🎻🎧 Is this a review or a concert!!!! Man, you need a contract!!!!!!
Hahah thank you very much. Glad you liked it :)
Nice Beat!! Just purchase one too, and I'm sold on it. Good vid bro
it's quite possibly the best creativity tool I have.. and trust me, I have more stuff than a person would ever need :D
You'll have fun with it!
Why are you comparing it to the X? Also you can adjust the pad sensitivity in the preference menu. It’s the same pads just smaller. The load button is the browse button they just change the name on the key 37. You’ve had a MPC X for over 5 years & you don’t know a lot of basic stuff. With all that said, that beat was dope!!!😂
"the basic stuff" is that they renamed it.. how should I know that? I literally just got the unit.
Thanks for the info.
When it comes to the pads, I tried changing the sensitivity, but it still felt different compared to my MPC X. And I'm comparing the 2 units, because I have a ton of experience with the X.
It sound better than mpc x, it has that old mpc knock on the drums
I own it and I love it definitely worth the money just know the more features you add to the key 37 the more your gonna pay hard drive and memory card slot they should have put double usb like the live 2
U nice on the beat
Great demo! The short cut to the browser is the menu button twice or shit menu once. But you might not know that coming from an MPC-X. O know this because the Live 2 has fewer buttons necessitating these types of short-cuts.
🔥
That beat is fire, Brother! Do you rap as well?
Thank you very much :) I do rap, but I'm Serbian, so I only have a few songs in which I rap in english :) I'll release one soon :)
cool... as a "sometimes" amateur musician I always love getting new keyboards
Nice beat and demonstration!
I think some guys used a power pack on the mpc one to make it portable. Could be fun for making beats on the train or bus 🤣
Headphones, power pack and mpc key 37! Let's go! 😂 But I guess the mpc one would be more suitable for that purpose because of its size..
Mpc one is the most portable mpc afaik. But the issue is that it doesn't have a keyboard. And for people like me, that can't live without one - that's a deal breaker. So for me, this is the best creativity tool that I got in a while. And I have a ton of synths, keyboards and guitars. But this thing just slaps!
It's the smallest at least. I think the mpc live has a battery, hasn't it? Yeah but sure, the keys are a nice to have. Have a little USB keyboard/ controller for that. But most of time I program my stuff. Not good enough for playing😁
@@janolat2519 I have a keystep, and I use it for programming arps and sequences only.. my fingers are too big for small keys and small keyboards lol
Got one 10 days ago. I like the fact that it can be played on its own, without having to connect to a computer. It takes a bit of getting used to if you are accustomed to having the usual rotary ADSR and Frequency/ Res type controls.
How do you multiple samples???HELP
do the pads have the option of "full level" button?
Yes
That beat is TIGHT nice beat 😂😂😂
Thanks :)
Do a tutorial on how you made this beat it’s fire
Thank you very much :)
Idk if the tutorial is necessary because everything is shown in this video lol
Is there a way to record vocals in stand alone mode?
Yes but you might need a preamp for that. MpcX or Mpc61 are better solutions if you want to do it all in standalone
@@GrumpyEye-rk7fh well I’m getting my mpc key 37 today,so that’s why I’m asking.I do have a XLR to jack converter plug.Could that do the trick?
Go and adjust the pad sensitivity
Very do-e🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you put/use fabric XL on it ?
yep
@@GrumpyEye-rk7fh Thank you.
I always say and stand by saying Mpc’s are not real magical Mpc’s without full transport and direction navigation buttons
it slows down the work flow too much not to have all the buttons from the original 3000 etc.
the touch screens are great but the feel and flow of the locate transport buttons and the navigation buttons to jump around the screen is still a great option that every Mpc should have from the start I have no idea why akai wants to force us to do everything on the touchscreen thats really less organic and kills the vibe of connecting to the work flow like it was originally intended and designed
I think with some things if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it
The full simple layout of the renaissance the first studio should be kept with just adding the touch a screen and touch strip
I will never buy another Mpc unless it has full feel like the Mpc x and key 61
All the others are just travel devices
And as for the price of the 37key it way too expensive to use as a midi controller for the software mode and the standard alone mode is not that powerful especially the warping
they should offer a midi version of their units for those who prefer not to be in standalone
very true.
Musik is your first love 🙂
But that does not mean, that some day (when you income is generated by your musik skills again) you might come back to SC here and there. And looking from that distance to SC will be surely epic.
honestly, I couldn't care less about SC as a game, or CIG as a company. They will always find a way to turn content creators into PR, and restrict and ban the ones that are criticizing them. I don't want to have anything with that company, ngl.
@@GrumpyEye-rk7fh Yes I know, I know.
But SC isnt a bad concept, the major money influx just leads to extreme bad project management, where the same idiots can do the same mistakes over and over again without facing any consequences.
What I mean, with a calm mind you still can come back without having the inherhent force to play what you dont like because it is not the main content anymore. More like an outsider that knows the game and look at it without having to deal with all the idiots that get angry when disturbed from licking CIG boots.
I’m trading my live 2 for this the only thing I would miss is phono jacks the 2 midi out ports and the the big pads
You might want to keep the Live 2 which is unparalleled for portability! It’s like trading in a mustang for a Camaro! Plus they will give you penny’s for your trade in.
Why tf would you trade in an MPC Live II for an MPC One with a controller attached tf to it???? That's essentially wtf a 37 key is. MPC Live Ii has more outs, more hard drive space space, prewired for 2nd ssd, has bigger screen, bigger buttons, more dynamic range on the i/o's. Plus that s8&& has speakers and lithium battery. An X cant even f8* with a Live II, in terms of features and mobility. You must be crazy af
JAJAJAJAJAAA....JAJAJAJAAAA...ANIMO CON ALEGRIAS...VERY GOOD...
Funny you said Yamaha was the worst keybed. It used to be Yamaha made keybeds for almost all synths
True.. but the modx7 has literally the worst keybed out there. I've played behringer synths with better keybeds than the modx7
This MPC Iis perfect. Just add SSD drive for more storage . Browser button is now Load button. Save button actually saves time and improves workflow. I have ZERO complaints.
Usb multi port
why do you even compare it to an mpc x and complain about it? Thats ehy its a $900 gear and its not a $2000 + gear
